That Bb is just a way getting ready to go to the next key.We could actually go straight from C note to 5 of C# which is G# then back to C# and it actually sounds okay.Though i should say i always enjoy putting that Bb because that way even😍😍 the vocalist will notice that we are changing the key and also if you do that walk with the bassist mannnnnnnnhh it sounds so good.

Thanks man its actually the sounds from the keyboard. I use the Full concert grand and the warm backing bad and i just try to balance the 2. i dont really fix anything after i record.
Please can u do a tutorial on a pattern for modulation that can be used to modulate to any key of choice from a particular key other than taking a half/full step. Thanks.. And also a pattern for stepping down e.g from C# down to C

Welcome to the land of music Kj 😀 It's great that you know your major scales, you're on the right track. In terms of how long it will take you, it depends on how much effort you put in practicing. At the moment do you know how to turn major scales into chords?

They are two common types of sus chords which is Sus2 and sus4 Let’s say you are playing C major triad which is (C.E.G) if you take your 3rd(E) half step up it becomes C sus4 with these notes (C.F.G) If you take the 3rd which is (E) 2steps down the notes becomes C.D.G and that makes is a C sus2 I know this can be confusing written down like this but I’m happy to do a video on that and also showing you how to apply the sus chords.

I only use it from major to suspended, I haven't tried it with minor.

I’m going to create a course on that soon because a lot of people struggle with that as well but it’s always good to take baby steps.
