im 65 years old and if i could afford one of thoes i would do what he does i love watching him i love when he gets so happy when he finds little things you know it means a lot to him so haters keep your comments to your self or do not watch him if the only thing you got to say is bad things
To all of you ya-hoos out there bashing Nugget for NOT knowing what some of his finds are: Hush up! The fact that he doesn't do research to find these things out before posting his video is just a great way to keep the viewers feeling like they're there with him during his adventures. Do your own research. It's exciting to think about what you you might find out along the way. He still does know a lot more than most of his viewers. When you do this for so long, you're bound to know a thing or two. I know I've learned a lot since I've started watching his content. Think before you type. That's all.
That's exactly what he does, so you find out for yourself and br does bring negativity in his comments. I admire him for not biting on the bs say. Enjoy our hobby and have fun with it.
Triune Blades what do yo expect when you put it out there for thousands of relic hunters to see! I still love watching his vids, he will definitely get better with experience! He has the toughest part whipped, looks like he's got somd good places to hunt! I remember the first bayonet I found, a year later I found out it was a lightning rod! Lol
In your wrap up at 13:30 the silver item is a three footed silver basket. It most likely would have held a crystal or cut glass compote dish. Sadly, It is not a hand guard to a sword. Pure silver (sterling) is too soft, especially for the gauge of metal used. You can carefully straighten the basket out and return it to it’s former glory! It is an excellent find, probably a cherished possession of the former family who lived there.
Ever since I was 12 I’ve been watching your videos and watching you metal detect. I had my momma order me a cheap 90 dollar metal detector. Well, 5 years down the road and here I am. Still using the same old metal detector. I went detecting yesterday in my back yard and found my first actual cool thing, it was a really old key. I’m 16 almost 17 and I’ve been working my butt off to get an AT Pro along with a pro pointer, but man aren’t they expensive. I don’t know but you inspired me a lot, and this metal detecting adventure has made me love the outdoors more and more. God bless you, and thank you ❤️
A nugget noggin adventure great way to end my very long day. Great find there- great way to end ur adventure. Thanks for taking me along once again. Blessings young one.
What a great place to spend a day, its so beautiful. A lot to explore, nice silver find very cool. Thanks for your scriptures. May God always keep you safe.
That lug nut looking thing is an Ox-Knob. It threaded onto the horn and what stuck out would be cut off the end. Early 1800s. 1700s and earlier were completely round. Spigot thing is a gas valve.
Hey Noggin! Hubby and I enjoy watching your metal detecting videos. Your enthusiasm is contagious! We have a metal detector that is okay, but hope to be able to get a better one some day. We enjoy your scripture verses. They are comforting in the world we live in today. God bless you :)
Hey Nugget... no doubt you have influenced many into getting a MD... You got me started- 2nd year rookie LOL Thanks Brother and keep spreading the word...
Couldnt imagine posting a video and reading all the discouraging comments. These videos are great and i think you do a great job, we cant possibly know everything about everything. Keep on going with the good work!
Hi nugget, been on my first metal detector hunt for about 40 years. Went down to local beach found 1 brake pad from a car, nails, bottle tops, cans and a £2 coin, two 10p coins a 5p coin and a 5 euro coin. Had great fun thanks for getting me back into detecting had a great few hours.
At the base of that wall, you'll find a rock that has no earthly business in a Maine hayfield. Piece of black, volcanic glass. There's something buried under it I want you to have. Andy~
I will agree with a previous comment about the decorated "bell." It appears to be a candle snuffer similar in style to that used in a church. Very beautiful. Nice finds.
Wow!! Its been a long time. I lost my phone, now i got one. And start watching all the videos i missed about you. I wish i could get at least a sign from you. Big fan here
