I've been a huge fan of Rise Against since waaay back been to countless shows over the years and will continue to support RA all the way. I'm Stoked to see them this July when they land in London, ON for Rock In The Park. That being said.... I hate to say it but the years are catching up to Tim's vocals. I remember going to shows and swearing it was just their cd's playing because Tim sounded THAT DAMN GOOD! I TRULY hope RA takes a break so that Tim's vocals can once again be what they were. RA is one of the greats and I hope nothing but the best for them!!
Rob James What distinguish them from all the generic bands is that they refuse to use any kind of autotune as well as back up recorded vocals on the shows (and believe me A LOT of artists use them nowadays), they just simply give it all fro the heart and to me Tim's voice sound perfectly on tune, just not as good on the first 2 songs but on the rest of the show is ace
I agree, and you're right. Don't get me wrong here, I'm not sayin that Tim sounded Horrible, I'm sayin that his vocals aren't what they used to be. Yes after the first 2 or 3 songs he did sound a lot better and more of what we expect to hear from Tim. If you search for RA's Live in St. Petersburg, FL from 2014, this will show you what I'm referring to... All I'm saying is that Tim's vocals aren't as consistent as they use to be and at times you can tell he's straining to hit his marks in songs. With the way Tim performs its only a given that from time to time they should be taking a brief break so that Tim's vocals can be as consistent as they've been.
Rob James i saw them at Rock im Park in Nuremberg a few week ago. I think Tims voice sounded much better in Nuremberg than in this video. It was one of the greatest concerts I've ever been to. I realy love Rise Against and theyr shows.
That show was amazing! I have to admit it started off a bit slow for me, but by the middle I was practically singing along with Tim. That guitar by Zach is still stunning.
I haven't had any interest at all in music concerts ever until just recently when I heard rise against is coming to play in my country this year. I'm so hyped for that and I'll definitely be there.
Ready to Fall Give It All Re-Education (Through Labor) Behind Closed Doors The Good Left Undone Help Is on the Way Chamber the Cartridge Make It Stop (September's Children) Prayer of the Refugee Swing Life Away(acoustic) I Don't Want to Be Here Anymore Savior
4:30 I think Joe had his bass's volume knob at half before this song then was like "fuck the front of house guy, LET'S GIVE THESE PEOPLE MORE BASS" and then after this song--front of house guy was like "OH SHIT BASS! THEY CAN'T BE ALLOWED TO HEAR A BASS IN THE MIX IT'S AGAINST ALL RULES!!!"
Damn it, I can't believe I missed the show in Orlando when they came by. I was short of cash for tickets but at least these kind of videos exist to give me a taste of my absolute favorite band. The Good Left Undone blows me away, as does Chamber the Cartridge and many others. Where ever they pop up near me again, I WILL get myself to that show.
I discovered Rise Against thanks to Need For Speed Underground 2 and Give it all. I like so much your songs guys. Both lyrics and melody please continue like this !!
I think that in 2016 since it will have been 15 years after their first album they should do old school setlists for their shows (like from The Unraveling, Revolutions Per Minute, and Siren Song of the Counter Culture)
I think they mostly played their singles/recent popular songs because this is rock in rio and not one of their actual concerts where people come to specifically see them but I still would love to see them do a lot of their older songs live
Marina T I saw them with Pennywise last November and you're right, they played more of their old songs. But in a perfect world, I would saw them a whole day playing all their 3 first albums :D
Pq o Medina não trouxe Rise Against pro Rock in Rio no Rio de Janeiro.
I've never seen them live but I've been a fan of them for approximately 10-12 years and everything I've seen from them live has made me think he cannot actually sing. this being said I would love to see em, because I know recording doesn't necessarily give justice.... but sadly after watching anything live it just sounds sooooooo much worse than CD
I absolutely love Rise Against, their songs, amazing lyrics and Tim's voice but now they're just horrible live. Especially Tim's voice... I know he gets old and his voice won't be as good as before and it makes me sad because this band is one of my favorite...
I cant believe this band is from Chicago. It sounds so Californian! Even if it's punk rock, it's very Offspringish. I didn't know this band very well, only by name. I liked it tho.
i do not agree with that endgame was different than for example siren song of the counter culture (which is my favorite). They made a change in music for somehow but black market was great
Seriously, why the fuck do they not play anything off of their first 2 albums anymore? Revolutions Per Minute is still the best goddamn album they ever made, and they don't even bother including "Heaven Knows" in the setlist? Jesus Christ. This band really has changed for the worst.
great band but wrong venue and wrong crowd..how far is that gap from crowd to band hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah the crowd are waiting for 3 doors down so no wonder there weak
+jordan shahan Tbh, I think it's more so their recorded live performances, usually they take place in the middle of a tour. I saw them live back in 2009, they had like 2-3 weeks of recovery before the venue in my city and my god they were actually pretty damn good. then later that year they had the live boston concert and I was like "Oh god this sounds awful? What happened" but Yeah...
+Gooey It depends, if they have some resting time before a concert they sound perfect. Most of the time when these concert are put on youtube it's during a big festival while they are touring. There are some songs I think they do better live. When they performed at Rock on the Range Tim's voice was way more powerful. But I do agree with you somewhat, but every band has a streak of bad performances.
Oh man, that surprise solo in Savior was so awesome, I really wish I could of been there. They put so much energy into this show!
Rise against was so amazing, I was so lucky to be able to go!

