These really are fantastic. I'm still loving my blue and gold one. When I went on holiday to New York recently it got a lot of wrist time. The on the fly clasp came in very handy too. Once you've tried a watch out with one, it's really difficult to go back to ones that don't have them.
I just picked up the blue version with the gold accents for $150usd in the back to school sale. What an amazing bit of kit. The quality of the materials used, plus lume, is a fantastic value for money. The bracelet and clasp are wonderful as well. No complaints.
I just received this watch last week. $150 during the sale last sale. This watch is AMAZING. I couldn't understand why people were complaining about the crown being too small. After comparing my watch to other pictures and seeing the crown in other videos. I now see that I received the updated crown. This watch is perfect but I totally agree with you on the color of the date wheel.
It's so beautiful! I'm a big fan of the SeaQ, so I obviously love this Seestern one. And it's very well made. I'll buy my next watch at Christmas, and this one will be one of the contenders 😊 Thanks for the great review, Steve.
Welcome back. Hands down one of the best watches Seetsern makes if not all of all the Aliexpress Brands. That’s great news that they made the crown larger. Definitely a future acquisition for my collection.
I bought the blue and gold version of this watch on the last summer sale for a $155. An ever even better deal on a great watch! Thanks for the review I agree with every point you made.
Thank you for the video. Beautiful watch. I have it and it's a truly lovely watch (black and gold). Great specs and beautifully crafted. I recommend it. Works very well on my 16.5 cm wrist. Good bracelet and better than watches twice the price (and possibly more expensive ones). A dressy watch, if that's what you need, as well as being practical... I also bought a Marlin Duro (Batman) to use as a beater watch as this Seestern is so pretty...have some G-Shocks but getting a bit tired of the large lumps of plastic. Thanks for a lovely review.
Great review Steve. I own the blue version and im very happy with mine. Runs great, and no issues at all. Beautiful watch, well made, great specs, and very good value.
Perfect review of a very nice watch. I really wonder how Seestern is able to make this watch cost less than 2% of the price of the original GO Seaq (rsp: 10.000€)
I picked up one of these early this summer and I love it! My only wish is that there were some half links for a perfect fit. That said, I've been wearing this watch more than any of my others since it arrived - in just over a week so I didn't even have to wait long. Amazing!
I really like this one and will probably get one in the next sale, i just wish they used the Sugess logo instead, it would give it more of a similar vibe to the Glasshutte script style logo on the SeaQ. Would be happy with a closed case back to take a millimetre off as well. Other than that, it looks absolutely fantastic!
They really hit this one out of the park Looks way more expensive than what they're asking and their steel finishing just keeps getting better One change I would like to have seen is a boxed sapphire crystal maybe the bezel is too thick for that effect to be more noticeable Possibly a future mod project for myself Anyways another fantastic review my friend Be well and Thanks for sharing as always 👍
Appreciate it man. I would have liked to see them slim the midcase down a mm or so, then eat that up with a boxed crystal....I think it would look nice that way.
I got the all black one and it's my first Chinese watch. I am really impressed by the quality for the $149 I paid. Luckily I got the version with the updated crown. The clasp on mine is also difficult to close like yours though. I like the bracelet but I would like to change it to other straps. I especially like the tropic rubber and mesh bracelet that you showed. Are the springbars of the S434 fatter/thicker than the usual/generic springbars? Is it as thick as Seiko divers? I am planning on getting some straps with quick release springbars but I read that using thinner spring bars on larger lug holes will damage the lug holes eventually. Also how is the mesh strap from Pagani? Are they any different from the usual cheap mesh straps found online? Do you have any specific recommended mesh straps I could buy? Thanks!
They are pretty standard spring bars, not Seiko fat bars. I've had no issue with normal quick release bars on any of my watches. The pagani mesh is pretty good, but honestly I'm not a mesh bracelet expert...they all seem fine to me. I like the pagani one because it's thicker mesh than the usual ones I see around. I'm eyeing a beads of rice bracelet for this thing ...I think that would look killer.
@@EscapeWheel I always liked the classic design this is based on.... I would settle for a black date wheel, But I would definitely prefer the classic look of no date.... Great colorway on another great execution by Seestern overall. If it had an NH38 and no date, I would order one tomorrow.