OMG I love your videos so much and I was just there about a week ago, my family doesn’t understand why I like metal detecting so much I’ve been a subscriber for a bout 3 years and I am so happy that I have joined the nugget noggin fam!
Smashing finds - isn't it amazing the circle of life? How that area has ebbed & flowed - you'd love to know what it looked like up there when that car ruled the roads and when it was dumped? Need to get back in that creek when it warms up. Most enjoyable! Cheers!
And I have to wonder what caused people to abandon such a place - was it too hard, how long ago and what's the story now? Is it far away from a thriving community or just a steep hill on someone's back-forty they don't bother with any more? I guess Nugget could tell us without giving the location away? Enjoy your day Braddy's Fun Show! :)
Your silver item isn't a sword hilt or hand guard. It's some sort of silver ornamental piece. Those knobs would have set on the ground and something would have been held within.
I've found teapot stands that look very similar. www.google.com/search?rls=com.microsoft%3Aen-us%3AIE-Address&biw=1400&bih=752&tbm=isch&sa=1&ei=pv8VW7TIJ4GYjwT5pLbQBA&q=antique+silver+stand+for+teapot&oq=antique+silver+stand+for+teapot&gs_l=img.3...38506.40412.0.41435.11.11.0.0.0.0.151.1023.1j8.9.0....0...1c.1.64.img..2.1.150...0i8i30k1.0.GhvVSgrUg2M#imgrc=9xc782FcntoyYM:&spf=1528168401569
Loos like the hand guard from an old cavalry sword. Possible used by a British or American soldier in the war of 1812. Not sure where exactly you're at but you could look into the history of the area at the time to figure out exactly where that came from.
Hi Nugget, I don’t believe that is a collar disc. Due to its size, it appears to be a cap badge. Due to its beige color I would assume World War I, but usually the cap badge is just the eagle with no back. I will do further research, but still an amazing find.
I have a WW1 area I go too, TONS of great finds including dog tags, medals, buttons, rings, pocket knives, daily grooming items, broken tools, lots of coins ( some older 1800;s) and lots of junk, nails, washers, bolts, etc...
hi nugget, the round brass piece at the end of your finds with the square to Edge on it is an oxen knob. they would thread them onto an oxens horns and cut the top off, and put a pin in it so they don't get gored by them. I was lucky enough to find one also here in New England. great video nugget!
Noel MO has 2 abandoned house sights. 1 built inground sorta. Definitely a place to check out. Its like it was a family property. Really really old brick lay on the inground one. It was an awesome find. But definitely a good place to detect hunt.
last item you showed at the end of the vid is an ox knob ,threads onto an oxes horn , the half moon shaped objext (brass) is half of a bull or oxen nose ring. cool finds
Hey Nugget, good finds! The piece of uniform is collar brass. Very cool! Never saw a oxen shoe before. Amazing! I am still interested in the bottle opener! Please let me know. Thanks for another interesting vedio! May God Bless !
That silver thng appears to have 3 ball feet and would have had a cut crystal container for sauce or jam. I could be wrong but without handling it I cannot be certain but am pretty sure it is not off a sword. 18th century.
After seeing all the similar comments, you are certainly correct. Before reading them, however, my thought was that it could be a hand guard for an ornamental sword, one that is only used for events that involve ceremony.
Thanks for your videos. Enjoy your enthusiasm. Live near you down near Clemson sc. Been up to Kings Mt several times as well as the Living Farm. Wish you could hunt the battle area, you could find a lot of relics for the museum. Keep the faith!
The last brass item you showed in your roundup is an oxen knob, were put on the ox horns so the points would'nt be cause as much of a threat to anybody
Nice place beautyfull, the woods a awesome good history collonial finds brother i allways watch you videos. Verry intresting your exploring God bless greetings from the Netherlands Chris
Awesome their young man again I enjoy what you're fine even if I don't know or you don't know what it is I enjoy the hunt with you stay blessed and keep it up
That is one awesome find...sword guard. Amazing! When you find something like the bells and hoe, how do you know they're from the 1700's or 1800's as you stated? You had a great 2 interesting days.

