@@PieterthechiefmanPost thanks Chiefman!! I appreciate that 🙏🍀
Hi,man! You’re doing a great job 👌🏻
Greetings from Spain 👋🏻
@@mfixingcars thanks man! 🙏🍀🇮🇹 you too! Love your videos! Greetings from Netherlands 🍀
Nice work , love you alfa Romeo Chanel , on of the best in entire world ❤️
@@automaniacs98 thank you man!! I appreciate that 🙏🍀🇮🇹
nice work !
@@un.bekannter.halunke273 thanks! 🍀
Just found your channel because I’m looking for information about my car (I have a Spider 939 since this year). And by chance I recognized the village were you recording your videos (I also live in the same city).
My compliments, you’re doing a great job with those modifications and it’s a very beautiful car! 👌🏼
@@Ree1968 thank you very much 🍀🙏 By any chance you drive a Bianco Pastello Spider? I spotted one 2 times in town.
@@939driver mine is black with titanium 19” TI rims. I also saw a white Spider some time ago but don’t know the owner. Could possible been the same one.
Its refreshing to see how much you love your car.....😂😂😂😅
@@flyboya340 hahaha got that Alfavirus bro 🍀😂
He is much worse them me. My 159 does not look as good, although it is still in pretty decent condition. But I did spend 4.500 euros on it in a year, so... 😂 Although, 1.900 euros where just for the set of wheels and two set of tyres. Plus I was hunting for original parts all over the world. Have a new set of clutch as well...
Nice work man! I love how you take car about these beautiful Alfa Romeo, and also you are inspiring!! 😊 I want to ask, did you bought some spacers to keep the car not too low!? I can see those metal pieces in your shocks, or is just packed with Bilstein?
Thanks
and keep going 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
@@francykr8 thanks a lot man! I appreciate that 🙏🍀 No, the Bilstein shocks are just how they came from the box. Luckily they sit perfect and not too low. Cheers
@@939driver thanks for the reply 😉 cause I would to stance my Alfa Spider but scared to go too low...your is sitting perfectly 😍😍😍
@@francykr8 yeah it is sitting just right imo. Still very usuable
You betrayed to the Elina :) We want more Elina content! I like your working style nice and clean. Next time, please share the torque values bro. Btw, I wonder why did you choose the B8 rather than b12? I highly recommend change your tires to Michelin PS4. Trust me, you won't believe how soft your car has become.
@@emresancaktaroglu6430 Elina content coning soon bro 😁 and thanks for the tip! 🙏 I went for B8 because I already had good springs and I didn't need the adjustable rebound.
Oh....mine came with aluminium set. No wonder I was wondering why there are two different brake hoses. Good work!
@@elgdisco thanks my friend!
Wow that's a great video, very detailed and inspirational!
BTW, just curious aren't the shock's fork supposed to be tightened when the lower arm is loaded (i.e. with the car's weight) so that the lower arm bushing is not stressed?
@@FoxOkinawa thanks man!! I appreciate that. The fork can be tightened like this, but the top mount bolts should be tightened under load
what calipers are you running? loved the video
@@matkinsss8378 thanks a lot! 🙏🙏 Brembo calipers with 330mm Brembo discs and pads
it`s looks amazing. Perfect tiny job. I`m just curious your professional idea about spacer. I think your wheels can looks better with spacer.
Thanks man!! I am personally not a fan of spacers, they add some weight and you run more risk with hitting the wheel arch
6:25 What type of torque wrench is that?
@@DashCamSerbia it is a BGS Techniq torque wrench with insert pieces
@@939driver Thanks.
@@DashCamSerbia you're welcome
Awesome work mate !!
With all the upgrades etc, has the 0 60 time made any difference ?
@@jami7772 thanks mate!! 🙏🙏🍀 Not checked the 0-60 time yet. But would be nice to find out haha
Hi, I would like to ask what brand of Upper control arms did you use? I have used firstly TRW, secondly LEMFÖRDER. But each after around 500-1000km started to make some crackling noise. The sound is not coming from the ball joint, but from the silentblock itself. It does this cracking noise when going over bumps on the straight road. What can cause this issue? I replaced the control arms 2 times in a row now. I set up the control arms in the same position as you when tightening the bolts. I tightened them to 70Nm. If you have any ideas, or you have encountered it yourself, then please share the ideas. Thanks!
@@Alex-xf7fe hi mate, I used Delphi in my upper wishbones in the 159 and they are perfect, no squeeking sounds. I did do an allignment after the install. For my Brera I now also have the same and so far so good. I do have to get an allignment. 🍀
You need to juck up the hub to the normal ride height (as when the car is on the ground) and then tighten them to the specified torque settings. You can measure the distance between the center of the wheel and the wing arch, while the car is on the ground. Then when you jack it up, lift up the hub so the distance is the same, and then tighten the bolts. Otherwise, the bushings will not last very long.
@@DashCamSerbia I did the same thing here. It started the crankling noise after 500-1000km. So I’m going to buy a new one again I think…
@@Alex-xf7fe Hmm. Where did you buy the Lemforder ones? And for how much?
@@Alex-xf7fe I can recommend the Delphi ones. I believe they are even recommended by Alfa Workshop in the UK.
Looks good 👍 but I see you jumping a bit 😃
@@serpentcrown thanks bro! Haha jumping? Where?
@@939driverjust joking…because of the B8 dampers
@@serpentcrown hahaha