Yeah for sure. They spoiled us for sure.
I really need to pick this one up. Honestly, the only thing holding me back was that crown. Now that they've updated it, I've run out of excuses! 😂
I would like the crown to be in silver instead of gold.

I have this same watch with the smaller crown. Have no issues with it. The crown size is just nitpicking. This watch is simply amazing.
Been enjoying my Seestern S435 for half a year now, it's awesome and my most accurate mechanical watch :D

Yeah, I saw those at $155...excellent value. If you haven't gotten it already, you'll love it.
I do have it and do love it.
The intro music always gives me a boost of happy chemicals, yet depresses me at the same time lol. Love themes like this.

Good review on a very good watch. Guess this is in many buying lists...
Cheers Steve, be well mate.
nice looking watch, potential purchase like the look of the all blue version.

Labor exploitation.
what a wonderful political reaction @@TheArkwhaler
Huge profits for one brand...
There has been an upgrade with domed crystal, different crown and different movement

We bought it the same time. I have picked blue with golden details.

Glad they didn't go for a gold frame for the date. White is just nice and subtle.

I think (might be wrong) Seestern did 62mas in the same case shape and it have box crystal.
At least that I have does.
@@Tom_Kowalczuk yup, similar case shape but smaller. It's got a slight more top-hatyy crystal as well 👍
Fastastic review as usual
Are you gonna review Boderry Voyager white dial in Titanium Bracelet?
Steve, now that they have a new version with the ST2130, will you be reviewing it? Like the new gold version.
Probably not....I'm tempted to upgrade mine because the new changes look great, but I'm just not sure....yet...lol

1:1 copy of the Glashütte SeaQ Diver, absolutely a no-go for me.
No doubt a well made watch but it looks more like a clock than a watch…. Something to do with the size of the numbers 🤔 prefer the 38mm SS 62mas
I want solid back
How clear is the crystal? My 62 Mas not that clear.
Better than the 62MAS. Could be better, but it's not an issue for me, personally
nice
I'm looking at getting one of these. Wish it had drilled lugs, though.
I kind of hate the date window.
A black date wheel would have been nice...or no-date at all

A beads of rice bracelet would really give it that classic look getting the original design.
Hmm. Case looks like is was finished hastily with 20 grit sandpaper.
Maybe just the camera or your monitor settings. It's a very fine brushed case. I've seen some rough brushing and this ain't it.
Is it an original design?
It’s a homage of a Glashuette original sea Q.
@@liambyrne3488It's a 1:1 copy, not hommage
no lumed date wheel on thi sone?
Nope
Crown is a tad small though.
The S434 v2 has addressed this. It's a larger crown.
S435 again updated the crown, case, crystal, and movement of the watch.
Ah, that's cool! Thanks for the info! :)@@EscapeWheel
I am hoping they will have a GMT version of this
Fix name of the video, it says “Sugess”
🤦. Thanks for the heads up. Fixed it 🤜
A no date is needed with a pt500 to get it under 11mm. 13mm is too thick.
I have it. The thickness is ok for a diver. I have a small wrist and its not a problem.
There is a thinner version with seagull ST-2130 movement.
Cistern?
Wish i had a divers watch 😢.
Nice nice nice 👍 Wanna get it 4 free as well 😁😆😜
The pronounciation is WROOOONG! There is no SEE-STERN (thats no pseudo-english word; it is GERMAN): but something like SAAY-SHTERN (GERMAN, again)😎
Lol, I'm only 8% German 😂
@@EscapeWheel 🤣🤣🤣 rightright, now you know then, anyway you need to know how to pronounce even if your 80% from Kazakhstan 🤣😎🏁
