My name is Chrome i have been living in y cargo van for 6 years now. I started this lifestyle BROKE and IN DEBT and after 11 months of living the van life i cleared my debt and started to put my life back together and build for a better future. I have turned my original van into a badass camper van that is lifted with all the toys. Over the years i went from being broke and stealth camping in the city and sleeping at walmarts... to now, living fulltime in a jacked up van and driving deep off-grid into the backcountry and living life in the dirt. WOW LIFE HAS CHANGED.
I now have a shop space to keep me busy through the winters here on Canada's westcoast. Went from Van Life to VAN LIFE + SHOP LIFE !!!!!! Come join this crazy van life journey of mine. HIT SUBSCRIBE, trust me its gonna be a WILD RIDE.

I really enjoyed my time in Dawson too. I did some tours with Parks Canada (town and dredge) and I fell in love with it too. I didn’t meet any people, but it looks like a whole lot of fun when you do meet the locals. I’m so glad you’re having fun
My grandfather sailed north to Reindeer herding on same sailing ship as my husband’s grandpa. We have photos and letters they both had about each other. Small world. Big territory. Love the board walks. Looks like a ghost town.
I grew up in Dawson City and it was an amazing time, i loved it so much!
I have met several people who have come to the yukon for a visit, many years later still here. Be careful you might get stuck up here :)
My buddy used to be a bouncer at "The pit" He would scare the big macho dudes they wanted out, by hitting on them.
Ive done the toe-shot, they also get all of my toes when I die. It's in my will.
My mom lived in the same old age home as captain jack just before he died. He was a character.

Dawson has a great music festival every year :) there will be 5-6 times as many people coming to the festival than there are locals.

You said you were taking highway 37 back south correct? We're heading north on 37 from Stewart on the 20th. It would be funny if we spotted your van.
It is a shame we couldn't talk you into joining us on our adventure to head further - to Inuvik and Tuktoyuktuc.
We were herein Dawson City last summer and chickened out on Tuktoyuktuc, this year we went and what an experience. We are now back in Dawson in the morning, we know you have left so we will see you back on island... About October! Safe travels.