That's a stand for a teapot the Hallmark is a wilcox & Wagoner co. 1904 which was later bought out by Watson & newell co. 1895- 1920.
Those Bells were a really good find because those are from around the 1820s and they are from an a coach wagon. Great find!!!

That sword thing is absolutely beautiful to wow

The spigot and the bell are so highly decorated, they almost look Scandinavian. Beautiful!
Exactly what I thought!
Hey Nugget... no doubt you have influenced many into getting a MD... You got me started- 2nd year rookie LOL Thanks Brother and keep spreading the word...
@6:05 That is part of a genuine Colonial vehicle! 👍😁🇺🇸

stingray427man ........ say what the nail
Bit-o Shawshank :D
Loved that movie
Then off to Mexico he goes!
After doing more research, it appears that it i was correct. It’s a World War I enlisted mans cap insignia!! Very awesome find
I will agree with a previous comment about the decorated "bell." It appears to be a candle snuffer similar in style to that used in a church. Very beautiful. Nice finds.
Very similar decoration to Scandinavian sheep bells with animals and crosses. Who knows?
Good videos brother another adventure God bless you
If that Old Tree could Talk, it could Probably Tell some Good Stories of things that Happened in its Vicinity...

Yay - meeting you this Saturday in Toronto !!!
That 2nd bell is gorgeous, great finds bro. See ya saturday
Smashing finds - isn't it amazing the circle of life? How that area has ebbed & flowed - you'd love to know what it looked like up there when that car ruled the roads and when it was dumped? Need to get back in that creek when it warms up. Most enjoyable! Cheers!
Small Wonda That car made my day! I’d love get a vision of what it looked like years ago right where he was! Such an amazing place!
And I have to wonder what caused people to abandon such a place - was it too hard, how long ago and what's the story now? Is it far away from a thriving community or just a steep hill on someone's back-forty they don't bother with any more? I guess Nugget could tell us without giving the location away? Drew B. I think your right it might have been for glass salt and pepper shakers or condiment bottles on a dining table, still very old though.
Drew B. I agree. Probably some kind of stand for potpourri or a small tea pot.
I've found teapot stands that look very similar. www.google.com/search?rls=com.microsoft%3Aen-us%3AIE-Address&biw=1400&bih=752&tbm=isch&sa=1&ei=pv8VW7TIJ4GYjwT5pLbQBA&q=antique+silver+stand+for+teapot&oq=antique+silver+stand+for+teapot&gs_l=img.3...38506.40412.0.41435.11.11.0.0.0.0.151.1023.1j8.9.0....0...1c.1.64.img..2.1.150...0i8i30k1.0.GhvVSgrUg2M#imgrc=9xc782FcntoyYM:&spf=1528168401569
It would have held a glass dish
Its part of an old sugar cup. I have one identical.
AWESOME video Nuggett !!! Keep up the great work and may God bless
Right on brother! great area and awesome finds! BTW I look forward to meeting you on Saterday! God Bless brother!
Love ya Man........ Give anything to go out treasure hunting with you any day!!
Loos like the hand guard from an old cavalry sword. Possible used by a British or American soldier in the war of 1812. Not sure where exactly you're at but you could look into the history of the area at the time to figure out exactly where that came from.
That is a truly brilliant silver sword hand guard find Noggin. Fantastic!
Road to 700k noggin.... love the videos as always...💖💖💖💖💖 God bless
Hi Nugget, I don’t believe that is a collar disc. Due to its size, it appears to be a cap badge. Due to its beige color I would assume World War I, but usually the cap badge is just the eagle with no back. I will do further research, but still an amazing find.
Griffin Colvin yes too big for a collar disc and yes most likely great war era.
I have ww1 era Caps with that early style regulation eagle. Definitely ww1 era.
Def WW1 I have a huge collection of WW1 buttons and bridle rosettes. It is either cap, or winter coat front button not a collar disc.
I have a WW1 area I go too, TONS of great finds including dog tags, medals, buttons, rings, pocket knives, daily grooming items, broken tools, lots of coins ( some older 1800;s) and lots of junk, nails, washers, bolts, etc...
Great quality video, you could just reach out and touch that rock wall. Superb find that silver sword guard. Well done, thanks, every blessing.
Really excellent finds ! I always get so excited to see what you pull out of the earth or water. Great video as always.
Awesome finds... keep digging and stay safe!
The decorated ”bell” looks more like candle snuffer to me....especially with the crosses on it.
Norwegian and Swedish sheep bells look very similar. Animals and crosses.
Digger Dame Thanks for that! good to know. Lovely item.
Colleen Nikstenas I think your right. When he turns it upside down I don’t see any evidence of where a clapper would be attached.
A lot of the time clappers are rusted away and the inside appear smoothe. Could be either.
Some good finds I loved the ornate bell
hi nugget, the round brass piece at the end of your finds with the square to Edge on it is an oxen knob. they would thread them onto an oxens horns and cut the top off, and put a pin in it so they don't get gored by them. I was lucky enough to find one also here in New England. great video nugget!

