I know its heaps late but the main problem your having is the headtube angle not the weight When i got the deck i had already been riding an 84 headtube so although i had expected to struggle with the weight i had no issues with it I actually had more issues when i had first hopped on my previous deck which was an aosv4 because of the headtube angle Once you get used to the headtube angle you cant go back to anything less
