I always appreciate it when the staff go the extra mile to really piss you off. I get a warm fuzzy feeling every time I hear the leaf blower strike up 😁👍
Your insurance is invalid if you are under the influence. If you crashed into their fence they would expect you to pay for the damage. What a ridiculous thing for the campsite to expect tou to do
You guys get my vote for Vloggers of the Year 2023. Yet more excellent content highlighting the high standards we have to endure from many UK councils who haven't got a scooby about customer service. Hope you have a fabulous Christmas, looking forward to more in 2024 🎉🎄🎅🎁🥂🍻
You are in the right whichever way you slice it. 1) You have had a drink which could invalidate your insurance. 2) something could happen because you had had a drink. Just because its on private land doesn't make it less dangerous. and 3) Most importantly to me. You have gone out for the afternoon to enjoy yourself. They have no business calling you up shouting the odds about coming back and moving the motor home. They will have to accept their mistake and decide what to tell the other customer. You managed to stay more calm than me. Well done
You were absolutely correct in refusing to drink drive. The stroppy council woman is clearly in the wrong job, and if she worked in the private industry she would have been long gone, but unfortunately councils generally allow unacceptable behaviour from their staff without taking the appropriate course of action, and consequently you end up with the stroppy woman always being stroppy until her retirement. Have a great Christmas and new year guys (including your lovely doggy).
Hi Debra, Thank you so much for this comment and we agree. There is no way we would have driven. We hope the people who we were supposedly inconveniencing see this and understand We wish you and your family the most fantastic Christmas 🎄
Sorry for late comment but I’ve only just found your channel which I’m thoroughly enjoying. Husband and I are both retired cops. For drink driving purposes whether the land is privately or publicly owned is neither here nor there because the matter turns on access. Legally it is considered a road/public place if the public has access on payment or otherwise. The camp site squarely meets the definition and is covered by drink driving legislation. Your driver responsibility instincts were absolutely right.
Hi. Welcome to our channel, we are happy you found us. There was no way we would move our vehicle, despite people telling us we should have. We hoe you continue to enjoy our videos. Have a great weekend in the sunshine
I can’t imagine ANYONE intimidating you, Claire. You seem confident and…ballsy 😜 Aside from the drinking, you were out enjoying your day and could have been anywhere doing anything, so it was unreasonable for them to expect you to return pronto and move. The site looked deserted anyway! I find in my job that an awful lot of people are dense and don’t know their arse from their elbow and it seems that’s the sort of person you encountered there. At least the council apologised but I wouldn’t go back on principle. Hope you’re having a fab Christmas and I shall look forward to seeing your adventures in 2024. 🎅🏼🎄☃️
Hi How we missed you guys on RUclips ,I’ll never know !! We ache with laughing !! Love all your content too ! Playing catch up now on your channel , your just brilliant and very entertaining , keep up the good work , safe travels Gillian & Mark in Leeds x
This could have been easily solved, by always carrying with you, a full size cardboard cut out of Rachel Reilly. This can be placed anywhere to lure away, person or persons unwanted from your location. For difficult assignments, simple dress Rachel in her nightclub action Lingerie. Not only did Filey Council lose your plot, but they lost the plot, losing your plot. Pure Regional News Gold!!
Good on you for standing you're ground! Definitely a site to be avoided due to the staff. These people should not be dealing with the paying public, hope the Council sort the complaints out? Have a brilliant Christmas and I hope he 🎅 comes?
The final sunset pic was lovely. I used to go to Filey as a kid, now I live a lot further south but you woke a few old memories thank you. Have a great 2024
The offence of drink driving can only be committed on a road or a public place. As the camp site is open to the public, it therefor could be classed as public under section 33 of the criminal justice act 1972. Grey area? I would say so.
Private land to which the public have access is still subject to the Road Traffic Act. That neans that you can be prosecuted for driving under the influence in a pub car park, a retail park, a garage forecourt ir indeed a campsite. You may remember a couple of years ago, some drunken lads in a Subaru, hooning round a campsite whilst drunk and sliding over a couple of tents and killing some folk. They were prosecuted for death by dangerous driving and driving whilst unfit etc. just as if they had been on a public road!
