Ahsoka being there at Padme’s funeral is…tragic.
Obi-wan, Ahsoka, and Anakin were siblings. That’s the truth.
She was there for her brother’s wife’s funeral when he wasn’t. She bore the pain of that loss, and others, in silence unable to let it out openly for fear of discovery. Everything and everyone she knew was gone, besides Rex and a few others.
The eldest brother was in hiding, blaming himself for what he believed to be his little brother’s death and downfall. Lost, alone, and afraid as he looks after his little nephew on Tatooine and niece on Alderaan. Wandering the sands…waiting…hoping.
The fallen brother in question was busy brooding: ashamed, guilt-ridden, and broken for all that had happened to him and was caused by him. The rage and pain consumed him. It kept him in perpetual torment and churned his darkest thoughts into cruelty and malice.
It’s a Greek tragedy of family.

Obi-wan probably didn't wanna take any risks of being killed, or at least causing chaos at the funeral given how the jedi were framed and how everyone wanted their heads.

There is something about animated Star Wars that really captures that feeling George’s projects emanated. Live action can be good but it always feels like they’re restricted by what they can do. I cannot wait for this and the Bad Batch. I’m excited to see how Dooku’s fall will affect Qui-Gon, and if it’ll draw parallels with Anakin and Ahsoka.
Andor seems really interesting and I love Din Djarin and the Mandalorian characters. However, I didn’t like how they ended Book of Boba Fett with Grogu. It seems like Disney wants to keep him as the precious little kid figure and to not allow him to mature. I hope we see some substantial growth with his character.
I still wish he chose to became a Jedi and realized that the responsibility of a Jedi doesn’t mean you should sever attachments, but that the Jedi have a responsibility to all life in the Galaxy. That should be the lesson Luke wanted to teach him, which mirrors much of his journey in ROTJ. Tales of the Jedi looks like it’ll expand upon what Jedi should be, and teach valuable lessons to the characters within.

They need to give up on their own canon and start picking and choosing from legends.
Everything they do with Star Wars veterans has been pretty fantastic, like Dave Faloni. Everything they do branching out on their own is dogshit.

    • @JRGines
      @JRGines 2 года назад +3

yeah BoBF pretty much negated the impact of Grogu leaving the Mandalorian and train with Luke Skywalker, at least for me. personally I would've liked it that Mando spends some time away from Grogu while the little undergoes his own trials throughout season 3 and have their heartfelt reunion by the end of the season, and NOT in another show

its because the live action shows recently have looked cheap and poorly made. They really don't seem to put their full passion into making every little detail matter when it comes to the live action shows. In animation, that's all up to the animators. The clone wars animators tend to work a lot harder and a lot longer to make everything feel like star wars and put a ton of passion. Of course Dave being in charge is always the biggest factor of them all though. He is the apprentice of George and no one knows Star Wars like him nowadays. Hence why The Mandalorian is by far the best live action show

i got emotional seeing the trailer- the clone wars series is such an amazing part of the star wars stories. while i'm not 100% certain, the giant saber-tooth beast ahsoka is seen with may be the akul native to shili. they were extremely dangerous and the togruta were wary of them. those who killed the akul would wear their teeth as headdresses as a sign of the trophy and their strength. shaak ti and ahsoka had these akul teeth crowns. there's been no official depiction of akul yet, so i cannot be certain. this also makes me curious to see how ahsoka even got the teeth for her crown. most have assumed she killed one (which would be impressive because she already has this crown at the age of 14), but she's seen riding one of them in the trailer?
    anyway... i cannot wait.

I also wonder if by including Windu in a major way, the Writers will attempt to justify the Jedi's emotional detachment in the twilight of The Order, I would love to see Windu go from being an idealistic and compassionate Jedi, to a more cynical and detached one, even if only subtlety through his tone of voice or choice of words - all as a result of Dooku's fall and betrayal.

Yes I truly agree with you in the whole Star Wars animation to solidify the timeline, when live action wouldn't be feasible due to actors contracts or personal obligations due to just being a real person that also breathes the same air as us loyal fans. I'm so excited to see the new stuff.

If you look close enough, at Padme’s funeral it’s possible to spot Tal Merrik in the crowd, from Clone Wars season 2 episode 13. Either it’s just the same clothing (hood), but the face is 100% same, even though Anakin killed him

Other than the main things, one thing I love is how we are going to see early Clone Wars Ahsoka, Anakin, and Obi-Wan in the Season 7/Modern animation style. I'm curious about early Clone Wars Obi-Wan having the mullet though.

I recently read the obi wan padawan book and it is interesting because Couny Dooku had left the temple already but would come back and visit. Qui-gon still cared about him early on through obi-wans apprenticeship. Seeing a younger Dooku and potentially Dooku in a political setting on Serenno after he leaves the order is beyond exciting.

Theorizing that Dooku’s red crystal was Yadel’s as we know it must be TAKEN so he can make it BLEED. Can’t be Sifo-Dyas’, Plo Koon found and ignited it in season 6 of Clone Wars. Pretty sure Maul was the only one who didn’t bleed a crystal. If I recall correctly

I'd love a tales of a Jedi series with Qui Gon Jinn as a master and Obi-wan as a padawan before phantom menace. And in contrast a series that covers Jedi Knight Obi-wan and Padawan Anakin before Attack of the Clones.

Ah yes, The Works sector. I've "been there" in SWTOR. It's where you have to go through to reach the old Jedi Temple that Malgus and the Sith destroyed on Coruscant. It would be great to see that referenced somehow as well.

The only criticism i have for this is the choice of characters it seems to focus on. Don't get me wrong... Ahsoka is one of my favorite characters from Star Wars and more Ahsoka is always welcome. And seeing Dookus development in animated form, rather than just in things like the audiobook/novel we got is gonna be great. I was just kinda hoping that he show would focuse more on the tales of the exploits of Jedi that have not been as prominently featured before as the likes of Ahsoka and Dooku. But... hey, there's always the chance for a season 2.
Either way, this looks freaking amazing, can't wait for this show.

If dooku does kill yaddle he must cover up his involvement somehow (maybe with help/ encouragement from palps) because the way the Jedi and specifically mace spoke about him at the start of ep 2 was as if they thought he was still good. It’ll be interesting to see how that all unfolds. Can’t wait!!!!

The tree Dooku is standing in front of in the trailer is the one all of the Jedi (including dooku) are conversing around in Yoda’s mysterious dreams in the clone wars. It like showed Dooku talking to Qui Gon and Dooku brought up how they fought Gandarks one times and Yoda was in shock and confused cause he knew Dooku was actually bad
