We used to find sand dollars all the time in Galveston , Tx. I find pieces now and then but it’s been many years since I have found complete ones. The dolphins are beautiful! So calming.
in my opinion the best find of this video was those 2 poor little creatures, he certainly saved their life I love that guy he is always up to save the nature by helping animals and sometime by cleaning rivers from junk like cans and stuff, when he find junk he still keep it, AMAZING!

I cant wait for my Garrett AT Pro to come in the mail, I used to use some cheap detector and found some cool finds even a Boy scout necklace from 1907 and WWII Rifle, but never on film thanks for the tip for detectors. Dry the sand dollars out in warm/sunlite plave, tbey will turn white and should be tough enough to be used as an outside/balcony windart, they don't chime very well.

Is it me or was there a gold engagement ring 💍 to the left of the first sand dollar you picked up? I rewatched that part several times. I’m pretty confident that’s what it was. 😄
What beach were you at? The public beaches up near where I live have some pretty strict (and stupid) rules when it comes to detecting, such as 'any object with a perceived value of over $5.00 must be turned in at a lifeguard station' or 'no detecting within 20 yards of anyone sunbathing'. Supposedly, these 'rules' are to stop detectorists from digging up the beaches and making them look 'trashy' by digging big holes. Yeah, we are gonna get a good signal and fire up our Cat 365c to dig it up. Its rules like this that kill our hobby. Whoever makes these rules don't even consider the 'good' we do, well, at least the good most of us do by removing sharp or dangerous objects we find like pieces of metal, sharp cans, needles, and other stuff beach goers can get hurt on. Guess that doesn't count.
Oh my gosh I would like to know where you are on the beach at 80 it is still cold down here in the south but getting warmer thanks for the video you do come across some very cool finds xxxxx....... I love dolphins too
When I was in Mexico on vacation I saw a bunch of live sand dollars was so cool! I found a 10 peso coin too though of you just eyeballed it! We saw baby turtles hatching from a nest on the beach neatest thing ever!
No not Lion Paws...Calico scallop and a Quahog shell...and maybe a half of a Jewel Box shell The cylinder shaped ones are called Olives. I love "shelling". If I could get my hands on an ATPro I'd be a "detector" also!

How do you ground balance the MAX for salt water . I try the auto ground balance but my MAX is still chatty in the wet sand?
