Thanks for posting, I have a 06' Spectra 5 and the drivers side outside door handle broke off, can't find any post about doing this... just wondering if you've done this before? I purchased and painted a replacement handle and had to stop because I was having problems removing the door panel but this video was great giving me all the points to unscrew. Just seeing if you had any advice on replacing the outside door handle before I dive in and try it. Thanks !
My window switch isn't working either. The driver side door can roll down the back windows but cannot roll them up. Similar issue with the passenger side door as well. How did you fix your window switch not working?
im trying to replace the front passenger door cable on my 2009 kia spectra. it snapped and i cant figure out how to install my new cable. i can remove the screw on the little black box but i cant see how to attach the new cable to it. is there a way to completely remove the black box? if you can... please make it painfully easy for me as i dont know what im doing
best place to ground a amp does anyone know please and thank u these cars are crazy I have done many cars but this 2005 kia got the best of me today we left the amp hooked up and touched a lot of stuff in the trunk and nothing happen no green light on amp comes on its a aftermarket amp I put it in my car works fine
I grounded my amp where the back seat bolt is , i took the bolt out sand the area down to the metal then put my ground wire touching the sanded part then put the seat bolt back together
My handle on my hatchback broke. I'm thinking the cable came off in there, yet I'm not sure. Does anyone know a way to take off the back hatchback to take a look inside of it? Thanks!
Shannon Schow tougher to just work from inside the car but i think you can still do it. Or 4 bolts to take out the driver seat to move it, still tight fit to move that inside the car...

With the window switch not working properly, we just ordered a new switch from the dealership and installed it.

FYI there's a phillips screw behind the covers. ;-)
