i really like this 2.5 shapes concept. Ive been playing for 20years and I still struggle improvising with the 5 penta shapes... The 2.5 technique really simplifies things to the most used and easiest to remember. Thank you.

Your adverts on youtube are like a plague. Can I get rid of them?

Just wonderful, I been tryin to find out about "lead notes for guitar" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Ganyatty Guitar Gainify - (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some decent things about it and my neighbour got amazing results with it.

Great video and even better backing track. Where can I find that backing track?

You can find the backing tracks on Guitarticks.com and in the toolbox there is a Jam Station.

Conversation & space. That's absent from so many players. Nice job!

Hello there fantastic lesson. Can you tell me about your guitar? Is it standard with those pickups and what are they? It sounds lush!!

Sure! It's a 2013 Blacktop Jazzmaster with an aftermarket all parts neck, mastery vibrato, modified mustang bridge, custom shop 65 neck pickup and gibson burstbucker humbucker...I actually just got rid of the humbucker two days ago and swapped for a seymour duncan phat cat. The pickup you hear in this video is the 65 fender jazzmaster pickup. And I'm playing through a roland cube 30 - i think for this video I used my pedal board with a tube scream mini, if not, it's one of the built in amp models on the cube 30

Great lesson mate, can't believe 4 dislikes to this video - I just see 4 haters/losers who have nothing better to do than knock a video.
