Or when he claimed his campaign never met with the Russians, or when he claimed the meeting in Trump Tower with the Russians was about adoptions. Or when he claims that tariffs are making America rich, or when he claim that tariffs aren't taxes.

Trump said in campaign, he went to the best school or schools. I face palmed. Anybody can at least drive to two schools, so you can say you went to more than one definitively and then leave out the part were you were cased by campus security.

And it really is not only a lazy defense, it's an ignorant one as well. In a court of law, you need more than testimony under threat of perjury in order to hear a person's testimony, they need EVIDENCE, which Cohen brought in in spades. That's what witnesses are most good for: directing prosecutors to where the evidence is so they can present it. If they knew what they were doing, they would attack the evidence he provided rather than his character. Or perhaps they know that won't help at all and they're just kicking as they go down.
