Montage Dragon really encapsulates that cursed tech feeling.
It does tbh. It’s janky, but it’s somehow functional, and leads to those big, flashy blowouts

For me it was basically the same. MAN I saw that Montage Dragon wrecking havoc amongst some meta Players and thought: I want to have the same Dopamin-Kick so Im gonna build this irl and I did and regret nothing. Alos the secret Yubels I bought... jeah :D

I was a Goat format enthusiast but since you started with the channel (and I discovered Karpath's neo-spacian deck) I started playing Edison format. Congrats and keep going with the amazing work ❤

@@Zuczid The Gate Guardian suggestion as an level 11 inclusion has also interested me but I am yet to try it. Haven't actually tried Montage Dragon/Monster Mash yet but its a deck I like and will buy cards for if I don't have them.
Love you channel, personally i dropped competitive one year ago to focused in fun and play yugioh tag force 6 in japanese. Even i feeled for a long time that I wasted money and time with yugioh (Which is true), but with edison was the only format that i could top in a big tourment (I'm from Argentinian, playing ygo here sucks). Also i played your rhinos deck in tag force 6, with the mist valley cards, it generates and incredible card advantaged thoughout the duel.

Been watching since around the 700/800 subs mark, because I love your approach to decks. I have always played MD with that exact same attitude - I would rather lose with a goofy, hilarious deck than win with some overpowered expensive meta nonsense. Anyone can win with snake eyes, but winning with a deck where every monster is one with a vegetable name (primarily Corn) and every spell/trap is plant support is golden! Long live those who would rather be duelists and deck builders than bullies and cheap-winners, and long live Cursed Tech!
PS - are the "not gren" Maju cards a thing in edison? Because it's quite a fun build doing a deck that can spam out a lot of decent monsters with effects, use the effects, and then swap them into a massive Maju beatstick. 🤣

@@Zuczid question. Im new to synchro stuff. I saw a deck profile wherre someone used a combo of 2 tuner monsters to make a monster that said 1 tuner + 1 or more non tuner. How are they able to do that since it said 1 or more non tuner but they used 2?

Do you think the Edison format should be updated? I know that the unique way that it came about established it’s ban list via a timestamped, as opposed to any sort of conventional balance. Do you think a new list bringing in some newer archetypes with heavier restrictions to fit the Edison format philosophy would benefit the format in general?
I think it would be fun to add some stuff and ban some silliness! I personally wish nimble sunfish was in edison and also key mouse!