You were correct to refuse to move your van, as can not drive on a caravan site under the influence. Although it is private property, they are still regulated by the highway code, cos they are classed as a public highway.
Hi Claire and Andrew , totally agree with you about the drink driving ! My mum, dad , brother and sister in law were nearly wiped out by a drunk driver many years ago , not pleasant 😕. Surely when receptionist told you which plots you could move to,she should have noticed the choice she had given had already been booked by the other people 🤔. Never mind there’s always one t**t where ever you go 🤣Loved the photos, music and wave effects at end of vlog . Really quite emotional ( and that’s not being sarcastic! ) just beautiful from a lovely funny totally decent couple who has made quite a few people laugh this year but also done some great filming of some great places . Wishing you all the best for Xmas and 2024 xx
Hi. Crikey, sounds terrible We used to enjoy adding the beautiful shots in and kinda got misplaced so will be doing it again. Really glad you have been watching us this year. Got lots of great stuff coming up, hope to see you on the road in 2024
What a great video this is, you guys are so laid back normally you could tell how wound up you were and rightly so. Loved the entire video, epic final pictures and video at the end. Just beautiful.
Hi Tony, We always appreciate you watching and commenting on our videos. We enjoyed making this one as we love Filey (have you been?) The receptionist was terribly rude! We wanted to make an ending that suited the location Enjoy your evening
If we finished work on a Friday we used to phone up a campsite to book for the weekend. We regularly went to this campsite and the man would not answer the phone after numerous attempts, however he answered straight away from another number and complained that we booked on the day. The site needs heavy investment and the showers were dated when we went a few years back with flaking paint from the ceiling. You should try centenary caravan site in Filey, it's accessible to Filey centre and beach.
Hi Sean, Yes we agree. We think the fantastic location is keeping this site going as there isn’t much else….. We have been told about Centenary campsite so will definitely go next year 👍👍😊😊 Thanks for watching this video
As a local in Filey, I know there are ‘no camping’ signs around the grassed area of the Brigg, BUT lots of vans stay over night there with no consequences.
That's one to avoid. Campsite sounds really badly organised. You're right to stand your ground on the drinking, wouldn't want to explain to an insurance company if you had an accident.
Hi Bob, Thanks for watching We are booked into CAMC Southport site next year, we saw your recommendation 🚐 Wishing you and your wife a fantastic Christmas
I use it a lot because of its location, but it is well known for being poor for service. It annoys me every time I go....it is very overpriced for poor to average facilities.
We had the same problem in February this year. We went to a CL site (5 pitches) and we needed to stay for 28 nights and when we booked it, we were told we would be the only ones there the whole month so we could pitch wherever we wanted.. When we set up, the owner came over and said someone had booked that pitch from the 19th and could we move on that date. We said yes no problem so on the 19th I asked if we still needed to move and she said yes. I asked which pitch out of the other 4 and she said any one. So we moved up one pitch. She then came over and said someone else had booked that pitch from the 21st! After all that, neither turned up and we were on our own the whole month.
Hi. Thanks for watching our video. What a palarva. It seems some sites are just unorganised and that really can be avoided! We wish you many happy future trips (A 28 day trip sounds good) 👍👍
We went to a nice campsite recently that I'd think you and the dogs would like. It's called burton Constable holiday park and it's on the grounds of burton Constable house (which is discounted when staying). There's an on-site dog friendly lakeside bar that serves Madri plus other drinks. There's a few nice walks around the park.
Great attitude guys, in over 30 years of campsite use I have only ever experienced 1 rude site owner. Don’t let it put you off. (Mind you we have never been back even though the views and location were fantastic, we now use the campsite down the road 😂).
you kept very calm.... i would have been marching round there having a little chat with these idiots... good on you. i enjoy having motivational chats with people 😂
On the site website. Customers must ensure that their property is secured and fully insured for any unforeseen eventuality. Surely having an accident whilst intoxicated would mean not insured 😮
I guess the people that wanted your pitch must have been regulars and friendly with reception. You must be on their favourite pitch. Crazy when the site had plenty places to park up.
