      Tina, you might want to consider that as a result of this 'me too' movement women are now going to take a dramatic hit as more and more companies stop hiring women because they are essentially dangerous to have in the work force, take for example a company having a male employee who has been there for 20+ years, knows the job like the back of his hand, works very efficiently, doesn't loose anytime off because he has his periods doesn't have a bad attitude and can be ask or told what to do at anytime without any problem, then the company brings in a couple of females because the government told them they have to, the first thing that starts happening is they loaf on him and avoid lifting anything heavy expecting him to do it for them because they are ladies and if he was a gentleman he would, and when pay day comes they expect the same pay as what he gets, and then comes the rumor that there is a promotion in the pipeline, those women see him as a major threat that has to be removed and the next thing you know there is a false accusation of sexual misconduct and the women will be believed without question or proof and the company is now forced to sack there best employee, and then the company starts going downhill because they now have personnel who can't perform.

    I love how he just refuses to address the child in the room. I don't always have the strength to do that, in fact I think I almost always retort and get trapped into a pointless argument.
    Stay on point, don't insult, don't let others derail the debate/conversation. I fking love this guy, can he come work for the US senate?

    It's a very well thought out line of questioning. Basically gets her to state that she doesn't believe that their operations would in any way be hindered by having men work there, and then has her admit that - for no discernable operational reason - her office is staffed almost exclusively by women, implying that,
    A: the office isn't interested in equality, it is interested in cushy jobs for the ladies;
    B: there is probably illegal gender discrimination in their hiring policy;
    C: As the office is staffed almost exclusively by women like her, it is unlikely that the focus is on actual "equality" and highly likely the focus is on getting nice things for themselves.

    One could sense the misandry of the interjecting woman/women. Another question you might have asked is; 'Of the women on the committee, how many are lesbians?'. :) Absurd that at a time of such female systemic advantage taxpayers fund a portfolio having to do with the interest/welfare of women.

    "Unpaid work" is an interesting way to describe being supported by a partner and Welfare, especially given that the vast bulk of a man's income is spent on other members of the family - willingly in most cases. Does it encompass all family duties done by either partner? Is that part of the conversation?

    We have to stop this division, violence against women or men, doesn't matter who perpetrates the violence the fact is all of us should be able to go about our business without being accosted in any way. The sooner we join together and say violence against any person regardless of gender or sexual preference is not acceptable then the sooner we will have equality.

    "Their ability to save for retirement " lets look at that, if they were married and stayed home or worked part time, they would enjoy the benefits of their husbands nest egg, and if they separated, they would be entitled to at least half of his super. If single they would have the opportunity to work full time on the same pay rate as their male counterparts doing the same work......,unless their a stripper, then they'd earn more than the men strippers as a example.
