In this episode I am flying my FPV drone in the Northern Iceland, in a fjord called Skagafjörður! It was freezing cold that day, -17c but thankfully not much wind so we where able to make all the flights.

You should teach the downhill ski circuit drone pilot what to do. I can watch yours and not even think about how high up or any motion sickness. This weekend was the downhill ski competition in Garmish-Partenkirchen and I was so nauseous watching him follow the skiers, I almost had to run to the bathroom. (Absolutely no chance I’m pregnant; my youngest/7th child is 22.)

I loved the second flight. Stayed in a wonderful guesthouse on the other side of the river for a few days some years ago.

Love the horses, too; I know they're bred to withstand the cold - my own horse prefers the warmer weather, which is not surprising as he's a Lusitano and lived his first 7 years in Portugal so he's not built for snow!🤣 And I don't think I've ever seen donuts as big as those!! Looking forward to the next flight.

Very nice to see it with all the snow. I was in June 2022 in that region with a photography trip, we went to Drangey to see and photograph the puffins. That was very nice. Greetings from the Netherlands.

Fantastic flight, from the icefalls on the cliffs, to the mist rising from the ocean, to the steep mountainsides. Oh, and don't forget the horses. I hope they are doing well.
Everything is covered in the equalizing blanket of snow. It must be a bitch to get the color balance right on the camera.

About 2:00 it looked like a steel target next to the water on a tripod. When my family had an apple orchard we give apples to the horses. I wonder if the horses have a wind break.

I'm now following your youtube channel as I admire nature and its wonders such as volcanic activity, plate tectonics and so on... I even had a tropical coralreef lagoon in my living room where I grew live tropical corals, but I want to pursue with cold marine water species.
Iceland for me is very special and I always though of it as a magnificent mysterious island, the Land of Ice and Fire, the Island on top of the world (the first movie I saw in a cinema, when I was living in Kobenhavn Denmark, studying and learning also Danish). Also for me Iceland will always be the land from were one enters to the centre of the earth (Voyage to the centre of the earth, my favorite Jules Verne book along with 20000 Leagues under the sea) ... I even tried to get a job in Iceland for some time ...
Anyway its nice to know you, even if at distance and watch your magnificent videos. Many thanks and now to the Volcanoes and the entrance to the centre of the earth🌋🍄🦄