Nowt like festively minded folk, remember don't drink and drive u may spill ur valuable beverage. Some council employees are special and hold a special place in one of my orifices which will remain top secret. Happy Christmas to you both enjoy
We used to go on here twice a year but not been for 2 years now for same reason staff need abit of people skills and they seem to book the water logged pitches out first an old man got stuck in his camper and he asked them for help and they wasnt interested i ended up going to the garage and buying 2 tow ropes as i couldnt get close enough without getting stuck myself and managed to get him out and then they didnt want to give him another pitch i think he went to another site
Hi. Thanks for watching The original pitch they gave us was muddy, someone had been stuck there before and it wasn’t anywhere near long enough for a MH. They must have known that. Such a shame. I don’t think anything will change, sadly We wish you a great day
Aww Filey is my home town. I live 5 min walk from the Bring. So sorry to hear about the poor service you’ve experienced- I have heard this before about that site - so unfortunate.
Hi you 3 love the video. I agree with you for standing your ground. Remember the times in Filey with the bands Andy. Merry Christmas to you all Barbara and Brian x
Hi, nice you meet you. We have only just come across your channel. Wow what a nightmare. You really kept your cool. Thank you for this video. We are looking forward to seeing others from you. Have a great day Chelsea and Mike. New subs 😊
Hi Chelsea and Mike A very big welcome to our channel and we are so happy you have found us!! Thanks for subscribing ☀️ Have a fantastic evening and we hope you enjoy our other silly videos
It might not be illegal on private property, but it is very irresponsible. If you did drive and hit another vehicle on site what are the chances of your insurance paying out - NIL
Hi, we haven’t heard of this site but will absolutely definitely take your recommendation 🚐 We love this coastline and can spend hours and hours walking the beach Thank you very much for watching our video Wishing you a very merry Christmas
@@Stchristopherofatlantis we go around 15 times per year there. It's at the other end of Filey. There's also a dog beach all year round. Merry Christmas to you 3.
I’d have been effing and blinding going through that - what a terrible site - definitely not a site your viewers will be rushing too - fair play - Merry Christmas to you both xxx
Hello friends, this was terrible for you, we looked at this campsite when we were thinking of staying in Filey, glad we didn't now, although from the photo footage the walk to the sea looks fab. We stayed at the south side of Filey where there are 2 campsites on the cliff and a 10 min walk down to the sea which was also great. Cannot be doing with rude people. We have been motorhoming for just over a year and up to now have not come across anyone like this on any of the sites we have stopped at. Great video, I will wish you a Happy New Year now Christmas day is passed, take care x Julie and Tony x
DON'T move your van as if you hit some property or another van or a person your insurance will not ans can not cover you .and you could as a worse case do time in prison .
Hi both - firstly happy Christmas, really enjoy your channel ❤. You were right to refuse to move your van, yes technically private land you could drive but the road traffic act does say do not drink whilst under the influence of alcohol. If you had move the van and lost control you could have damaged your van/another van or what if you had hit someone walking ? Irresponsible of staff to expect you to move it. X
hi what you should have done was contact the police to verify where the law stands on drink driving on private land and if they had told you no then at lrast you would have had ammunition to throw back at the site manager, security etc
after 20 years of motorhoming the ability of campsites to trest their customers like a massive inconvenience never ceases to amaze me, wouldnt get away with it in any other industry its like they are doing us a favour! Especially for nyself being young, ish, I get treated like a probable criminal lol so rarely go on sites these days
I do a lot of urban camping as I go horseracing or to the football or little seafront laybys and carparks as im in Devon and like to fish, ive got a 5m steakth camper which makes it easier@@Stchristopherofatlantis
Hi guys. In the back of my mind I think the law around drink driving on private land changed, after a member of staff who'd being drinking the previous night killed a child with a tractor on an farm kids could visit. It was on a farm near Leeds. Google it I'm nearly sure that's what happened..merry Christmas btw.
