Flannery O'Connor: The Making of an American Master

On Thursday, November 4, 2021, we had a film screening and panel discussion on one of America's most iconic Catholic writers, Flannery O'Connor. The panel consisted of the film's producer, Mark Bosco, S.J., and one of the most respected scholars of O'Connor's work, Angela O'Donnell of Fordham University's Curran Center for American Catholic Studies. This panel is moderated by the Boisi Center's director Mark Massa, S.J.

Flannery might not have had good romantic relationships with men, but she did have very good friendships with *many* men which is apparent in her collected letters. Her editors, fellow writers, priests. She had more male correspondents, Id say, then female.
