2025 will be my 8th Welcome to Rockville experience and 2024's was easily my favorite thus far. I already reserved my RV rental for that week (I check in early on Wednesday for pre-show and then depart Monday morning), and I'm jumping right on early access layaway/camp slots next week. They expanded the layaway plan in 2024 to 8 months versus 6 months to pay them off, so hopefully they expand it again to 10 months since they are releasing them earlier this year. I like having a cheaper monthly payments per year.
I think it's usually more about which bands are available (or already touring) during the time period of the shows. I'd hope that the Slayer camp is available during that time. I'd love to see them again, even if it's just 50% of the band.
My guess would be that bands will be announced in the Fall. The bands for 2024 were announced in November last year. Ticket pricing is usually on the 2nd tier at that point, but I completely get wanting to wait for bands to be announced. We go each year regardless of who is playing.
I am with you. The way things like this go (for me) is the lineup is just not that interesting. RiotFest announced their lineup and if Rockville were to have that lineup... I don't think I would be excited. Sure, SLAYER is at Riotfest... just saying that I don't like buying a ticket for the unknown. Hopefully it is a great lineup!
I was actually about to post a reply with next years dates to your last Rockville review video. I should have known you were already on it (Great job as always). Just booked Tomoka State Park for camping and will be buying 4 day tickets and premium parking as soon as they go on sale next week. They can tell me who's playing later. As someone who's been to all 13 Rockvilles I'm to the point were I go as much for the badass party and good times as much as I go for the music Some lineups are better than others but regardless it's always a great time.
Got an RV spot (Red lot) ! First time going. Dumb question, but Blue lot says you HAVE to get there on Weds. Red lot is reserved site number and says arrive anytime. The email I got says camping Thursday - Sunday (and the site says Th-Sun under all the camping info). I assume Red lot can also come on Weds if we want? Thanks for all your videos, they've been very helpful. I hope for a great lineup next year! I am a little nervous about the crowds for a first timer, but it'll be an adventure for sure. If you pass by site #43 in red, wave to us. 😃
Camping has always opened on Wednesday and they have an event with live bands that Wednesday night. I’d assume the Thursday printing is an error. You can send DWP an email (their email should be on the Rockville site) and they can clarify.
Hey....so.... The reason we had our show at the sevendust show is we're actually in the festival world, and I am the artist transportation director for DWP. Thank you for all the coverage on us and WTR

Very cool! The cheaper monthly payments this time around are a huge plus.
Got the early Tix, my 17 yo and I are in there like swimwear 👌
Man, I hope F-ing Slayer is invited...

I really want to go back next year! All depends on who is going to be there.

@@ViewFromTheCheapSeats Thanks, will do! Did you get your camping spot today too? Does your email say Weds?
@@michelleconcannon7584 I’m not sure if we’re going to camp this year, so I held off for now. We did pick up tickets for the show though.

Hey! Way cool. Small world. Both are awesome events. We love to share the events that we enjoy. Hopefully, it helps to get more eyes on the events.
RV spots next week as well?
They didn’t say in the announcement, but they’ve had camping on sale at the same time as tickets in the past.
Glad 2025 isn’t Mothers Day Weekend
I think a lot of people will be happy that there’s no conflict next year.