Hi Mark, The public have access to this site so although privately owned the public are wandering about on it. Thank you for watching Have a fab evening Merry Christmas 🎅
Yeah that's what I meant, sorry I didn't explain it properly. Now you can be prosecuted for injury or damage on private land. Caused by drink drinking, due to the case I mentioned. Either way you did the right thing. I wouldn't move my caravan after drinking. Not a chance.
Hi.what a nightmare. Like Filey but had a look at brigg site and thought it looked awful glad we didn't stop. Have you ever tried piebald inn in Hunmanby for a stopover. Dont know how much it is but pub is lovely and good food over 30 different types of pies, and dog friendly. Nice village with transport into filey.
That’s hilarious that you weren’t even on the pitch! 😂 my argument would also have been to the stroppy staff that you had paid for your pitch for your stay and if it was there error well that’s tough on them and their mistake not yours! I hope you left a review so others are aware….
Just getting chance to watch some backlog of videos…..great start funny as buck channel please keep the videos coming🤣 We stayed at the site one New Year and it was a tired but great site😊
Heres a maths lesson for you. Private or public land, alcohol and driving/riding = no insurance and danger. Encouragement to do so = criminal offence Add those together and you have a lawsuit potential
Happy new year both, hope you had a good Christmas too. Dont worry about the misrable staff just do what you want and take it easy and enjoy yourself and the misses 🙂
What a palava! We are thinking of Driving to the east coast of lincolnshire after boxing day to get away for a day or so, but i dont think well be on a site. Probably park up at a layby at night and beach park up at day. Might be a wet n windy one though! Keep up the great content 👍
Another great video ,definitely wont' be going to that site . You two are naturally funny , some of the comments had me belly laughing. Merry Christmas and a happy new year
We’ve stopped there, it could be such a brilliant site but they don’t seem interested, I think it’s because people still go despite it’s faults because of its location, such a shame, merry Christmas 🎉
Hi guys Merry Christmas and Happy New Year we’ve been goin to the Brigg campsite for ten years I know what you mean just depends how you catch them but like you we will be back we love the town and the scenery. We have loads of photos like the end of your video just keep taking the same images every year, did you get to see the Fistive tree lit up looks a great site safe journeys for 2024
Hi hi. Yes we saw the tree in the harbour made with lobster cages, looked awesome. 🎄 We love the area, really love it. Thank you so much for watching our video. We wish you the most lovely evening
A boss of mine drove his vehicle on a campsite under the influence and was reported and arrested and banned,so private or not someone didnt like it,dont do it.
Well done you two for standing your ground ( on the hard standing situation) Ha!😂and congratulations on St. Christopher of Atlantis No2 looks so comfy and cosy and very posh. The seaside camera shots at the end were spectacular, Merry Christmas to you both and to Pabbers from us near Skipton. 🎄🎉🍻
Over the past 40 years of using campsite; it is getting worse by every year that goes by. One campsite had been using for 30years changed hands and told me that i could not turn up without a booking --- i am stood there being told this at 8pm in a field with around 6 other tents and enough room for 50 in total LOL I left and never gone back - prefer to sleep in the car tha give miserable camp grown owners my money; they obviously dont need the income .
Hi, I think they have found that you're making a video, and they just go crazy. Yet, you're giving them a good review. Once they see a camera, it just puts their back up!
Great video, It still an offence to drive a vehicle intoxicated on private property if it can be used by the public., You are right to not drive the vehicle. They could even call the police after you have safely moved the vehicle stating you were in charge/driving a vehicle whilst intoxicated.. stay safe
Love you two, so funny. Im old school i prefer my seasonal pitch at least i know who the miserable buggars are so can avoid them. Have a lovely New Year.
Ring the police , tell them what happened . Maybe they would talk to them , but dont hold your breath ......... They are breaking the law telling you to move your van , inciting you to break the law . Anything happens they are accomplice to breaking the law .
