The first child is a premium baby. You never know if you will have a second child, so everything is done in the safest/best way possible. Congratulations and thank you for bringing us along for the ride. (Note: it is time to think about the college fund. It needs time for growth.)

I am 72 and have 5 adult daughters and 9 grandkids so I got it tied in a knot at age 35 thinking 5 kids is enough but they are my pride and joy , I was there for each birth and felt it my biggest achievment in life.. Kids are a blessing until they become teenagers hahahaha .. I now have 5 kids in an extension of my GF family whom I love. Families do not always work out so to have another family later in life is not such a bad thing, it keeps ya younger and smile a lot more than being an old grumpy fart..

Mark, congrats! I am 60 this month, we planning children after our wedding. So I understand very much all the consideration you both mentioned. Loved the video. In Canada doctors have mom up walking within 6 hours, and discharged next day. In the Philippines, they tell you 5 years between c sections, only suggest 9 months to year in first world countries. So time to start another next year. 😂😂😂

I am hoping that I am enough to my wife without having a baby. But realize that won’t fly. Still want to do many things ( I am 59 soon) . My family was against me having a baby at such age here in America. But seem to be warming up since my lovely wife ( 29) has been a blessing. Still really not 100 on board. But my wife really needs a baby.

I finally broke down and bought a smartwatch a year ago.. now I walk 10k steps plus each day. Have lost 40 lbs and broke under the 200 lbs mark for the first time since I was 40. NO McDonalds, unless I treat myself at the airport. Fresh Broccoli and Cauliflower with chicken, fish, or Italian pork sausage for breakfast around 10am, then fruit for lunch, and a small dinner around 4-5 pm. No rice.. less bread and less chocolates. No beer, coda pop..

Not to be personal, but just curious I recently just had the boy I’m raising here in the Philippines circumcised at 13 years old. Will you have the baby circumcised so he doesn’t go through that at 13? What are your thoughts thanks.
