This coaster is deceivingly thrilling. It surprised me. I expected a family coaster and got something closer to cheetah hunt.
Yes, the launches are decent, and there are some nice pops of airtime 🙂
The only thing that terrifies me since I have anxiety, it’s the seat thing you pull down over your head and straps you in, it’s a little lose which makes the ride more fun and scary

Manta is still very popular after arctic rescue opening. Hopefully seaworld gives this ride a retrack by the end of its service life instead of scrapping it.
The line was longer for Manta when we visited lol
@@XtremeCoasters manta has a much higher capacity than all the other coasters and it still has a long line which just shows how popular it is. I still prefer manta over arctic rescue.

@@Master-rn9ot Manta is 14 years old which means it has operated for about half its service life. Most parks opt to scrap their rides altogether but I think seaworld should retrack it because it is very popular and the park cannot build over 30ft in that area. Manta is a great ride for being 30ft tall with great launches and fun interactions with guests. The only replacement I can think of would be a vekoma flyer since they can stay low to the ground or another launch family coaster.

I went on there when I was 10 and I screamed
I went on when I was 11, it was more fun than scary after the second time. But yes it was intense at first but after the second time i loved it!

It's nowhere near the fastest coaster we've ever ridden, but this is a great coaster for all ages to enjoy 🙂
