Well, this seems about perfect for the truly embarrassing number of random shooty fellas I've accumulated in both plastic and STLs. Definitely going to try this with my group!
I have sooo many bolt action figures but rarely get a chance to play. Its nice to see that this covers many theatres of war. It would be nice to have another a use for those minis and also to play some modern games.
Perfect! I’m working on some of their SAS jeeps and minis at the moment. The next narrative campaign is set in World War 2 (due for release end of April).
Wait! What? I thought this was a model building tutorial. Which kind of glue do I use to assemble the team? Will I need clamps? Green stuff? Should I magnetize the feet so I can swap the sneakers for ice skates?
Thanks so much! If you've ordered the paperback, drop me an email with proof of purchase to hello@tabletopskirmishgames.com and I'll send you the PDF for free.
Just pick up my copy and i love its rules! but i do have a question for equipment the suppressor has a perk called silent but dose not describe what silent dose idk if im missing something.
Hey, that's awesome to hear! Thanks for picking up the book. We've kept the core book simple but are expanding on the rules with Campaigns and one shots for those that want a bit extra. We've left a few of these little clues in the core rules ready for the expansions and house rules. For example, in the next campaign, Tour of Duty (coming this month) we go into detail on creating different sides using the Warriors, Enlisted, and Recruits. Insertion, Suppressor and Night vision rules are coming in later expansions but in the meantime you can make up your own house rules. We encourage you to make the game fit how you want to play it, and it's fun to create missions and rules that pre-empt these upcoming expansions. For the Suppressor, you could use it to carry out stealth kills in solo mode when playing a different era to the Ungentlemanly Warriors book. We are releasing monthly campaign expansions, one shots, and other free fun stuff as the game develops, so expect lots to come. As these develop, we’ll add a visual matrix so you can see what each new book brings to the table.
Made my order to be waiting for me when I go visit my family in a couple of weeks, cant wait for my PDFs to get here in the meantime so I can figure out what to print before I head out. Any suggestions for designers?
That's awesome, thank you! You'll want to print off a bunch of the Mission Team Sheets. You can make a new one for each Mission or use the same Team. I like to mix it up, so having a good amount ready to go is good. If you are playing the Tiger Blood campaign, the Platoon sheet is required, too. The quick references are in the back of the book, but it can be handy to print those off. Otherwise, we kept everything to a minimum with Rogue Warriors core rules, you have everything you need for each player on a single page, then the quick reference if you need it. Have fun playing!
Hey Mitch, I don't have too much experience with STL files, but can 100% recommend Anvil Industry for minis and bits, and Urban Scatter Gaming for terrain. Here are their links: Anvil Industry: anvilindustry.co.uk Urban Scatter Gaming: facebook.com/profile.php?id=100090282393876 Here's a SWAT team video for Anvil minis: ruclips.net/video/3PFyW-pRJ_I/видео.htmlsi=E6eW3KfpLrtgY1IV Here's a video showing off the Urban Scatter terrain printed by Stonebeards Forge: ruclips.net/video/tFCGmwo48nY/видео.htmlsi=fG1mAfERUElcTLJX I think there are a lot of indie creators producing some awesome looking minis. I need to research more and make a video but today I was recommended to check out Inxcountry. They look really good but I haven't seen them for real: www.inxcountry.com
How do you balance a game where one or both players take enlisted or recruit troops rather than or as well as warriors? Both extra types are shown but seemingly not included as options?
Hi, we released an expansion that focusses on playing asymmetric Teams. We used the Vietnam era as the narrative campaign to show off those rules, but you can apply them to any era or theatre. Here's the link if you'd like to have a look: tabletopskirmishgames.com/products/tour-of-duty-a-rogue-warriors-jungle-campaign-pdf-version
Thanks so much for your support! It’s available in Canada, here’s a link: www.amazon.ca/dp/B0CZJN97CH You can also get the narrative campaign there: www.amazon.ca/dp/B0CZV6DF74
Should the frag maybe do more damage? As it stands it can only do 1 damage for being hit (albeit to everyone in 3"), that's half of what a pistol could do to you. Maybe D3 damage? I just feel like it shouldn't take 6 grenades/RPGs to kill a man.
We definitely encourage house rules to change things like this to make it fit with how you want it to play. We imagine Warriors diving out of the blast, or ducking behind walls, that kind of thing, but you could definitely make them more damaging and 1D3 would be fun to try out. In our next campaign expansion coming this month, we are introducing artillery support and airstrikes that deal 1D3 or 1D6 damage, so it is going to quickly get more destructive!
That's great to hear! We changed the art for Rogue Warriors after some feedback from our previous game, Population Z. I'm more of a cartoonist, so for this book I purchased stock images/photos and used Procreate and Photoshop to turn them into a loose concept style, adding some paint effects and finishing touches to tie them together. Really happy with the result, and glad you like it too.
The core game is 2 players in a player versus player format. Our next narrative campaign (due to release end of April) will include some solo/co-op rules designed to play alongside a storyline that unfolds as the missions are completed. Thanks for your interest!
I came here to ask about solo/coop. Happy to hear that you are adding that to the game Lee and I look forward to checking it out!@@tabletopskirmishgames

Do you have any recommendations on manufacturer for navy seals & “Arab warriors”?
Wow!!!! Look super cool
But I got perplexed about the sniper rifle
If I hit a guy he take 1 damage or 1D3 in damage?

Does the Tiger blood book work as standalone or the rogue warriors book is required?
You’ll need the Rogue Warriors book too. Tiger Blood introduces Campaign rules and a 6 Mission narrative campaign.
The game looks really cool ! Who made the art? It reminds me about an artist I used to follow

This looks interesting and fun, how many players needed?
The core game is 2 players in a player versus player format.

Great! The solo rules will be designed for specific such as guard sentries in World War 2 or a hunter force in the Jungle. Going to be awesome fun!
