I only wish they had redone all of Glenn's attack animations for his human form so he could become human after Magus dies since Magus says the curse is broken.
It would be a really good reason to kill him. I only did it once to see the disappointing ending. Not worth losing him since he is the only one that has the magic defense spell(magic wall).

Futgermore, Frog turns back to his human form if you beat Magus at the end of the game, so I’m pretty sure he’s talking about this version of frog, not the other version.

One of the things that chrono trigger teached me, is, that the perfect ending don't exists, you could not save all people, you can't save Schala at all, you can't undo the frog's curse without kill Magus, which way may be make Frog a solitary person at the end for his rest of his life. You can't Save Azala in his redemption at the last moment that the meteor is going to crash. It's a little sad but it's one of the things that make this game so great. Masterpiece.
When this moment happened I had to defeat Magus, strategically it was a bad move, he’s so powerful that he can make the rest of the game easier, and beating him was really tough as I hadn’t done any grinding or levelling at all, just progressed naturally, but I wanted the good ending for frog and after that scene I knew Magus had it coming.

Al inicio de este juegazo nunca pensé en vencerle, a pesar de la historia de Frog.... Pero es esa benevolencia de Frog al perdonarle la vida a Magus lo que al final hace satisfactorio no acabar con él.... Genios!!!

Se pone violento al pelear con Lavos y la madre de Magus, pero ahorita estoy pasándola de nuevo. Con Frog pase venciendo y después perdonando a Magus. Pero ya te digo, siempre hay detallitos que a uno se le van las primeras veces. Yo lo estoy jugando en mí ds en español exprimiendo el juego al máximo!!!!

Sean (Frog): Neither return Jimmy (Crono) nor Cyrus, vanquishing thee will. 2. The girls Susie & Riley (Lucca & Marle) both agree that even they defeat Jon, Jimmy won't come back.

The Frog that slays Magus will always remain Frog. The curse is broken for the "future" Glenn who won't be turned into a Frog, because Magus is dead.

In the ds version sparing magus still undoes the curse for some reason so it is possible to get a perfect ending

I did the side quest with Magus in my party, it's funny how he hides behind his cape when the ghost of Cyrus appears
Ironically he is easier when you fight him solo 1 on 1 and it is also the only way to get one of the endings if I remember right ;p.
probably because you get better stats at the second fight, while Magus doesnt change anything...
