I feel her pain. I’m paid hourly, and People in my Job come in an hour late, take, a hour break, hour and a half nap in the break room, and leave 2 hours early and have their friends clock them out. And gets paid for a full 40 hour work week sometimes overtime. Meanwhile I’m literally sweating picking up their work and my boss just lets it all occur. He accepts the crappiest excuses. And those of us with integrity don’t get any recognition, we aren’t appreciated. And when you decide to fall back and begin to become lackadaisical about your work like everyone else then they expect you to sweat for them again without being compensated. 😢
Hell no if they won't fire them for what their doing then they won't fire you for only doing your job nothing's gonna change till it affects the business so let it start messing with the business I bet they get on the slackers your gonna end up burnt out and hating your job boss and co workers I wouldn't be Surprised if you already did

I started my first job at 8 paper boy! 14 to 15 paperboy again @15 got my job permit gas station attendant. At 17 I opened my first business, doing beautiful the dyes!! After job corps, I found The Grate Dead & my mom was so happy! Opened my next business at 21 & it was the nicest head shop on the whole east coast!! Follow your dreams & dont listen to the haters!! You a grate guy & never change my brother!

I work in a similar office environment. Here they use fingerprint punching machine. You've to make sure you're punching regularly while entering and while exiting. If we forget to punch then you're marked absent for the day by HR. A lot of people come late like 11 or 12 but they put their 8 hours daily by compensating for the time and staying in the evening.
I used to work at a place where they would give 100 dollar bonus if YOU SHOW UP ON TIME every single day for the month. I couldn't believe they would offer that. At the end of the month, I was the only one that got the bonus. Everyone complained that THAT GOAL WAS UNREALISTIC 😂😂😂 I was a full-time student working a full-time job at night. Bro if the employer doesn't pay late EVER, you should not be late. Basically, they found out no point in offering the bonus because people that would show up on time are going to show up regardless and to many people that are gunna show up late regardless are gunna have 1 million excuses why they still deserve the bonus.
No incentive if you fail once. You normalize it in your mind, then you'll never be coming in on time. The irony is that it creates the opposite effect.

I think adding more light and making a small investment into creating a space that is not enjoyable but more professional will attract the correct type of people to help with the business. To be honest I have the same issue with my staff with being late. I didn't write people up but the way it works is I have 1 nurse on each location and they work 12 hours. So when the next nurse comes in for their shift the nurse that was on can leave. Ive had people not show up until 40 min into their shift or not show up at all without calling. I don't write up people bc I know that everyone has issues but it is extremely disrespectful when this happens, especially when it leaves me working 36 hours straight. The moral of this, be mindful of your fellow Co workers.
Id fire them immediately. Period.
You really should get the dust off of that old red pen in your desk and start writing these people up!!! More than 15 minutes late, and no phone call, first time, BOOM! 5 minutes late 2-3 times, BOOM write them up let them know they need to be there either EARLY or work someplace else!!

ive never sold on the phone but i know showing up on time is easy and running employees is about talking to them you should make them want you to succeed because in turn they will succeed. boss or manager respect your employees, lead by example, be honest but kind and have open conversation about things positives and negatives in the work place. Delegate with confidence and communicate with your employees more than enough so that everyone is always on the same page.

All the days off and tardiness should not happen. It's nearly impossible to get where this guy is now without handouts.
I haven’t missed a day of work or even been late in two years. There is no excuse, hold yourself to a certain standard and never lower the bar.
after 11 years at my current job i only get 15 paid days off. No excuse for Traffic, sick. etc. after i use up my 120h of vacation time or LOC (part of my 120) i start getting points unless there is a major issue with my heath and a lot of paperwork.

I have been telling you guys for over a year, that EVERY time I text, chat, or call with your team, I have been ignored. I literally was in NYC twice, tried to arrange something ahead of time and got NO response or communication. I STILL haven't gotten a response. I ended up buying a rolex and 3 gold chains from an amazing business that treated me well.