Que gran show , una de las mejores bandas del rock in rio!

It was a great f*cking festival, glad I was there, thanks for uploading it man

The BEST show on RiR Las Vegas
This was a fantastic lineup, great songs all of them! Im going to see them live fo the first time in about a month. I'm so excited for that!
thanks for the upload! :)
i have seen them 9 times and cant wait to go again

It's sacrilege if you can't hear bass in rise against. Joe is to rise against what cliff was to Metallica.
XD dude I'm dying laughing right now!
ggg
They sound better in a close small venue. They were fucking amazing in the House of Blues in Boston.
I was there :)
Me too! Favorite part of the night
Alex Mendez how much did it cost?

Tim's voice is just amazing in this concert. Wish I was there

punkgirl1105 lol Youre never too young to see a live concert
punkgirl1105 lol You will love it when you see them...amazing show! Come to Chicago to see them if you want the best show they can deliver
I discovered Rise Against thanks to Need For Speed Underground 2 and Give it all. I like so much your songs guys. Both lyrics and melody please continue like this !!

Brazil loves you guys!
Tim's voice sounds so much better then in 2014 love rise against more Than pizza
R.A Melhor banda
Love it !
so...Tim's voice had some bad last year, but now it's amazing again !!!!! Unbelievable !
they should come to Woodstock in Poland.
48:01 Goosebumbs
ohhh that guitar part on help is on the way was really cool
And I just love this version of Swing Life Away
Fuck... Tim sounds amazing here
I think that in 2016 since it will have been 15 years after their first album they should do old school setlists for their shows (like from The Unraveling, Revolutions Per Minute, and Siren Song of the Counter Culture)
The BPM on Savior was crazy
Rise Against e Linkin Park fizeram os melhores shows do Rock in Rio Las Vegas
When Rock in Rio is no longer Rock, crowds like this are born...
I'd give it all, to go to one of their concerts.
This version of Savior is beautiful! ;)
Wird da mal Zeit auszurasten! :D
Im gonna see them live today..for my birthday in central park :)
Do you have the full version of the Made In America Fest! Would love to relive those Rise Against moments!
best version of savior is in this concert!!!
Найс
I'M AS MAD AS HELL AND I'M NOT GONNA TAKE THIS ANYMORE!!!
That was intense lol!
missing paper wings
Douglas Hideki Abe 'n Long Forgotten Sons (My favorite one).
Douglas Hideki Abe
Missing a lot of songs actually..
Douglas Hideki Abe Missing too many songs from the firsts album in my opinion... Hope they'll fix it for the Hellfest this summer!
I think they mostly played their singles/recent popular songs because this is rock in rio and not one of their actual concerts where people come to specifically see them
but I still would love to see them do a lot of their older songs live

I only watch this for savior. like oh my god
Where can I find the thumbnail photo? I have been looking for it ever since the show.

