Charlie Adelson, the wealthy south Florida periodontist who managed to elude justice for 9+ years in the 2014 killing of Florida State law professor Dan Markel, was convicted Monday on all counts in his murder.
Charlie’s sentencing is set for December 12th where he’s expected to be sent to state prison for the rest of his natural life.

Since Charlie has been convicted, the charge against Wendi is stronger than ever. It's impossible that Charlie would gave the order to kill his nephews' father without Wendi's approval. Indict Wendi and Donna now.

That's speculation.... not evidence that can be presented in court. The problem is there are no texts, no phone calls that include Wendi, or even mention contacting Wendi.

In fact the wiretaps will be used in her defense. When the bump happens Donna says “ This involves the 2 of us”. She never mentions Wendy nor does Charlie call her. Everything on Wendy is circumstantial. They couldn't even get a wiretap on her never mind an indictment..

Yes if you listen back to tapes that weren’t used in the trial. He talks about selling steroids and talks to his mother about how to get out of speeding tickets by lying and much more besides. He thought he was a law unto himself and his mother encouraged his criminality. Talk about a really sick family.

For all us novice trial junkies - The elephant in the room is this murder doesn’t happen without Donna and and Wendi . Also this is the best coverage out there .
This crime was so senseless and evil. These people hurt generations of families. They had enough money to make visitation possible in the state of Florida. It would have been cheaper to rent or purchase a house in Tallahassee to visit the kids🤦🏽♀️😭
It’s only a $220 round trip air ticket.
I hope the jurors contact the State and tell them what they thought was the best points on evidence to convict Charlie and what they thought about Wendi's testimony.
They are just 12 random folks off the street. Your opinion is about as valuable as theirs.
I lost my dad in 2017. It was the worst thing that's happened to me (until I lost my mom this year). This family may think they love those boys but traumatizing them with not just losing their dad, but in such a brutal way, shows that whoever was part of this hit DO NOT CARE AT ALL about Dan and Wendi's son. I hope everyone involved spends the rest of their lives in prison.

The day after the verdict if I were Donna I’d be begging for a deal, but I don’t think the state is going to offer one.
I really don't like the idea that Donna raise those Dan boys any further she has a very bad influence on everyone. The Markel family is such a better family to raise them and don't you forget they didn't get to see them and visit them for 6 years, so I hope the sister of Dan would raise them they need family who are young and fit enough to raise these children and I hope Dan's parent live near Shelly so they can visit each other easily@@swann433

You can’t avoid the evidence. I think the jurors like most watching just found the defense theory questionable at best and no real evidence to back it up. The evidence did support the states case and their witnesses backed it up. Katie’s testimony made sense, Jeff LaCasses plausible testimony had a big impact. Then the transcripts and videos. I don’t see how any jury whoever it was comprised of could have found him not guilty. So the quick verdict didn’t surprise me. I think it’s sometimes a cop out for lawyers to blame the jury when they lose.

It was Wendi’s spite for her husband that caused all of this. She couldn’t stand the thought of him winning in court and not allowing her to take the kids to live closer to her family.
Yes, and she encouraged her mother to add fuel to the fire of hatred they both fomented. It was their way of family bonding. Chilling.
Wendi imo set Danny up that fateful day by agreeing to meet Danny to discuss the oldest child's next school. She claims she "missed" his call earlier that morning and then got no answer when she called him back. Then she went on with her errands that included driving down Trescott. Was she confirming she wouldn't have to meet him that day?? She never attempted another call to him that day even though the time was ticking on the oldest child starting at the new school. Wendi is the only one who knew Danny's schedule that fateful day and she shared that with Charlie/Donna who shared it with Katie, who shared it with Sigfrado. Danny gave his whole schedule to Wendi for that fateful day because he thought he was truly going to meet up with Wendi. He was set up by her!
JL's schedule was known by WA for the June and July trips; or so WA thought she knew JL's schedule in July. (Watch the last trial.) *Both* trips by SG/LR revolved around JL's schedules (and presumed departures) as well. LR knew and relayed the murder for hire was urgent ... (but, not much detail beyond that). Thus, debatable were the suspects ("wirking") around JL's or DM's schedule. Difficult to say without 1 of 3 saying or remembering something.
And, not know how WA communicated to everyone. Through CA? through KM? Or, directly to hitmen?
Always the chance not all has been revealed that LE may know. Phones, Burner phones, Whatsapp etc.
I think Donna talked Charlie into doing it and then they both talked to Wendi. She was gonna buy a house in tally but Charlie talked her out of it and then Dan was killed.

