Interesting video, I fail to see humanoid robots being a major part of our future, it makes more sense to me to develop a robot that wasn't constrained by survival of the fittest, i.e. specialised for their purpose like the robot used in civil engineering.
I have to disagree, if waymo is good enough, it will rule over western transportation. You only have to train one good model which if u install on any other car, can drive itself.
@@Suspiciousguy124 that's my thoughts too - Waymo, in one week, drives more than a human does in their whole life due to all the cars training its model.
@@Suspiciousguy124 u can spend forever trying to train the ‘one model’ with the wrong approach. Waymo is using a sensor set that costs 40k+ per car and makes the car look like it’s covered in cysts. They are ugly, bulky, expensive, and flaky in harsh weather. They sever as a hindrance to future expansion. There is a better approach, take a look at Tesla FSD much closer.
@@iano4027you can’t tell these people anything. I don’t think people understand the true difference between Tesla FSD and Waymo. By the time they understand that Tesla is light years ahead, it will be too late

Yes that makes sense! I think he might have been including that sort of stuff in the overall number, not sure!
Waymo is not scalable. They are building a niche expensive dumb looking geo fenced shovel. Might be better examples out there.
Entitled to your opinion! The principle was still there, definitely better examples out there.
