    Im glad you addressed that lots of great players say they do things that they don’t do. Its so confusing for a new player like me.

    Pre set is the best thing I’ve done instead of trying to take the club back on a wide arc and then set the wrists at the top. Your instruction is world class. Thanks.

      This right wrist angle is unbelievable actually.. the angle at P6 just before impact.
      Ive been experimenting around with this. I can’t wait to practice more abs show people this.
      It’s an area where people know a bit about the position but don’t know they are 20-30 Degrees off the zone.
      New Drills and info go coming

      I have the Hack Motion but have never seen anyone use it on the right wrist. Could you do another video on this ? Sounds like this is what you describe with these angles at P6.

      Yeah we have to be careful what top players say they do. And we have to be careful about a lot of instruction out there as well to be brutally honest.

    Hi Craig - great video, I also saw this Tommy video. My question though is about controlling low point. In my head, I feel like the more lateral shift (i.e. movement) through the downswing, the more difficult it will be to have a consistent low point....so wouldn't having less lateral movement result in more impact point consistency? (unless you can somehow move laterally the same distance EVERY time, which would seem impossible). What are your thoughts on how this lateral shift impacts low point control? Thanks in advance , Dave

    • @CraigHansonGolf
      @CraigHansonGolf  5 месяцев назад

      Lateral movement is one of the key factors in solid ball striking.
      4-6 Inches is the PGA Tour average.
      We actually dedicated a complete series to it on worldclassgolf.com

      Thanks for the quick reply. Been trying to teach my wife how to play golf. She now has a chicken wing finish. This might cure that chicken wing. I will have her try this swing method.

    More evidence of "Real VS Feel"
    I can't really explain my swing when I'm swinging well. I can only explain what I did when I'm swinging wrong.

    So through the ball do we still do the PGA Tour player release shown on one of your previous videos?

    • @CraigHansonGolf
      @CraigHansonGolf  5 месяцев назад

      i believe i showed you a feel in this video the feel of the right arm being under the left more compliment another a move. This is a feel.
      The club still releasing past the body the left wrist will still move into the flexed position like previous videos 👍

    Ehh I don't know. To me it looks like he's definitely initiating the downswing with that hip move like he says, but the weight shift certainly brings him laterally forward. The key is that he's not actively trying to move laterally, it's just a byproduct of good hip mechanics, I think that's what he's trying to communicate. Having said that, theres definitely some feel vs real going on though. just my very unqualified two cents 🤣

    • @CraigHansonGolf
      @CraigHansonGolf  3 месяца назад

      He’s got 10 inches lateral shift ….. ? And he’s telling everyone don’t slide your hips.
      People try and somehow try and and explain it for him….
      10 inches of lateral shift

    The common thing I see with great players is that in P8 their arms are extended and you can see the last 3 fingers of their left hand in the face on view. Doesn’t keeping your left arm on top block that?

    • @CraigHansonGolf
      @CraigHansonGolf  6 месяцев назад

      No. It’s about enhancing the feel setting the right wrist angle. The hands will always rotate. They definitely don’t need to over rotate.
      More players need a big angle 📐 in the right wrist on the way back. Just rolling the wrists over is a death move for 99% of golfers
