You. ARE AN ANIMAL! I love this kind of content! Keep it coming. I've got a long trip tomorrow and since I won't be driving, I'll be working on getting this up to speed in the passenger seat. Thanks JCM!
Fantastic workout! Just made it through the full thing for the first time today. Still needs polish, but man, this is a fun one. Would love to see more!
Juan! This is epic! Not sure the camera settings but that faster shutter speed is making the vids look tack sharp! It's great. They say to shoot the shutter 2x the framerate for "Natural motion blur" (so 30fps -> 1/60sec or 60fps -> 1/120sec) But in my experience if you push the shutter a bit then it sharpens the sticks and makes the overall video look sharper and clearer. For example I shoot 24fps at 1/100 or sometimes 1/80. It's something everyday people don't think they notice, but they know it looks good haha (They often use this trick in action sequences in films to make movements look quicker and sharper.) Not sure if you care, but food for thought! Loving the new look bro! Hope you're well.
You know all that stuff you said I totally understood as I have been geeking out in camera tutorials and LOVE the faster shutter speed! Just looks so much better and sharper! So thank you! Now I just need you to edit my videos. Ugh you’re absolutely destroying it my dude! Looking forward to hopefully joining the silver button club like you dude! @@justinedsall8319 I don’t know man i’ve always had fast hands throughout marching band. I’m no Tony Royster Jr. or Buddy Rich though. Just remember to stay relaxed, play with a good posture, use that rebound, be anal about things like stick height and try to get all of the different grip and playing types under our hands until they feel natural. Such as: finger technique, mohler ect. Just keep on doing workouts like this and go out and play with bands or play along with your favorite music. Hopefully that helps 🙏🙏😊

You should do a "practice with me" video where we can go over and over that video for our practice time idk just an idea Btw. This warmup series is going to be solid 🔥 🔥 🔥
Made it to 130bpm (today, that is). Not bad for an old fart like me! Thanks for this, Juan. I requested more Pad Life material a few days ago and this is perfect. I wish I could get my left hand to cooperate a little more at the faster tempos though. It seems like I work on it constantly, but it's always in the rear view mirror compared to my right hand. Anything with three strokes on the left hand is a problem for me (like beats three and four of the check pattern, exercise 2, flam paradiddles, etc.). I reach a certain tempo and then I crap out. What would you suggest (besides not being so hard on myself)?
Hey Juan, I'm from Melbourne, Australia & I've been playing for over 18 years. I love your skills and it always continues to inspire me and train harder. This is a great video and I will continue to use it (but it's driving me crazy sometimes😣 lol); I've been practicing this for about 1 week now & trying to break out of 100BPM. If I make a mistake I just wind the video back a few seconds and repeat the measure until correct. Your drum-off challenge video from a few years ago blew my mind: still one of my favourite solos.😀😀😀👍👍👍 Keep up the great work, check my you-tube channel; (I have some band footage there) and happy drumming everyone.😁👍🥁🎵🎶
