Great in depth video!
Thanks Peter!
@@KyleWattsTV hi! Great video. Would like to knw if it has BSI CMOS sensor same as on a6400. Also would like to knw if the screen is good for outdoor photography on sunny days as it lacks evf? Thank u.
@@vaseemthakur3423 it is the same sensor that’s in the a6400/a6600. The monitor has an option for “sunny weather” which is pretty bright out doors.
@@vaseemthakur3423 not BSI like ZV-1. Can't use polarized sunglasses. Otherwise it is okay in the sun. There's some color detail lost on the screen when in SUNNY mode.
@@z352kdaf8324 here the fix for the polarized sunglasses

This video was pure perfection, 100%... your explanations were thorough while your delivery was concise. I loved all the sample footage and photos you included too. You answered ALL of my questions! Amazing work 👏👏👏
Glad to help!
Great video Kyle!! I use it for my mid-century furniture restoration videos! Absolutly love it.
I'm just starting out with learning about cameras and this was such a great video that captured everything I wanted to know about this camera!
Excellent review! Thank you for all the effort you put behind this.
🙏
Thank you! You answer about all my questions and concerns I had about this camera.
Super helpful!! Thanks 💪🏼 Would you say that the stabilisation, shooting handheld on the E10 (using it for vlogs, for scenarios or similar while walking) would do a decent job? saw your footage you showed, but was that on gimbal or handheld? Cheers
My shots were all handheld and most the time I was on standard stabilization which is only a thing on that camera if you are using a stabilized lens (OSS lens). Active stabilization works great but it might be a little bit too close for vlogging unless you’re using a 10 mm lens
@@KyleWattsTV thanks again Kyle, great video, great advices :)
I went through your channel and noticed you are fairly new. I've been geeking out on RUclips Do's & Don'ts for new creators. Just wanted to say how polished your videos and channel are for being a new creator. You look like you have a ton of potential, and I'm shocked at how few subscribers you have for the high quality content you produce. Keep it up. I have a feeling you'll be a big name in this space in the future. Cheers.
Thanks 🙏 means a lot to hear things like this! Growth takes time on RUclips
Nice review. I just ordered an e-10 for the new sony lenses being released, looking at the 10-20mm :) I'm excited! I have an a7iv I love but it's so heavy for on the go vlogging.
Really made my mind up by watching this video. Really appreciate the time you have taken to make this. Thanks!
Nice video, the detail was great and the comparison shots were nice to see. Well done
Amazing! I’m a filmmaking student and I’m definitely getting the ZV-e10 for my first projects. Thank you very much
What lens did u end up getting
@@itsyoboig3325 buy a sigma 18-50mm f2.8 and 16mm f1.4
Thank you for the great video!!
Absolutely loved the 4k footage you shot!
Thanks for watching!
Great video, very well done. And I was shocked to see you had only 8k subscribers! I was expecting you to have more.
Was really trying to concentrate on the content, but I kept looking at Marty’s sneakers.
😂😂😂😂 same
Read this comment and saw it now I can't unsee it
Youve ruined this video for me
Now i can't concentrate 👍
Bro thought I was the only one 😂😂
That's what I call a great review! I got everything I wanted to know, plus infos about lens and other accessories! Thanks a lot!
Glad this video was a help! I have a couple other videos on the zve10 on my channel as well as a couple coming soon
@@KyleWattsTV All of them on the watchlist, thanks! 🙂 (I'm gonna watch them tomorrow, because quite late here in Europe, nearly 11pm)
Very well explained, I really enjoyed this video mate thanks! Incredible camera for the price Im definitely getting one!
Thank you so much. You were so helpful and helped me decide to buy Zv-1
Just brought camera today, can’t wait to use it. Thanks for the review!
Nice! It’s a pretty fun camera!
Thanks so much for your work on this review. I’ve settled on this camera for my beginner camera. Many blessings 🙏🏾
what a precise deep dive review...good job
One of the best in-depth review
Great informative video mane thank you , looking to buy my first camera
Very helpful - thank you
The best review ever!!! I watch a lot of sony ZV e-10 coz im just own one of this and have no background in cinematography but this video helps me a lot!!
Thanks! Glad it helps
Really informative review, Kyle. Thank you. I got mine with the kit lens a couple of weeks ago and feels like a great way to get back into photography and an introduction to video.
Perfect set up for getting back into it!
Do you still like this camera?
Do you still think this camera is worth to buy?
I’m so excited because I just ordered mine today!
Hard work is visible ❤❤
Thanks mate for the detailed review
Hey Kyle! Great video.
I struggle to decide between the Zv-1 and the Zv-e10. My main concern is going to be filming in my studio, which is fairly small and dark. I am afraid of getting the zv-1 only to realize that it doesn't capture the full width of the room and then I am stuck with that as I can't change lens. Unfortunately I have not found a single video showcasing this, what is your take on it?
