When people tell me that there is no good music these days, I point them in the direction of these guys, plus Silvertwin, Lonely Robot, Riverside. Lickerish Quartet, The Sonic Executive Sessions, The Red Button, Nell Bryden, and more!
Eu também não sabia e olha que eu escuto música direto desde criança o rádio vivia ligado direto só música boa dos anos 70,80 ,90 amo realmente não sabia destes maravilhosos young Gun Silver Fox amooo Rolling back
The 1st song I heard from YGSF! Shout out to Erica Lee's "Yacht Rock" podcast for introducing me, loved it ever since. AM Waves is my fav album. Props to You guys!!
Beautiful, smooth, and classy, with great harmonies. A rare, but much-cherished style of production harking back to a time when the texture of a song mattered. Well done fellas.
I work as a bartender in a live-music club mainly meant for jazz gigs, but also funkateer grooves & I usually conclude a band is really good when their concert either truly influence my life afterwards or if their live-show somehow has an impact on my daily routine. In this specific case, I had a song that I kept in mind several days not knowing where it was from, except that it was Young Gun Silver Fox' Kingston Boogie from their last show in my town. Well done, it has become a cult anthem ! Keep it real

Why does this absolute treasure only have 617 likes? I don't get it. I assume there must be an awesome video for it to be found and that people are putting their likes there instead. Or something.

Reminds me on Steely Dan. Everything seems to have a purpose here, really great production.
Oh yeah.. we're gonna feature them soon.. Tune in The Yacht Rock Show podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-yacht-rock-show-with-eddie-ganz/id1520843815
First thing I thought when I heard this: "Who are these Steely Dan wannabees?":)
Yass! Reminds you of Peg, Babylon Sisters, and a little bit of Hey Nineteen. I thought the same thing
Sound like something Steely Dan would sing about, too. Even the title sounds like a Steely Dan title. 😄😄 I love it!!!
@@kitaswifey I'm getting "Time Out of Mind"
Andy Platts (YGSF, Mamas Gun) is a damn genius. Masterful songwriting.
Thank god great music hasn't died yet!

They keep playing this on the radio, and I can't blame them.

Sounds like a fusion of Ambrosia, Prefab Sprout and Steely Dan.
Well said. Believe it or not that was my first thought steely Dan and ambrosia. Good ear mate.
Great music. They need this played all over the country.

This song gives me a sliver of hope for future music, this sounds so similar to 70s yacht rock. I wish more modern artists would make music like this

The best song Maurice White never wrote. Love it ❤️❤️

Another great track from AM Waves. This one has more of a disco vibe... well, it does have the word "boogie" in the title!
Yea its Slammin! podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-yacht-rock-show-with-eddie-ganz/id1520843815
I love this song so much! Great story. I can imagine myself at that bar.
Oh God this is such a bop I love it.
Still highly underrated...

The ending of this song reminds me of Donna Summer's "Hot Stuff"/"Bad Girls" transition.
Remember what I said bro ! DOPE!
Love it

One Brit, one Yank ;-)
Superb
Reminds me of Jamaraqui
Its good, almost as good as 70s soul
@ 0:20 clearly hearing the inspiration from Sugardaddy's How Long
Sugardaddy, it's an Ace song originally.
Are you a fan of the original by Ace?
@@Kjfitzdude1 ah, didn’t know the original tune from 1974, thanks
The verse sounds exactly like.Ace "How Long Has This Been Going On".
Please tell us where this Lenny’s on Kingston Street is... I want to have his drinks!
I've been to bars like this in places like Thailand, Australia and Greece. This song takes me back to those times.
Top grade
A bop
This sounds a lot like a mesh of Steely Dan Gaucho sounds and How Long by Ace
💯❤️
