It’s a great camera to start a channel with. I started my first channel with the cannon g7x back years ago and the zv1 is way better than that camera. If you plan on switching out lenses then the zve10 is also probably the best starter camera.
Great video Kyle. Do you think ZV-E10 is good enough for art videos? (painting and drawing videos - mostly done with overhead camera setup). The zve10 is what I’ve been using as my overhead camera and it works great. The kit lens would be ok for it but if you had more to spend I would look at the sigma 18-50 f2.8. It’s helps using a zoom lens so you can get the framing that you want

Great video, but will we see a comparison between Sony zv 1 zve10 videos?
I will be making one soon. I did do a quick vlogging comparison in this video at the end if you made it that far
would you recommend this camera for photography?
Yes! Just finished a video on photography with this camera

I really liked that it has sound settings the Z1 and this one
The best review ever!!! I watch a lot of sony ZV e-10 coz im just own one of this and have no background in cinematography but this video helps me a lot!!
Thanks! Glad it helps
Good stuff man. You should take a look at the samyang 12mm f2 with AF. 🤙🏽
Great content and fantastic video. I'm buying a zv-10 - your in depth helped with my decision! I also subscribed to your channel. Really looking forward to additional videos. Especially ones featuring Sony Cameras. Thanks!
Awesome!! The Zv-e10 just started to come back in stock this week as well.
Thanks so much for your work on this review. I’ve settled on this camera for my beginner camera. Many blessings 🙏🏾
Would you recommend the Sony zv e-10 or the Nikon z50? For photography and videography
Great video...a lot of useful info....im wanting to get a camera just to take great pics and occasional video here or there is the E10 the one for me.
I think so! It does pretty good at both. I just posted a photography video last week on the zve10 if you wanna see what it can do for photography
Hard work is visible ❤❤
Thanks mate for the detailed review
Really made my mind up by watching this video. Really appreciate the time you have taken to make this. Thanks!
Hey man amazing video but I have a question. So is a Sony ZV-1 a good starter camera for my RUclips channel?
It’s a great camera to start a channel with. I started my first channel with the cannon g7x back years ago and the zv1 is way better than that camera. If you plan on switching out lenses then the zve10 is also probably the best starter camera.
@@KyleWattsTV another question is do I have to buy lenses for the camera and which is the best one for the Sony ZV-1?
@@Isaac_Mendo the zv-1 has a built in 24-70mm lens and you can’t change the lens
@@KyleWattsTV Thank you sooo much and I just subscribed. This really helped a lot
Edit: does it have a microphone or do I have to buy one?
@@Isaac_Mendo it has an internal microphone but using something like a small shotgun microphone would be an upgrade
Great video Kyle. Do you think ZV-E10 is good enough for art videos? (painting and drawing videos - mostly done with overhead camera setup). The video should be sharp and 4K so the drawing lines will be visible. I don't have a huge budget so I think this camera should do the work. Also what lens do you recommend for this purpose? Thank you
The zve10 is what I’ve been using as my overhead camera and it works great. The kit lens would be ok for it but if you had more to spend I would look at the sigma 18-50 f2.8. It’s helps using a zoom lens so you can get the framing that you want
Do you use batteries or there is a way to connect it to a power supply?
@@nemanjapetrovic119 you can attach it to a power bank while recording or you can use a “dummy battery” which is a power supply that connects to a battery
@@KyleWattsTV Thank you very much for fast and informative responses. Your videos and advices are extremely helpful. My search for the camera and lens is over, thanks to you! 👍
Love the Sony 10-18mm Lens, expensive but I use it 90% of the time on my A6400.
Still my favorite all around lens for aps-c Sony cameras. Having that OSS stabilization is great on the a6400
Same! Use it for all my vlogs & Gimbal work 👍🏽
