It's easy to mistake the gigantic aquarium at the beginning of the ride for a video screen. Knowing it is a huge, wall-sized aquarium with those elaborate themed pieces inside is very very cool!

Florida’s Manta is a B&M flyer, this has more in common with the California Manta which is also an LSM launch coaster but made by Mack instead of Intamin

They didn't even try to theme this ride. Just tramp stamped Manta and said "enjoy this alleged water theme coaster". One would think with all the money this country has they could do better.
Didn't theme it? Does all the rockwork and shipwreck theming the ride flies through not count? It's definitely rough around the edges and does look incomplete, but I feel the attractions the US SeaWorld Parks have added over the last few years are much worse when it comes to presentation.
Man it sucks that Manta at SeaWorld SD lost its originality cause SeaWorld decided to copy n paste this ride in abu Dhabi. Obviously this one is more intense but still no creativity
I definitely wouldn't even compare the two! They are complete different beings that are good at what they do. SD's is a family launch. THIS IS A WHOLE BEAST by itself.
Let me compare them Similarities: 1. Both are launched 2. Both have a similar color scheme Differences 1. One is made by Intamin, the other by Mack 2. One feature 3 launches, the other features 2 3. One has inversions, the other one doesn't 4. One has intense ejector moments, the other one has weaker pops. 5. One has more whip and intensity, the other is more gradual for everyone. So they're very different
@@sr.chi7741 Ik they are different in a way, all I'm saying was that SeaWorld's intention was to replicate SeaWorld San Diego's manta in a more intense ride experience. I also know it is a different manufacturer. All I'm saying is that it takes the uniqueness and originality from SeaWorld SD because it looks very similar and even has a similar tunnel scene before the first launch. You can easily look at both these rides and say they look very very similar and that they wanted to take the idea of Manta SD and put it in Abu Dhabi
Looks like a surprisingly powerful little Intamin. Didn't expect it to be so aggressive.
little?
