It is great to see the senator pointing out the discrimination against men. When it comes to domestic violence people do not talk about the physiological violence that women commit against men during relationship breakdown and family law disputes. This violence usually results in depression and suicide that is at pandemic levels amongst men into days society. In fact violence, whether domestic or street violence affects men more than women. The problem is our media which is run by feminists don’t want to highlight that because the truth goes against everything they have being saying for the last 5 decades. From the data made available to the public, this campaign appears to be misdirected, inefficient, and/or disingenuous. The only measure of success it seems to have garnered is the acquisition of public wealth and public influence for your organization, and the social engineering for some purpose wholly separate than reducing violence against women my any notable measure. Notice when asked about the "violence against women is common" she quoted instead a statistic about how people disregard "partner violence" not "violence against women". This is great. He is making people base their actions on empirical evidence and it makes them so uncomfortable. It's a rare thing these days. I'm not sure enough institutions have someone who is prepared to put actual evidence ahead of a chosen narrative and poles about attitudes.
Right now it's Covid season and the calls on Facebook to protect women from domestic violence are pretty ridiculous. It would be so easy to frame it in gender neutral terms. But that's not how we do. Feninists are holding us back from true equality because what would they do if we had it?

The best they can come up with are really, really weak on analytical skills.
That guy is a legend. He deserves the Purple Cross. Who would hold these terrible people to account if it wasn't for him?
Senator Lionhelm 😍 I pray for him tonight and that God will enlarge his influence and territories
You need to share this
I love this guy!!! Australia you guys need to. Pay attention to this
Senator Lyon is at the helm!
Vote for this man for world president!
Can we (non-Australians) borrow him once in a while?
Seen a few vid's with this man and he's a glowing light in a dark world.
Red breathed a huge sigh of relief when the questioning was over, we could use more discourse like that in the U.S.
Holy shit. If only all politicians would be this sharp, hard working and methodical we could all sleep our nights in peace. Must be one in a million.
Im all for stopping it at the start: by punishing women appropriately who lie to, manipulate, and abuse their husbands on a daily basis. The vast majority of men who become violent in their homes do so because it is the culmination of years of unwarranted chastisement and misandry from the women in their homes
Senator Leyonhjelm is a beacon of sanity amidst a sea of irrational feminism. Great respect.
Tip for the "I can take it in notice" lady.
Maybe being all evidence to the meeting rather than taking it all on notice in the hope everyone would forget.
"did you abuse your wife?"
"id like to take that question on notice"
Love the way he handles this, we need him here in here in the USA. He'd make a great president
she's completely unprepared, and incapable of defending her stance.
Hard to defend something that you know is bullshit
You can tell its an Australian video due to the 240p upload. Took them 8 weeks, but they finally uploaded it!
Does anything actually get resolved here? He's asking the right questions, but the committee seems to be ignoring massive amounts of factors to a pretty serious issue.
Amazing that a senator can be forced to make the OBVIOUS statement that beating women isn't a good or desirable thing.. just amazing!! And shame on the woman that implied that he might not believe that!!!!!
Notice when asked about the "violence against women is common" she quoted instead a statistic about how people disregard "partner violence" not "violence against women". Considering how people brush off partner violence against men I wouldn't be surprised if those numbers were more about that (e.g. I'm sure he deserved it).
We need this guy in the US!
This both cheers me up and makes me sad
After watching this video my first thought was that these folks made a phone call to the WHO as soon as they left to inquire as to whether the WHO can include Gender Inequality as a factor in their next report.
This is great. He is making people base their actions on empirical evidence and it makes them so uncomfortable. It's a rare thing these days. I'm not sure enough institutions have someone who is prepared to put actual evidence ahead of a chosen narrative and poles about attitudes.
This senator is bad ass MF, brilliant, GREAT, GREAT MAN !!!
If NSW Sen. Leyonhjelm ever meets US Rep. Trey Gowdy it would create a paradox called “logical government”
And violence against Men and Boys is what....?!?! Just ignored.
Right now it's Covid season and the calls on Facebook to protect women from domestic violence are pretty ridiculous. It would be so easy to frame it in gender neutral terms. But that's not how we do. Feninists are holding us back from true equality because what would they do if we had it?
1) he's not an enemy. He's only acting like one. Similar to a Drill Instructor who pushes his recruits to their limits or a good friend who argues with you.
2) Even though there are now men on the panel, the Senators methods and demeanor did not change. That's a good sign of character and honesty.
3) Part of a governments job is to consider the hypotheticals. To consider EVERYTHING as a means to protect its citizens.
I think everyone with a brain has been in support of equality for the last 70 years. But to pick and choose the statistics one gathers is not a road to *continued equality*
Great work Senator.
can i say to the police when stopped , i will take it on notice..
If you need to explain when it's a yes or no answer questions means the question caught you.
A confident and docile gaze in their eyes as they assumed the hive had already taken care of any tricky legwork.
This guy so correct and professional
I have to take that on notice
To those watching from outside Australia this senator is one of only a few voices of common sense but for the most part these children that he's talking have taken over the narrative which is what you see being propagated in the Australian media.
this guy is brilliant
All I heard was : I take the fifth and decline to answer, on the grounds that it might incriminate me (or my agenda).
I love watching this guy dismantle all of the social justice and gender equality proponents. Why is it that EVERY one of these subject matter experts have NO clue on how to answer his questions. He gives them advance notice on what he is going to ask them about and gives them the opportunity to send a reply prior to their testimony. Then he literally dismantles their premise and makes them look like idiots. WHY oh WHY is this Senator more informed than these "experts."
My father was nearly killed by his wife. No one cared. If it happened today, no one would care.
Very sharp.
He did his own homework.
He didn't just rely on someone else's report or ideas.
