What an elegant and wise and moving overview of this beloved and quietly heroic author whose work continues to reverberate!

You burn for Flannery as passionately as a 747 burns jet fuel on take off. And you guide with cockpit precision through Thomism, materialism, enlightenment, supernaturalism, sacramentalism...and you invite us to sit in first class with Bloy and so many others Thank you. Wiseblood has never been so powerfully summarized

This is a beautiful lecture - the best brief introduction to O'Connor I've encountered. It's a model that should be imitated.