I am only considering the zv-1 because of how compact it is for traveling, and of course that the aftermarket prices are much lower than that of the zv-e10
Thanks again!
Ultimately the zve10 with a low Aputure lens will do better in lower light situations and studio setups (with minimal studio lighting) but the zv1 can still work. The zv1 is a 24mm equivalent lens which is about the same as I film most of my talking head videos in my studio on my a7siii camera so I’d say it’s wide enough for that. The beginning of this video (the part with baby yoda) was all shot on the zv1

Hi Kyle, great content ! Keep up the great work !
Quick question : Do you recommand putting FF lenses on an APS-C body (Sigma 24-70 DG DN Art on a Sony a6400) ?
Thanks 😁
Yes! The FF lenses are great cause they allow you to upgrade the body to full frame later. The sigma 24-70 is a great lens for the a6400 for photos but can get a bit shakey for video since there isn’t any ibis or oss on the lens. If you’re doing a lot of video I would recommend the 24-105 FF lens or the Sony 18-105 aps-c lens.
I did a video on the sigma 24-70 on the a6400. If you wanna watch it here’s the link

@@KyleWattsTV thanks man❤️
Best video on this camera, thank you for putting this together sir!!
Amazing video going to be upgrading my camera setup for my RUclips channel in 2023! Question: how would the setup for a wireless mic work on the camera, is it a good choice? Thanks for all your help!
This is a very good review and very helpful!
Your analysis is compared to none on this camera, this is a fantastic review.
Thanks for the great in depth review.
Very nice & helpful video. Thank you so much ❤️
Great content and fantastic video. I'm buying a zv-10 - your in depth helped with my decision! I also subscribed to your channel. Really looking forward to additional videos. Especially ones featuring Sony Cameras. Thanks!
Awesome!! The Zv-e10 just started to come back in stock this week as well.
Incredible video! Well done!🔥
Thanks Kyle for the effort. Does the zv-e10 take HDR pictures? Thank you
Great vid! Was mostly looking for a beginner camera for point and shot photos/videos and will definitely get this camera now
It’s a great beginner camera that will pair well with any future cameras you might move up to.
Great review. Very informative. Thanks for sharing.
Amazing breakdown thank you
nice video thank you and finally someone showing what this camera can do.
Any suggestion about a good gimbal to use it with ?
Thanks.
You did an awesome job with this video!
Thank you very much for this video, it helped me to decide to buy the Sony zv-e10, for months I was looking for information about the camera, and here I found everything I was looking for in a single video ..... thank you very much and greetings from Germany 🇩🇪🇨🇱👍
Is the zv-e10 available in Germany? It’s on back order here in the U.S.
@@KyleWattsTV yes, you can find the Sony zv-e10 everywhere…. 👍🏻
Thanks for sharing the lenses you've used
Great informative review 👍 👍 👍
What camera and lense did you use for this video (Your studio)
Very helpful video, thank you. Which lens do you prefer for photography with the ZV-E10?
Answering all my questions thank you
Very helpful thanks for the indepth review. Not an easy choice
Great video, cleared up a lot of things for me
Thanks Kyle ! Great review which answered a lot of my questions clearly and concisely :-)
Glad to have helped!
Very detailed!
Much needed❤️
Kyle. Just stumbled across you site. I’m impressed with your editing. I have to ask! The small coloured lights on you boot. How did you do that? What software do you edit with? Your studio mic? Very nice work. One of your comments were asking about a different stabilizer. I think they were talking about Catalyst Browse. Uses gyro information. The A6400 doesn’t offer the “gyro files”. Both the ZV-1 and ZV-E10 offer it. I must say it again. Very solid editing work. Your site is a tutorial for great editing. Very well done!!!
Tha k you for such a quality review absolutely amazing
Excellent review, covers everything that needs to be known and then some.
This guy goes the extra mile , even comparing simular camers which really helps fully understand differences slight and large in what the camera can do.
These types of video creators should be rewarded for there hard work and effort by sharing and promoting to others. New subscriber, thanks for sharing your knowledge very grateful.
Thanks so much!
Great review, thank you!
great presentation,thanks
oh my God! . I really did finished the whole video . That was exciting 😍 but yu are right for keeps to my zv 1 😍😍
Informative and interesting review of Sony ZV E10.
Thanks for the video, good sir. Very informative.
Super review! Thank you very much and keep making these!
I would love to see ZV1 vs G7X Mk3 :)
I don’t have the g7x and don’t think I know anyone that would let me use one. But the g7x is a pretty good camera too
Good job. Great review.
I’m here for the content 🔥
What affordable lenses would you recommend for a new vlog RUclipsr?
