Jimbob, can I just say, in the nicest, sweetest way, you are showing people with down syndrome or their parent/carers that with the right love, support & encouragement, you can do whatever you put your mind too. You can read, chat away & entertain people, have a good understanding of your wants/needs/desires etc. You go to your clubs, trying to make a movie. There's no stopping you! ❤ I love that you love a cheeky little drop of alcohol here & there. You have so much to be proud of! I hope your Mum isn't hiding any more secrets in her pockets 🤧🤧 I look forward to your vlogs. Keep being awesome!! Xx
Thankfully attitudes towards people with DS have changed & there is no reason why they can't have the same upbringing than any other child. My late brother was very behind in his years mentally but still could read and write, able to pay for things and know how much change he should have etc. He even lived on his own in a flat as a adult. Unfortunately we do have some (hopefully not many) people in society who do take advantage of vulnerable adults or ridicule them. Jim Bob has a lovely sense of humour. Think it will be nice for him to also do some filming.
