If Cinema Summary was in a death game he would be the person analysing everyone else, thus the only way to beat him is to do stuff randomly so that he will never know what you will do next. Sacrifice this person, then cut off your hand to save someone else, only to murder them shortly after. That way no one will know what your next move is
or just be analytical yourself. In such situations the more you know the better but it is still not all... Knowing will not by default save your life, it can only help, but just as with everything else you can never be sure what is act or not, what exactly is this person like etc... It is not about knowing more but knowing how to use the little you know of your advantage keeping the risk as low as possible. It is like a mind game for everyone, both for you and for him. I would say the best information you can have is how to push buttons, since placing people under stress and panic make it a lot easier to predict their moves, they are no longer perfectly reasonable beings, they lean towards animals. From there you should just decide who, how and when knowing your priorities. It is like the fast pasted and more aggressive type of manipulation... It seems to be more effective from what i have seen and it is more used. It is about being patient with the amount of time needed to end the specific stage but not wasting a single moment more. Often you would not know exactly what the other person is like to their core, you only know several basic things including the fact they are human. He probably will not be himself at the moment and it is likely his more human and emotional part will only make his brain doubt and worry and be confused between everything he knows and have to expect. He may try to create some pattern and plan, a list of things he have to check but this will probably only make it harder for him to focus on the current situation itself. In such confusion he may even appear as one of the weakest players. Now, you should only worry not be placed with some psychopath as your enemy

Its also very likely that the m1911 would be the pistol used, as it was the standard military and police pistol just about everywhere in the US from its adoption in 1911 to its being phased out in 1985 by the US military, and was used for many more decades by police. It would have 3-4 rounds in, based on the 3 casings and the 1 shot fired, and depending on whether or not the pistol was chambered before the magazine was inserted, could have either 3 or 4 rounds. You could still use it to eliminate the other team, but only with near-perfect or perfect accuracy, and I seriously doubt any of them have that skill.

I really hate the absurdly long time limit. Making them waste 6 hours off screen doesn't do anything, just give them 4 hours and make them waste an hour if you want to communicate how big the escape room is.
One thing you forgot to mention is that since the cameras are broadcasting the death room to the gamblers that the police if they had of gotten there with the fire-fighters they'd be able to trace the signal back to where it was getting broadcast too. Even if they did escape/abandon the place they were in they'd still leave plenty of evidence to find and arrest the gamblers.

I'm not sure how you could condense the entire story into 30 minutes, but I'd love to see an episode (or even a series) covering the Zero Escape games, specifically the first, 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors. It has one of the most interesting premises for a death game.

17:26 this is a good idea, but remember they have sertain amount of rules, which also means they cant exit the building, this example is similiar to what happend to the first victim, the camera had special fetures which can kill or toture them to death if they dont play the game properly
