I am a nordic blonde. After exercise in the gym, I usually relax in the sauna. I shower, wash my hair, put a lot of hair-masque into it, cover with a clean titel or turban and then enter the sauna for minimum 20 minutes. After sauna hair is rinsed with lukewarm water, conditioner put into it and rinsed off with cold water. How would this regime affect african hair?
@@alexischanelle 😆my hair is VERY fine….. I am a nordic blonde and we never have coarse hair and usually the texture of ”baby hair”. It is on the other end of the specrum. I use different products to add volyme. I always envy those with natural volume and curla. Thus, people like me have the same problem as people with african hair (used to joke with my african-cuban friend about it); We need to find specialised hairdressers and special hair treatment products…. However, sauna has health benefits for everybody!😉
African hair isn’t a thing since African hair ranges from fine and straight to curly and coarse 😅 just putting that out there, and that regimen is beneficial to any hair type! Hair loves being steamed every now and then to boost the hydration within the strand, optimal hydration means less breakage and longer moisture retention, good in colder and dryer climates :)

I’m no professional but I think it would be beneficial to coarse hair no matter what your ethnicity is

wyd, sittin up in your room thinkin about steamin? lol i steamed my dreads so i youtubed "do you pose to steam hair"
🤣🤣🤣 that’s a good one!
@@alexischanelle glad to make u laugh friend but i had to lol
Hey Whitney, do you still use this steamer?
Ok where does the steam come from, do I just the conditioning on and a cap then place the Thermal cap on top
Yes the cap produces heat that steams your hair
there is no Steam in that cap. Just heating element
How many hours should I do it?
20mins is good! It also turns off after 20mins so you don’t have to worry about it oversteaming
Thank you! 😍😍
How long do you steam your hair for?
20mins
@@alexischanelle Okay great, thank you!
Where does the water come from to produce steam?
I put a mask or leave in on my hair before using the cap
It’s not a steamer it’s just heat
This is not a steamer its a heating cap.
