for knee pain sufferers its only normal avoid any exercises that will further aggravate the pain But this is proven untrue recently. Thanks for sharing easy ways to do knee exercise which is vital to recovery.
can you share this proof?
I came to give you my praise ❤ I was diagnosed earlier this year with arthritis.. went to therapy 1 time. I saw you and I have so much improvement from pain and stiffness. Thank you God sent one ❤
I am so glad you've seen such a benefit.
🙏📖🕯️🩸✝️🩸🕯️📖🙏
This is terrific! I've been using kitchen counter. Will order strap!
Great to hear!
Nothing beats sitting to stand! Love it more than before
I have horrible knees and joint problems the right exercises is so important for your body and pain
I had both my knee ligament injured, but I still had to use them a lot for daily life despite the doctor said not to move them a lot and no climbing stairs.
It's been months, I have no idea if they're already healed or not but to be on the save side I'm searching for workout that's easy on the knees because I should start doing workout.
You are truly a blessing! Thank you so much !
You’re welcome!
Thanks
amazing. I don't have arthritis but have permanent knee pain since I started fitness
What did Drs and imaging say? If everything looks OK then maybe because your quads, hips and hamstring weak. If an activity like Zumba (which can easily hurt the knees) you need to be sure to strength train.
@@RA_5000 I was exaggerating there lol. No more knee pain, was just my PT killing me on leg day.
@redrumax that's funny 😊 glad you don't have pain!
For the strong guys who have knee pain. Try pin squats and set the pins lower every 2-3 weeks
Thank you for this info! You’re such an inspiration!
You are so welcome!
You literally read my mind!!
Thank you! I do assisted squats at the gym, by holding on to a railing. Some days it helps the pain, some days it doesn't. But my issue is the IT band, and I really need to build up all the muscles in the leg. Building my quads keeps my kneecap in the right place, and squats do that. And consider me subscribed. Again, thank you!

You have GREAT helpful videos. I'm so thankful I found your videos! I've been binge watching YOUR generous educational and informative videos. 💞
Yay! I’m glad you’re here!
Thank you! I think I might’ve slightly damaged my meniscus a few weeks ago, I have an old knee injury that a slight pivot during leg press made it ‘pop’ followed by massive swelling and stiffness.
I’ve managed to get the pain an swelling down with castor oil packs and red light therapy, but am anxious to get back to building my quads asap.
Thank you for the information. This does work great
You are so welcome!
Thank u for sharing, it helps.
You are so welcome
Love You, Doc.
Thank you for these exercises
Excellent...!!
Many thanks!
Super thanks
Welcome!
Thank you
Welcome!
What about people missing some knee anatomy. I had two ACL surgeries. My right hurts the most, but both hurt. My right knee was a pettla graft, which hurts a lot to the point I take 4 Ibuprofen a day to keep the swelling down. The left was a quad graft that was has some scar tissue in it still since it is the newest, so it doesn't feel great but is at least somewhat manageable.
Ty sooo muuuccchhh!!!!
no problem!
Thank you! Exactly what I was looking for!
Glad I could help!

Hello Dr Alyssa
Many thanks for all your useful videos.
I am 45 male , I want to grow my leg muscles but I have bad knees and most of the exercises I find for bad knees do not include weight lifting .
What is your advice to get bigger legs with bad knees. Thanks
I have same issue. Did you find any answers?
Thank you so much
Still good to this day! Thanks a lot.
No worries!
I never realized the potential of using TRX with squats. I'm now thinking that the handles can help with one major limitation I have as an obese person, which is range of motion. I cannot go down to full range of motion, in part because of fear of falling, in part because of the risk/potential pain in my knees. But with the straps I could pull myself up if needed and support my balance,, allowing me to improve range of motion. I must try! Thank you for sharing!
I really love you, girl. God bless you
Glad you love the content! Thanks for watching!

Okay thanks
You’re welcome!
U really are a Healer..GOD BLESS❤
I suffer from cerebral palsy. The left side of my body is significantly weaker than the right one. When walking and bending I tend to position my knees towords the middle. I've found your excercises extremaly helpful in improving my walking (also squatting) but I am not able to control this knee rotation. Is squatting still safe for me under such circumstances?
You have many links but I couldn't find the link you spoke about for #2 option
How many times hall we do this and how often ?
Great suggestions! When you do the modified chair squat, are you working your quads more or your glutes still? All the recent squats that people do nowadays go down so low, are those to target the flutes more?
Do I use my thigh muscles to move up and down or upper back muscles
You have awesome legs! I'm looking to get gains with weights. Any ideas?
Be careful!!!😊❤
.....so, I seem to be missing that link to the device that hooks to a door or whatever to assist with squats. I'm sure it's right there in the video description, but I have male pattern blindness, so that's probably it.
Is this also advisable with a torn meniscus?
I need a knee replacement I almost have no cartilage so with every step I take it's very painful my knee swells up if I push it to much I still do things around the house
Thanks ! How about putting an excercise band around knees ? Thoughts....
Can be helpful too!
What if you have a torn meniscus?
I have metal in my knee - limited range of motion so squats difficult- suggestions? 😢
Leg goals 😍
Can u give me the suspension strap link separately here pls as I can find it
Here it is: amzn.to/44SXHDz
What is the link for the strap? I cannot find it.
Good advice. Great legs to show for it 👍🏼
Great info!! How many sets?
however many feel good to you- usually 2-3 sets tends to work well for people though!
@@arthritisadventure thank you
Hey how about the kneesovertoesguy
I have no link for strap. How can you get it?
Hi! Here is a link: amzn.to/3DPvdPY
My left knee needs to be replaced, which won't happen for awhile. My doctor says no squats because it's bone on bone. What can I do? I am afraid to do anything other than ride my bicycle
I would listen to the Doc because of the bone on bone maybe see if you can do pool exercises to strengthen the muscle
OMG I DO THE SEATED ONES😅
Man sieht so schön ihre Muskeln😊
Freut mich, dass dir das Video gefallen hat! Danke fürs zuschauen
I have arthritis in knees and fused ankle. Now I have been diagnosed with hip impingement syndrome that is non surgical. Ortho doc said squats and lunges aren’t good for me. Any suggestions??
Yoga ???
Healthiest option
Ask Why. Ask for regenerative options. And ensure you can read your own x-rays. Best 🌱🌸
@@P_Belle 😂
You have some really nice legs! Thanks for these tips! 🎉
So painful
Thank you