Thank you very much!
I'm pretty sure he changed like every note for Swing Life Away

I'm a human being, Goddamit, My life has value!
acho que o publico do rock in rio so queria pop
22:35 a wrong? un error?
3:58 nobody screamed ''to fall''
Why is it that every live video of these guys is mixed like shit?
life less frightening needs to be in their set.
Why they dont play Under the Knife?
I've never seen them live but I've been a fan of them for approximately 10-12 years and everything I've seen from them live has made me think he cannot actually sing. this being said I would love to see em, because I know recording doesn't necessarily give justice.... but sadly after watching anything live it just sounds sooooooo much worse than CD

bet
then you are not a true fan period, Rise Against has only gotten better, Tim's voice is still the same, their message is as strong if not stronger.
tragedy+time? :c nope?
why are they always playing when the night begins to fall
is he in standard tuning for Swing Life Away?
DarkWingMC that doesn't matter, he used a capo
Deactivated Not only that but he created a new version of Swing Life Away, so he doesn't play it or sing it like a few years ago.
Half Step Down tuning with Capo on 4th fret (3rd fret if in Standard tuning)
I cant believe this band is from Chicago. It sounds so Californian! Even if it's punk rock, it's very Offspringish. I didn't know this band very well, only by name. I liked it tho.
su show dejo mucho que desear , y eso que a mi me encanta rise against..y el mal audio los perjudico
Wow I'm actually very surprised that they just play I don't want to be here anymore from the black market, I think they know it wasn't that good :p
They didn't play "Satellite" at this show?!?!
Nick_Beasley1 endgame was such a dissapointment
i do not agree with that endgame was different than for example siren song of the counter culture (which is my favorite). They made a change in music for somehow but black market was great
Tim needs more breaks between live shows, his voice is starting to sound so bad and hes totally out of breath all the time.
Tim really needs to take a break from touring so much. He kind of threw his voice out. He just needs to give it some time to heal.
The timing is so off on a lot of these songs.. Bad concert but win some lose some
Rise Against deserved a better crowd. They sounded so dead, showing no reaction!
Why does a punk band need triggered drums?
*Peter Griffin voice* I was there
Bass is too loud and guitar is too soft
The way the drummer is drumming looks so weird...
hero of war?:(
lol wtf his mic is wired
It was a great festival I was there, but the crowd sucked, low energy and everything, too busy on their phones smh
Seriously, why the fuck do they not play anything off of their first 2 albums anymore? Revolutions Per Minute is still the best goddamn album they ever made, and they don't even bother including "Heaven Knows" in the setlist? Jesus Christ. This band really has changed for the worst.
+Akhamesh you are 100% right dude!!!
+Akhamesh They play them on their concerts, but a festival is something different. They have not that much time to play a lot of songs
+Akhamesh Oh Fuck Off..
+Akhamesh they are touring to promote the black market thats why
They have a timer on the left side....Example 1 hour and not more time...
*a performance vocal
Dead crowd ;c
***** most were older people there for Metallica
Harika aq
great band but wrong venue and wrong crowd..how far is that gap from crowd to band hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah the crowd are waiting for 3 doors down so no wonder there weak
This Crowd truely sucks.
I like Rise Against a lot but jesus they are terrible live...
+Gooey
I kinda agree
I love their songs but when it comes to them being live I can really stand it much. but they still make good music

They sound really good in person. I just find that in videos it sounds like crap
Most awkward looking drummer EVER
Tim sounds horrible.
