Can you add a 20x1.60 tire? It there a space for it? I know that the bike comes with 20x1.30 tires

It would be nice if Mint had an actual online store you could order parts from. I see nothing, just dealers in Sing, HK etc. selling whole bikes. Overseas, how do we het spares for their Parrot Birdy copy?

Here in BKK had the opportunity to buy a Green Mint recently but I was not fond of the color and I don't much care for disk brakes on a bike!....
my Pikes Gen4 is still a month out yet as I had to order it out of China on Ali Express......gives me time to order the necessary
parts for mods/upgrades I need to do once I get it I guess!

Yeah, Pikes is still more premium than mint trifold I think! As long as we enjoy our rides and our bikes make us want to ride more for better health isn't it? 😊
      Enjoy cycling! 🙂

Thank you to you both for the video, but what is your conclusion? 虽然我也听得懂一点点中文, 我还是不太清楚因为生意不大。 but if you could write what you say or you recommend, it would be of great help, just now i am trying to buy one of these.
3Sixty vs Pikes vs Mint vs many others, not easy choice. Muchas Gracias , Obrigado, Merci.

I guess if you like the smallest fold/ footprint go for pikes/3sixty, if you like external 9gear go for Mint.. it's more on the colours scheme for me and the external gear that is why I chose mint..

    • @asianfly88
      @asianfly88 Год назад

Besides the ease of access with external gears servicing , it is also the ease of changing a rear flat tire. Theres more things to do when changing rear tires or inner tubes with internal gears.

So far I have ridden it twice only. First was 30km jurassic mile ride.. no issues with folding and external gear.. only one (stock) pedal broke towards the end of 30kms but the seller replaced it. I guess stock plastic parts are not sturdy enough esp for long rides. I heard in other brands they also upgrade it straight away. Couldn't compare to other trifold coz I haven't owned any.. maybe those who own other brands can review this bicycle in more details..

Budget good bike. The handle post is higher than pikes, sixty 40cm good for tall people of 1.86 more like me, no need to change to M bar issues .climb slope more option it a decent 9speed trifold .although the folding width look wider than other due to the external 9 speed gear. A few upgrade to the tray wheel.,light aluminium pedal, brake change to v. Weigh will reduce. From 12 to 11.5 overall good buy, easy to access to transport compare to bifold 20inch. I get rid my 20inch if you guys just use for pcn ride.

Leave the disc brake system cable actuated, upgrade to Litepro levers, it works better than stock.
140mm disc rotors are sufficient enough in braking power/modulation.

I've been riding this bike for about a month ruclips.net/user/postUgkxwC0IIeIomGQVeBWg-kKJaToZkLEFIA2W and a half now and I think it's fantastic. It helps me get to work on time every day since I'm able to fit it inside of public transportation rush hour. The price is great too, people are always shocked when they ask me how much I paid for the fold up and I tell them "200". It's easy to fold and installation when it ships is insanely easy. All you have to install when the bike arrives is one foot pedal, everything else is done for you. I do recommend you carry some sort of wrench to tighten any loose screws on the handle bar and seat whenever they get a little bit loose. Other than that I think it's a fantastic bike. Easily fits in the home, can fit inside a car trunk and can even fit in subway rush hour.

I have it in green. Folding wise isn’t as compact as the rest. The fact lies in the hub spacing being 100mm Front / 135mm Rear.
    .
Crius Trifold folds a tad more compact than Mint. Being 74mm / 130mm hub spacing.
    .
When folded, right side is heavier and handlebar protrude out(high rise bar beware), front wheel is lifted higher(compared to crius).
You may use litepro/Aceoffix extender but I find Muqzi balances its centre of gravity better.

Wow thanks for the technical info ☺ I'm pretty new to this bicycle thingy and really not very familiar with the details.. I did buy the extender and 82mm eazywheel though! It's more stable indeed! I knew that the fold is really bulkier than the rest of trifolds available but it's fine for me.. the price point and fold for easier commute (in case it rains) is what I'm after comparing to my previous bifold bicycle ☺
