- Well this lot was a bit of a PANDORA'S BOX! We are out on an overgrown city violation lot with the TMC Cancela TWF-180 mulcher and we need to get this lot MULCHED DOWN! Not sure what we are going to find in here but let's get started and FIND OUT!

Hi Dj. I was thinking, when I was a kid, we lived on a large property. And across the street was a large lot, aka Pandora's Box type. On our property we'd spend HOURS cutting trees and brush back, and cleaning up the street a couple times a year. And we did it all by hand. That work took hours and days to complete. Imagine what kind of gift your mulcher would have been way back then. Pandora's box cleaned up really nicely.

This is a nicely set up mulcher. So many of the free yard grass cutting people use small machines and really struggle to cut rubbish like this property. Using a mulcher does the job so much faster and so much better.
Seems like that Cancela eats pretty good. Certainly won't be needing to back drag it too much to achieve a fine finish. I'm looking forward to seeing more videos of it in action.

That machine almost vacuum the stuff into it and out it pops…all shedding and mulched in tiny little bits. I’m super impressed . I like the heavy duty bar on top and the fact that it doesn’t take a lot of up front space too.

Grew up in an area that had few to no trees; then through working on it trees grew. Now guys are running these beasts as there are too many trees. That chippin is great!

Two things. One I've got a design tweak suggestion, and that would be a crossbar about half way up the push bar assembly. This would keep juvenile trees, or large bushes, from sliding up and getting stuck between the mulcher housing and push bar. Two as far as sharpening the teeth. You always grind the anvilled or unfinished side. This is almost always the flat side. It takes off the burrs and nicks, and allows a flat surface so you don't have to try to keep an angle or end up rounding off the corners of the teeth. Hope these observations, and suggestions help.

I almost munched Pandoras box one time when I was drunk but thank GOD my buddy walked in and stopped me.. He said the last guys breath never was the same afterwards....it was close.. Apparently I do stupid things when I'm drunk... Thank GOD for good friends
Every time I watch you with that cutter head, I am truly impressed at the job it does. On the weed eater issue. Happy to see that it is not just women who get stuffed around by servicemen. I too wish they would say at the outset what the time frame actually is.

That Cancela is a monster. Nothing stands in it's way.
Nature always win at end, cancela or not. Here in Croatia everything is like staged when get jobs like this, not always the lowest bidder get the job. This is extremely costly.
Here in Quebec the rocks would kill that mulcher... but nice on flat land!

I put super hard arc weld on the skid plates. Did that in my woods mower too. Saves the wear plates

I'm shocked that there wasn't more trash around the edges of the lot. I would've thought that litter bugs would've loved to lose their trash in a lot like that as they passed by. Though it did look like there was at least one pair of shoes that got thrown around.