Another brilliant video, I wouldn't have moved as it was their mistake. As regards the law drink driving on private land is not illegal, however because campsites have the public staying drink drinking is illegal and you can be prosecuted. All the best for 2024.
Hi. Driving a big MH after beers is juts not something we want to be doing at all. We believe we shouldn’t have been encouraged to! Thanks for watching out video. We wish you and your family a fabulous new year
@@Stchristopherofatlantis quite right and nor would I, hopefully they take some action to at least coach the person and put them on a customer focus course.
Don’t you just love a Rottweiler on reception, well handled you two. Agree with previous comment that you must be vloggers of the year for my books, clever and funny. Have a good un cockers 👍
You made the right decision, it may be private land but its used by the public and would have made you breaking the law!! I'd have stayed in the pub all week lol 😂
Hi. We are glad you agree, we just didn’t feel it appropriate …. So we stayed out for another few (ish) drinks…. Well it is Christmas 😂 Thanks for watching our video
Little Hitler's, they are all over the place, we came across one Camping and Motorhome Club Coniston July 2021, can spoil you're stay, great video Happy Christmas to the three of you from the three of us Graham, Tracey and little Ted 🎅
Hi Graham, We haven’t been to the Coniston one yet. We just got in with our evening and had a great time! Truly wishing you a fabulous Christmas, we really appreciate all your support this year
Merry Christmas Guys, Let us know next time you go, get in touch with By The kerb and then three vans with Barnsley Blokes who dont mince their words & take no poop will sort em 😂. Legally if the site has barriers that allow access/egress and have to be opened then no offence otherwise Road Traffic Act applies as public have implied access
well... I guess that is one site I'll never be booking LOL.... You know what, I dont drink but I think I might have done just to P*** them off- specially since I bet they were charging double figures per night for the pitch. Spot on Filey. Let me know when you two are on "The Voice" cos I'll be sure to get tickets lol. Merry Chrimbo and Happy year to you both and Pablo- Kenny
Sit still Claire for gods sake.....Always causing bloody trouble ...Jeez ! Kudos guys, well done for sticking to your guns.Merry Christmas to you both and looking forward to next years entertainment.
Well guys if I get a job with the camping and caravan club next season you’ll get first class service from me. Park within the sticks, no you can’t reserve a pitch (wot a laugh), don’t drink in case I need to move you 🤣🤣 love it, more than my jobs worth 🤣 take care have a great Xmas and best wishes to you both. Great attitude guys, in over 30 years of campsite use I have only ever experienced 1 rude site owner. Don’t let it put you off. (Mind you we have never been back even though the views and location were fantastic, we now use the campsite down the road 😂).
Hello. It definitely makes a difference, we have been told of other Filey campsites now so we will try them!
you kept very calm.... i would have been marching round there having a little chat with these idiots... good on you. i enjoy having motivational chats with people 😂
😂
Have a great evening guys and thanks for all your support this year
You kept your cool guys, and highlighted the idiocy of some situations that can occur on campsites, safe sober travels..👊🙏👍🏴🚌
Hi. It was a crazy afternoon really, and in the end we were on a different pitch anyway 🤪
Thanks for watching and we wish you a great evening
@@Stchristopherofatlantis thanks guys, one of the main reasons we stick to cl sites, no power egos on farms lol just puddles..👊👍🏴🚌
On the site website. Customers must ensure that their property is secured and fully insured for any unforeseen eventuality.
Surely having an accident whilst intoxicated would mean not insured 😮
We agree.
Thanks for watching Martin. Have a great day
I guess the people that wanted your pitch must have been regulars and friendly with reception.
Hello. Happy Christmas to you too
We used to go on here twice a year but not been for 2 years now for same reason staff need abit of people skills and they seem to book the water logged pitches out first an old man got stuck in his camper and he asked them for help and they wasnt interested i ended up going to the garage and buying 2 tow ropes as i couldnt get close enough without getting stuck myself and managed to get him out and then they didnt want to give him another pitch i think he went to another site
Hi. Thanks for watching
The original pitch they gave us was muddy, someone had been stuck there before and it wasn’t anywhere near long enough for a MH. They must have known that.