The bell with designs, maybe an old school or Sunday school bell! I think I saw a lamb and cross on it. Nice finds! Great view.
last item you showed at the end of the vid is an ox knob ,threads onto an oxes horn , the half moon shaped objext (brass) is half of a bull or oxen nose ring. cool finds
Hey Nugget, good finds! The piece of uniform is collar brass. Very cool! Never saw a oxen shoe before. Amazing! I am still interested in the bottle opener! Please let me know. Thanks for another interesting vedio! May God Bless !
Super great finds, Nugget. I really like the ornamental bell.
Stone wall. Robert Frost " good fences make good neighbors" (MENDING WALL)
Nice Adz! Lol.. There's one at every antique auction!
Just when i thought my life was over.........now i have lots of real entertainment......thanks nugget
Thank you for watching!
@@nuggetnoggin hope you get more likes from my share......

Eagle eye Nugget! Thanks for showing, awesome finds. I think that hoe is probably an Adz a woodworker tool, the rectangular eye gives it away.
Great finds and around the car was probably the dump. this area looks so relaxing to walk through.
that was cool that you found a silver sword hand guard and a old railroad coupler.
Thanks for your videos. Enjoy your enthusiasm. Live near you down near Clemson sc. Been up to Kings Mt several times as well as the Living Farm. Wish you could hunt the battle area, you could find a lot of relics for the museum. Keep the faith!
Now that’s a beautiful view, Nugget!
Man that’s a pretty stream! Any place like that has to have history
That one brass piece is an oxen knob! Sharp horn cover!
Love that water mini fall love your videos

Running the small coil max on zero mode literally sounds like something out of Star Wars
Hahaha you're a funny bugga, you say lets get to it then get side tracked looking at a stone fence :) Happy Hunting
I love your hunts and I love your way you do your videos Nugget... hope to meet you one day brother.. God bless you
The decorated bell and thistle looks like ones that were used by Scots on decorative harnesses for ox or draft horse rigs.
@ 14:00 ox nose ring
@ 14:55 ox knob
Another awesome video! Happy hunting everyone!
i think the clapper fell out of your bell, go get it! great find
The last item, round nut looking thing, you showed on your review is an ox knob. It went in the tip of the ox's horns.
Awesome finds, Nugget!
GREAT finds. GREAT video! Thanks Nugget!
Great videos Nuggetnoggin, I really enjoy watching your work. Keep it up
Beautiful scenery I love the view, you sure making a beautiful video thank you
The last brass item you showed in your roundup is an oxen knob, were put on the ox horns so the points would'nt be cause as much of a threat to anybody

If people focused on truly loving themselves, their need to criticize others, especially in such petty ways, would end.
That little necklace thing was a Jordan sign 😂😂😂
Some great finds.

PIZZA? NOW WE'RE TALK'IN! 🍕
That is one awesome find...sword guard. Amazing! When you find something like the bells and hoe, how do you know they're from the 1700's or 1800's as you stated? You had a great 2 interesting days.
I'm kind of surprised you didn't shoot the stone wall... It was pretty common practice to hide things in those walls... Worth a shot in my humble opinion...
Awesome hunt!
What state was this in?
Beautiful scenery!
