Just ordered my Liberty Z 48”… should be in next week. Thanks so much for your video!
Thanks man, love all your videos. Keep up the great work!!!!! ;)
I appreciate that! 😁
Nice mower, thanks for the review looking forward to more action out of this little guy
Thanks Anthony
Super cool mower keep us updated
Will do Tony 👍
I think the reason it blows towards front and back is because it needs a mulch kit. Maybe just mulch blades will work with the cap they made you. For comfort I've seen a video where the guy installed 4 springs with washers at the 4 attachment bolts of the seat with longer bolts. Been wanting to try it on my Ariens.
Great review.
Thanks Charles!
Really good video 👍like the mower , may get one? Another toy for you to play with 👏👏as for the boots , I’m a cat boot man but yours look so well made so I may be going treat myself, getting to really like your channel! Problem is I get nearly to the end and the music plays and my eyes get tears in them ,I worked with my father who had dozers and showed me the way in life , he’s gone and I miss him every day , I never thought 1 man in my life would change my world now he’s gone 🙏kev
Thanks Kev!...The boots are really well made and I do recommend them...you should seemed when I am putting in those pictures at the end 😰🙏
I bought the 36" and love it. Very solid machine and well built. So nimble, stable and the controls are precise. For a homeowner with a large yard, this is a great option. It's also light and compact, with a low center of gravity and big tires. I like this because my yard has small hills.
Enjoy your new machine!😁
Going to order myself a pair of boots now!!!
I do like them 💪
Just watched the complete video! I’m in the market for a liberty z 61 inch. I want to put the chute blocker on also. I think they make some sort of baffle to stop the dust coming in.
Second, the engine choice. I cannot decide between the Briggs PXI or the Kohler pro 7000. I can’t find much info on the Briggs. I just wish they still built them with the Kawasaki.
Definitely like my Kawasaki on my 72" Bad Boy Outlaw!
After one year of use what are your thoughts about the mower? I just bought a new 23’ Liberty Z 42” with the Kawasaki engine yesterday, I pick it up next week after the dealership gets it prepped. There’s hardly any reviews for the 42” on RUclips I guess because it’s newer. I asked the dealership yesterday about zerk grease points/fittings and was told everything is sealed and there’s no greasing necessary. The owners manual shows zerk greasing points for all size’s except the 36” deck. Can you please verify that yours, the 42” deck does or doesn’t have zerk attachment points, and if it does what grease do you use. Thank you for your feedback. R, Eric
I do like the mower, I only use it for trimming and edging around trees, fences and such...it's hydraulics are very quick and nimble...my only criticism is the lack of any type of suspension which cam be quite uncomfortable when traveling from area to area between cutting. Mine has no fittings ...
I ordered a 52” liberty z with a Kawasaki on Friday and was supposed to get a confirmation text. I called back Monday to check in on it and still no word.. you’d think if somebody called you up wanting to spend $6k+ you’d call them back!! 🤣 the lack of communication is off putting to me so now I’m thinking of looking into Bad Boy again! Change my mind?
Unfortunately nobody seems to care to call you back no matter how much you are going to spend 😕
What!!! No arm rests? I run an older model that has arm rests. I would have a problem running that without arm rests.
The 52 inch liberty rides nice and smooth with it's bigger)wider size and bigger tires. The springs on the seat seem sufficient.
Are you still liking it? I'm thinking about buying one this year.
Yes I do, very quick and responsive with more than enough power...My only complaint would be the lack of any suspension.
One thing Thats been talked about a lot on Utube is sealed bearings on the spindles ,what about the spindle bearing on your ,it’s an important issue I think ,They put a grease nipple on the shafts you can pump grease in there all you like but because the bearing are sealed the grease wont go in ,so it’s a bit of a manufacturers folly ,you should look in to that issue ,jimmy australia
Yes, it can be an issue for sure...luckily this one won't get too many hrs because it's strictly being used for trimming.
Does that 42” deck have 2 blades or 3 blades?
2 blades
thanks
I'm sorry my fat finger hit the 2 instead of 3...it has THREE blades 😁
Nice looking boots shame they dont make large sizes.
I do like them....maybe gorilla tape 2 pairs together 😁
@@southernhomesteadtransformatio I wear size 15 EEE and they dont go bigger than 13
@@wolfpacva Wow! That's all I can say 😁
@@southernhomesteadtransformatio WE HAVE FOUND BIGFOOT ?
@@southernhomesteadtransformatio hard to find shoes sometime cant be choosy
What size tires are on it?
20x10 rear 11x4 airless front
Is the rim 8 or 10? Says 8 in their website but those look like 10s. Got one coming Wednesday just wondering cause I like the look of those ones
@@danredman6823 Rim is 10
Cool that’s what I was hoping thanks!
Another thing you can try is lower your tire pressure in the rear tires to around 8-10psi and that will help absorb some of the terrain if you haven’t already done that.
The disappointment in your voice when you realized it wasn't a Kawai.
You picked up on that Chris! I surely was disappointed...but I have no complaints with it so far 🤞

I've been looking for a while and am still very indecisive on what to buy. I haven't seen anyone complain about a Scag yet though.
@ChrisJones-yt8zp my big mower is a 2016 Bad boy Outlaw and it has been trouble free ...
@@southernhomesteadtransformatio I only have an acre and the lot is 100 feet wide. My house, shed, and some landscaping around it. I'm thinking this exact mower might be the right one.