Such a shame. I don’t think anything will change, sadly
We wish you a great day
I’ve just spent a wonderful half hour reading the trip advisor reviews, classic
Hi. Incredible scenery, terrible staff. We will return (if they let us!!) 😂
Aww Filey is my home town. I live 5 min walk from the Bring. So sorry to hear about the poor service you’ve experienced- I have heard this before about that site - so unfortunate.
Hi hi. We just love Filey. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, the beach, cafes and pubs!
We hope to bump into you on our next visit
Hi you 3 love the video. I agree with you for standing your ground. Remember the times in Filey with the bands Andy. Merry Christmas to you all Barbara and Brian x
Hi guys, yes I do. Good memories Barbara and Brian. All the best to you all, Merry Christmas x
Hi, nice you meet you. We have only just come across your channel. Wow what a nightmare. You really kept your cool. Thank you for this video. We are looking forward to seeing others from you. Have a great day Chelsea and Mike. New subs 😊
Hi Chelsea and Mike
A very big welcome to our channel and we are so happy you have found us!! Thanks for subscribing ☀️
Have a fantastic evening and we hope you enjoy our other silly videos
It might not be illegal on private property, but it is very irresponsible. If you did drive and hit another vehicle on site what are the chances of your insurance paying out - NIL
Hi, Thanks for watching our video, we agree and didn’t want to move anything anywhere for that reason
Wishing you a fantastic day
Well done on the un-coil of your ehu wire ;). Great vlog guy's. Have a super Christmas looking forward to your next year's vlogs. All the best Ray 👍👍👍
Ray, thank you from bottom of our hearts for supporting us.
Hope to bump into you in 2024
Awesome, enjoyed everything, thank you for sharing. 😊
Hi, Thanks again for watching
Hiya you two, there's better camp site at Filey.
It's a family run small site called Centenary.
It's a five minute walk to beach and 10min to town.
Hi, we haven’t heard of this site but will absolutely definitely take your recommendation 🚐
We love this coastline and can spend hours and hours walking the beach
Thank you very much for watching our video
Wishing you a very merry Christmas
@@Stchristopherofatlantis we go around 15 times per year there.
It's at the other end of Filey.
There's also a dog beach all year round.
Merry Christmas to you 3.
15 times, that’s an amazing recommendation then. Wowsers sounds like a no brainer
I’d have been effing and blinding going through that - what a terrible site - definitely not a site your viewers will be rushing too - fair play - Merry Christmas to you both xxx
Merry merry Christmas to you and your family 🎄 thanks for watching
Ger thi sen on the crows nest.
Brilliant little camp site, I've had a static there for over twenty years.
That sounds like a good shout. Hope to bump into you there 👍🚐☀️
Hello friends, this was terrible for you, we looked at this campsite when we were thinking of staying in Filey, glad we didn't now, although from the photo footage the walk to the sea looks fab.
Hi Julie and Tony,
How are you both? Thanks for watching our video. Wishing you the very best new year x
@@Stchristopherofatlantis we are good thank you , take care x
Seems like the receptionist needs some additional training in customer relations / sacking
The service was the worst we have ever experienced.. and we were a pain, just chilling out 🚐
DON'T move your van as if you hit some property or another van or a person your insurance will not ans can not cover you .and you could as a worse case do time in prison .
Hi. Yes we agree. We should never have been told to move anything! Have a great afternoon
@@Stchristopherofatlantis merry Christmas happy new year to you and pabst.🎄🎄🎄
Some great sunset pictures at the end, shame the break was spoilt by bad service!
Hi. We enjoyed our time there and especially at the beach. We loved it
Merry Christmas to you x
Knowing you dont drink and drive even if on private property is whats called being very wise!...Funny how sometimes we do have to make adult choices !
