Law's reaction to Luffy is especially funny when you realize that for two years, he had a mistaken measure about Luffy's personality because the first time they met Luffy was deadly serious and beating the hell out.of World Nobles, and the second time they met his brother just died and he was basically in a coma. The Best part about Luffy and Robin is that Robin "Gets" Luffy more than anyone else. @gauthamvadlamudi3500 3 года назад +1

@@Bogglemanify of course, the anime for a serialized manga itself is intrinsically disadvantaged to have pacing issues.
Except watching weekly, while binging, anime is a pretty great experience as it has great voice acting, BGMs, animation, cinematography making Oda's story alive.
And while binging the unnecessary fluff which spoils the pacing can be skipped. we always have our weapon for it (Ctrl+Right arrow).
Only when it comes to weekly consumption, I can't imagine how excruciatingly slow anime can be.
BUT, I'm glad I caught up just before entering Wano. The Animation is taken to next level and Wano's character designs are heightened by the animea artstyle.
MOST IMPORTANTLY, many manga fans said Wano manga is super fast at times (being so condensed and jam-packed) and needs little bit elaboration. This is perfect opportunity for anime to use it's obligation to add fluff, for A CONSTRUCTIVE PURPOSE and add additional value to the manga in pacing dept.
However, to be frank, those moments that felt rushed in manga are expanded and feel lot better in anime when coupled with new animation and all, But there are still issues as at times anime becomes so slow as they adapt 1/3rd of a chapter for an anime sometimes.
Hence, I suggest if anyone just entered wano, either read manga weekly or watch anime once in two weeks.
      BOTH ways are equally enjoyable.
Manga provides beautiful handdrawn artwork of Oda and highpaced, fresh story ahead of time.
Anime adds its flavor of extravagant animation, vibrant colors and improved pacing in Wano, and brilliant heart-moving Voice acting and BGMs but will be 1 year behind in the storyline.
Both are great ways to consume one piece and it all comes to personal choice.
For me personally, I prefer BGMs and voice acting in Japanese...
Even though I read the corresponding manga chapter after every 2 or 3 episodes, I play BGMs and character's voices in my head while reading manga. However, It becomes problematic (especially for one piece) as I imagine one piece world though Japanese audio and reading manga in English feels unnatural to me (for one piece) as I bonded with those characters with those speech patterns. Also I don't know kanji to an extent where I can read Japanese version of manga and my Japanese vocabulary only helps 60% of the time.
Anyway, since I'm predominantly an anime watcher who watches 2 episodes back to back once in two weeks and read manga chapters after corresponding to the episodes I catch up.
Based on all my experimentation of different methods of consumption of one piece, this is what I feel is the best way, at least for me.

For example, Gandalf's exact power set is best left mysterious, due to it's rather fuzzy nature and it's roll in that story. Usopp's special equipment though starts to undermine that "down to earth" nature of how he's won a lot of his fights, in that he has to come up with some way to pull out a win using only the limited tools we already knew he had going into the fight. It's their creative use we cheer for. So, by revealing the entirety of his toolkit now (with a few bonus exceptions explicitly called out as "this one's a secret, I only have 4 that won't grow on the Sunny so I'm saving them for an emergency") we set up an expectation and an understanding of just where his limits are to make future desperate fights actually feel amazing when he manages to pull a win out of those tools.

Despite the fruit's name, that's... not even a little bit accurate. I've never heard of an operating room where things can instantaneously swap places at a thought, or where body parts can be arbitrarily cut and stitched together in arbitrary ways with each other and random inanimate objects and stay perfectly functional no matter what, or where gravity can be selectively disabled on a per-object basis.
The only real similarity his fruit has to an operating room is the fact that its powers create a room from which to operate. And the name.

Punk Hazard is the Long Ring Long Land of the New World. A slow-burn yet fun setup for a GREAT arc. Even Aokiji “coincidentally” appears on both.
You’ll learn to appreciate it more when you read Dressrosa because Law and Doflamingo’s character dynamics’ one of the best in the series. Plus, I strongly believe you’ll probably change your opinion about it after you reach the current arc.