Amazing review
Hi Kyle, nice in depth video. I'm looking to purchase a camera to video my son's basketball games. Would you recommend the ZV-E10 for this or a different camera to film his games? My concern is the rolling shutter issue I've seen people complain about with the ZV-E10. I appreciate your feedback. Thanks!
Pretty much all of the Sony aps-c cameras (a6400,a6500, zve10, etc will have the rolling shutter if you move the camera side to side fast. But as long as your not whipping the camera side to side it would be just fine. The zv-1 is also a good choice( it actually does pretty well with rolling shutter) but it is limited to the 24-70mm focal length
Great review Kyle. Thank you!
✌🏻
Excellent and comprehensive review. On my wishlist for the ZV-E10 is a built-in ND filter, weatherproofing, in-camera stabilization, and a viewfinder.
Sound pretty much like the a6600. I dont think we will ever see the built in ND unfortunately though.
I also suggest the a6600. An EV-10 with the specs you desire would not be $800. Also it would probably not be the same size. One last thought, I think the kit lens is stabilized. The kit lens will acco nd filters for less than $100.
great video man!
Great video and info. Thanks. 👍🏾👌🏾
Great review! Thanks!
Thanks for watching!
this video helped me choose the zv e10 thank you
Finnaly watched something greater to convinve me on zve10.. didnt skipped the ads as the content was great
Very nice video, I love this camera by the way. I'm just a photo enthusiast that wants to learn to make short videos. I switched from a Nikon D90. But only used 2 lenses. Good job!!!
From Indonesia i Very Like your review bro. Thanks
Thank you for the advice bro
Good stuff man. You should take a look at the samyang 12mm f2 with AF. 🤙🏽
Very good video, thanks
Great explainer.
I really love your channel Mr. kyle & I appreciate your efforts ✨
1. Does ZV10 have video recording on 60fps?
2. If you compare ZV1 or ZV10 with recent iPhone on 4K 60fps which one is the best?
>> my plan to buy a video camera for recording while I travel although I have iPhone 12 pro max , I’m not a vlogger 😢
Thanks for such a great and informative video!! But also, are they Back to the Future Nikes in the background?!? 🤩
Yes! They are Nike air mags from bttf
@@KyleWattsTV Ahh - they're amazing!!
Nice video! Thank you! Going to buy one
Hello, i just love your setup while you recoding.
what camera and lens do you use in the video when you are talking in the studio?
thank youuu
A7siii and sigma 24-70mm
Thinking about getting two of these for an Atem Mini Pro ISO production rig.
Thank you for all of this detail. I just hit "buy" and can't wait to try it! I'm retiring a finicky old Canon 60D that was so hard for me to use that I always resorted to my iPhone.
Man excellent video overall! Subbed!
🙏
Helpful vid thanks
Awesome review!
Thank so much for the footages and the great review. I'd like to know what gimbal did you use when the 18-105 mm mounted on. I particular like your buttery smooth footage when filming forward on the bridge.
Almost all of the sample footage was hand held but a couple shots were on a gimbal. The gimbal shown in the video is the Zhyiun Weebill S. The gimbal is a good size and will hold heavier camera / lens set ups
Excellent review, thank you
Thanks for watching!
Great video! Keep crushing it 😁💯
Thanks dude!
Awesome and thorough video. You know your stuff kid. I'm typically a runner and gunner so use my iphone and action cams almost exclusively...But...I need something better for nighttime low light situations and was looking at this as an option. What are your thoughts? Thanks!
The zve10 will be good with any lens that can go down to a f1.4 like the sigma 16
@@KyleWattsTV Thanks brother!
Good and detailed video. I'm searching for a good camera for my RUclips video. May be zve10 will be good choice.
Thank you so much for this review. Can you please clarify - can this camera livestream and record to the card memory (or computer?) at the same time? Thanks again
Your shooting video camera is marvelous
Really great review, my friend thanks for the sharing this video, I'm from Hyderabad in India,
Excellent review, thanks. I'm not a vlogger, I just shoot videos in my room. Can you recommend this camera is the best for me or a similar one? Actually, I want to choose one of : sony zv-e10 - canon M50 - fuji Xt200 or iPhone 13 pro:)
Thanks man, very helpful review. Starting from 8:23 is that color graded in post ?
All of those shots were in standard profile with basic highlight and shadow adjustments in post.
Awesome video ! I plan on getting the ZV-E10 along with the 18-105 lens. Im a barber and I’m buying these products with the intention of film making and pictures as well. Would you say this is a good combination for both, pictures and videos ??
Thanks for information
Really nice video, thinking of adding a zv-e10 for instudio camera :)
Already have the zv-1 and think its awesome, really easy and works great in auto / auto.
Good choice! i use my a6400 a lot for my studio talking head stuff and thats pretty much the same camera