Hi. How are you? Agreed 👍
Have a great afternoon, hope it’s not too windy where you are
Hi both - firstly happy Christmas, really enjoy your channel ❤. X
Hi. MERRY CHRISTMAS!! 🧑🎄
We agree and we would never have moved it.. Have a great evening
hi what you should have done was contact the police to verify where the law stands on drink driving on private land and if they had told you no then at lrast you would have had ammunition to throw back at the site manager, security etc
Hi, Yes, but wouldn’t want to move the van after some drinks
after 20 years of motorhoming the ability of campsites to trest their customers like a massive inconvenience never ceases to amaze me, wouldnt get away with it in any other industry its like they are doing us a favour!
Especially for nyself being young, ish, I get treated like a probable criminal lol so rarely go on sites these days
Hi. Thanks for watching our video.
Do you stay roadside or pub stopovers? Can’t beat a good pub stopover 😂
Thank you for watching
Have a fab evening
Merry Christmas 🎅
Yeah that's what I meant, sorry I didn't explain it properly. Now you can be prosecuted for injury or damage on private land. Caused by drink drinking, due to the case I mentioned. Either way you did the right thing. I wouldn't move my caravan after drinking. Not a chance.
Hi. We are glad we agree. We have had some comments on here suggesting we should have! Eeek
Hi, we have heard of Piebald pub… they do loads of my favourite things … PIES
We will head there next year 🚐 🍻
Have a superb Christmas
I wonder... If you did drive under the influence of alcohol (even in private land) and if you had an accident would the insurance cover you?
Hi. Thanks for watching, we think most likely not
@@Stchristopherofatlantis Exactly. You made the right choice.
That’s hilarious that you weren’t even on the pitch! 😂 my argument would also have been to the stroppy staff that you had paid for your pitch for your stay and if it was there error well that’s tough on them and their mistake not yours! I hope you left a review so others are aware….
Hi. We had a great time but such a shame the staff were rude to us
We wish you a great evening
Just getting chance to watch some backlog of videos…..great start funny as buck channel please keep the videos coming🤣
We stayed at the site one New Year and it was a tired but great site😊
Hi. We are so glad you are watching our videos 👍😂😎😊 welcome to our channel. Have a fab evening ☀️
Heres a maths lesson for you.
Private or public land, alcohol and driving/riding = no insurance and danger.
Encouragement to do so = criminal offence
Add those together and you have a lawsuit potential
Thanks for watching
@@StchristopherofatlantisYour welcome, sorry for the typos, found your channel the other day and slowly working my way through your videos.
I would have reported them to the Police, and I bet your insurance would have been void!
Hi 👋
Happy new year both, hope you had a good Christmas too. Dont worry about the misrable staff just do what you want and take it easy and enjoy yourself and the misses 🙂
Happy new year to you!!!!
Thanks for watching our video 👍😀😀
What a palava! We are thinking of Driving to the east coast of lincolnshire after boxing day to get away for a day or so, but i dont think well be on a site. Probably park up at a layby at night and beach park up at day. Might be a wet n windy one though! Keep up the great content 👍
Hi, sounds fab, we hope you have the most fantastic time and enjoy the beach 🏝️
Thanks for watching
Another great video ,definitely wont' be going to that site .
You two are naturally funny , some of the comments had me belly laughing. Merry Christmas and a happy new year
Hi, Thanks for watching our silly videos, we are delighted we make you laugh. Keep laughing xx
Pity about them peski staff, council should be looking into that side of things for sure, guys have a great Christmas from me and fiona 🎄👍🎄
We hope they investigate, the site is in just a spectacular location ❤️
Thanks for watching
We’ve stopped there, it could be such a brilliant site but they don’t seem interested, I think it’s because people still go despite it’s faults because of its location, such a shame, merry Christmas 🎉
Hi. Yes we agree, fab location we just loved the sunrise walks.
Have a great afternoon
Hi guys Merry Christmas and Happy New Year we’ve been goin to the Brigg campsite for ten years I know what you mean just depends how you catch them but like you we will be back we love the town and the scenery. We have loads of photos like the end of your video just keep taking the same images every year, did you get to see the Fistive tree lit up looks a great site safe journeys for 2024
Hi hi. Yes we saw the tree in the harbour made with lobster cages, looked awesome. 🎄
We love the area, really love it.
