Nationals MP Barnaby Joyce has apologised after being filmed rolling around a Canberra footpath, with vision leaked to the Daily Mail.
Joyce fronted Sunrise on Monday morning to explain himself, telling host Natalie Barr that he made a ‘mistake’ after mixing prescription drugs with alcohol.
While many are critical of Joyce’s behaviour, Sky News pundits and Nine’s Karl Stefanovic brushed off the episode, suggesting it was ‘on brand’.
