Recently heard another choir sing this at a regional high school choir festival and I’ve been listening to this piece everyday since. It’s so mesmerizing and fun to listen to!
Okay but this goes HARRRRDD ⏱️✨🤌🏼 everything is so unique from the rushing feeling to the pauses and clicking like a ticking clock. As much as this seems like rhythmic chaos, I feel once learned it would be so much fun!
My college acapella choir just got the music for this and honestly I’ve never cried while listening to a song in class but this moved me, put my anxiety into words in a way I haven’t been able to myself, thank you for writing it.
i watched a choir sing this at a choir festival i was in a few weeks ago and it was literally the coolest thing i've ever heard i wish my choir had sang this
This randomly came on as I was listening to a playlist of my choir music, and wow, someone needs to show this to my choir director lol. I love this piece, and I hope I can sing it one day!
this is actually quite fun to sing when you remember all the words. After 1½ days of rehearsals this weekend my choir made it to a 75% perfect run-through without looking at the music sheets
my choir did this song and it was so fun! everyone had to have music besides me haha. it was definitely torture on my lungs from recovering from pneumonia but over a 10/10 one of my favorite choir songs i’ve done!!
my choir is doing a time themed concert and I’m so incredibly excited to sing this song!!! thinking about the concept of time is one of my favourite pastimes and this is such an excellent piece that encapsulates so many of those ideas!
My alumni choir recently performed this and after hearing it, my junior wants to do it as her batch song. It's a pity I won't get to perform this since I'm already graduating.
Doing this for Honors Choir in November. I’m so excited!!! We also have TB Dear Theodosia!!!!!! Literally the best possible combo of songs this year!!!!!!
Hi Jennifer! I just wanted to say how much of a fan I am, and my choral group is singing this at our concert tonight! Just wanted to tell you, and this is such a fun (but REALLY hard!) song (as a soprano 1, I love the octave up part so much!) I love your music so much Jennifer! :)
This is genuinely torture but it's also so fun. --A soprano
Sorry and thank you --the composer

Listened to this at my school chorus concert, literally thought the mics were breaking.
Just here to point out to any fellow choir members trying this that you can set videos to play at 0.75x speed on RUclips (and it maintains pitch) 👍😅

I can see pentatonix do this