Thank you so much for watching our video. We wish you the most lovely evening
But isn’t the campsite private so you can have a drink and move your camper ?
Hi, it was a council site with people wandering around. We felt it wouldn’t be a wise move
Have a fab evening and thanks for watching
Typical council, make it difficult as possible to contact them.
👍😂
A boss of mine drove his vehicle on a campsite under the influence and was reported and arrested and banned,so private or not someone didnt like it,dont do it.
We agree!! 👍
Should have come to Scarborough. The council have let the Filey site go to ruin and it's a shame as country park is lovely.
Hi Carole, Scarborough is on our list. Watch this space. Do you live there?
Have a great afternoon
@@Stchristopherofatlantis yes live there but up in Scotland at the moment.
Is it snowy?
@@Stchristopherofatlantis not where we are but it's very windy and torrential rain. Snow further up towards the Highlands.
NYCC are appalling - they simply do not care about, well pretty much anything or anyone.
Eeeek, this doesn’t sound too great!
Hi Judith.
We love the 🚐 it is so very cosy! Glad you liked the end shots. Hope to see you all in Skipton
Hi. Thanks for watching. This kind of service is terrible and we hate to see this. Hoping your future travels are sunny and bright
Hello we have just found your you tube channel and we thought it was great. We will keep in touch😎
Hi. Welcome to our channel and we are delighted you found us 👍 Have a great Friday
100% agree…private land or not…never drink or drive…crazy to even ask you to
Hi, thanks for watching. Our view is she shouldn’t have asked us to consider it.
Hi, I think they have found that you're making a video, and they just go crazy. Yet, you're giving them a good review. Once they see a camera, it just puts their back up!
Hi, the lady there didn’t see our camera and wasn’t around when we went into reception, maybe on her break! 😂
Thanks for watching
Permanent (non-seasonal)jobs are as rare as hens teeth in Filey. I don’t think this woman deserves to have one. Maybe a bit of retraining is in order.
Hi Julie. Thanks for watching. Have a great afternoon
Hens teeth in Filey😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂@@Stchristopherofatlantis
Private property or not, still subject to UK Law.
We agree and would never have moved it
Hi guy's, outstanding vlog as usual absolutely love the humour, looking forward to many more Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄. Enjoy peeps 👍😉
Hi Steve, Glad you enjoyed.
We wish you a fantastic Christmas and new year ❤️👍
Great video, It still an offence to drive a vehicle intoxicated on private property if it can be used by the public., You are right to not drive the vehicle. They could even call the police after you have safely moved the vehicle stating you were in charge/driving a vehicle whilst intoxicated.. stay safe
Hi, thanks for watching… it’s just something we would never want to do!
Well done stand your ground. Merry 🎄 Don’t let A/H spoil it!!!

What a beautiful ending to a frustrating time.
I think your insurance would agree with your decision not to drive.

Oh yeah, they’re so friendly up north, aren’t they?
We are a friendly bunch!!
Ring the police , tell them what happened .
Maybe they would talk to them , but dont hold your breath .........
They are breaking the law telling you to move your van , inciting you to break the law . Anything happens they are accomplice to breaking the law .
Thanks so much for watching our video. Isn’t it awful
We hope you have a fab weekend
Great stuff. I'd have done EXACTLY the same as you. Hats off and Merry Christmas 🎅🤟
Hello, Hats off and beers up!
Merry Christmas and thanks for watching
Another brilliant video, I wouldn't have moved as it was their mistake. As regards the law drink driving on private land is not illegal, however because campsites have the public staying drink drinking is illegal and you can be prosecuted. All the best for 2024.
Hi. Driving a big MH after beers is juts not something we want to be doing at all. We believe we shouldn’t have been encouraged to!
Thanks for watching out video. We wish you and your family a fabulous new year

Legally if the site has barriers that allow access/egress and have to be opened then no offence otherwise Road Traffic Act applies as public have implied access
Hi. Sounds awesome to us. Meet you in the pub 😃
well... I guess that is one site I'll never be booking LOL....
