- so yea started on the efi conversion for edd gasket. this was most defiantly the hard bit to sort out now i have all my trigger settings dialled in i can crack on with the rest of it :) let me know what you think guys

you really do live up to the name ignition advantages after seeing that distributor turned into something it was never designed to be just made it a whole lot madder top work as always
Great idea with the distributor as a sensor pick up and coil pack. Look forward to seeing the end design for to conversion. 👍💯

Clio 182/172 flywheel has a 'fat tooth' you can make into two teeth and a missing tooth. Giving you a 44-2 i seem to (hopefully) remember. That odd trigger pattern worked well for batch fire on the renix based systems, but is shit for aftermarket. Also the output from that vr sensor can sometimes fall over at higher rpm👍
That distributor rotor arm spinning without a cap made me laugh. Impressive solution you have there.
I like these videos where you go into depth with the explanation. What inlet are you going to use or is it just a case of finding something that fits and "bodge" it on?

If I remember correctly some of the r5gtt lads used an old skoda fabia inlet manifold. It wasn't a direct bolt on fit but was made fit with little work.
could you not build 2 pikups into the dizzy, or do you need the flywheel for accuracy
Have you looked into modifying a nissan cas to work in place of the renault dizzy

Would one of these be any good on a turbo A series engine? Basically I've got a clubman estate with a modified metro turbo engine in it still on the SU carb. I'm using a megajolt at the moment, but something a bit more sophisticated to account for coolant temp etc would be good.