@STS Nation I had multiple screens on and you had a full panel doing commentary when the judge asked Charlie to remain seated and clearly said all others must stand. Infact the camera zooms in on Charlie as he attempts to stand and the Bailiff reiterates for him to remain seated.

I would love if they could get an interview with Robert Adelson. He bailed on his family years ago.
Robert moved to New York because he married an indian women, a woman of color I might say, she is very very brown skin. Donna and the family didn't approve of his marriage. As a matter of fact his children are very mixed especially his daughter. She is dark and has some kinky curly hair. Robert didn't care and went with his heart and married the love of his life. They have a boy and a girl. I believe he is an ENT very successful doctor and lives a very good life away from all this drama. However, would love to know what he thinks about his messy family. He's the "good" Adelson. Not a bad apple

Grinds me when lawyers denegrates a jury. Jurors take the case seriously and whether or not they "like" the defendent they go by the evidence and presentation. Jurors are not stupid.
If Charlie reads the Tealeaves correctly and sees that Wendy is going down anyway, he could quickly try to get his sentence, reduced and pile on!

Tim is correct about the process of Charlie controlling the conspiracy and using Katie. He found someone who was vulnerable and had access to the people he needed.
Katie wasn’t even slightly vulnerable. She saw herself as a cool gang member side babe. She loved money and having connections with crooked people. She also loved being powerful in terms of helping to effect Dans death. Filthy liar and egotistical to the end.

I agree with you 100%. I don't think Charlie ever cared about Katie - he was scheming and planning the entire time to use her for this murder for hire. Donna I believe was the Puppet Master; Charlie was a momma's boy and would do anything for her & I hope she is indicted next followed by Wendi. Wendi had to have known about the murder! The entire family is EVIL!!

Agree. There was NO previous extortion, he made that up to cover the money trail once the strange investigation attempt to demon Donna happened and did wind up getting them talking. They weren’t sure at the time so more money got paid out…these criminals in suits.

Agree if the state was willing to give her immunity in the beginning, they must’ve realized that her involvement was not to the extent of first-degree murder. Unfortunately, she didn’t take that because her husband was facing the death penalty, and she would have to testify against him. I don’t think it’s fair. She was only a go-between, and in the beginning she believe they were only gonna rough him up let her go for it and go home to her children.

I think Mark Geragos should give Georgia a little more credit. The jury convicted Charlie because she did an amazing job at proving his guilt.

I just have to say that Charlie was not convicted because he was not liked by the jury, he was convicted because of the evidence. Give the jury some credit they saw that his defense was a joke.
The comment about wondering if Wendy knew how lucky she is, I also think you could argue that it wasn’t about her being shielded. Instead that how many could get someone to kill for them.
I don't believe that it was because they hated him. The evidence was overwhelming. No rational person would believe that defense. And it's a working lunch. DA's case is overwhelming. Hope they indict her already.
By the way, I can't believe I would say something to support CA, but in all fairness, you could see when the jury started walking in, he asked, do i stand. I think it was because of the shackles. But I very clearly saw him mouth those words.

The jury sure had alot of questions for Jodi Arias and I think everyone listening to the questions knew that that jury did not believe that ridiculous story that Jodi told!!!!
It was easy to miss but the judge told him to stay seated. The judge said "everyone else stand" when the jury came in. So he was told to remain seated. Which I've not seen before.

When did jury came in with the verdict? Charlie did look over at the bailiff when they said stand I think he asked him should I stand, and I think they told him not to? Someone told him he didn’t have to stand.

Regarding the plan being initiated at the private dinner: wasn’t that July 4th wk-end? SG & LR had already been to Tally in June.
Regarding the grand jury: wouldn’t they need Luis Rivera to testify again? I believe he’s already been transferred back to AZ. Do you think they will transport him again for testify for Grand Jury?
Tim tends to make up 'facts' a lot. The judge instructed Charlie NOT to stand for the verdict though you could see he wanted to. Tim threw out his theory that he was so mad that he didn't stand out of spite. He really needs to focus more on the truth and not throwing out his made-up theories as facts. At least state them as his opinion and NOT truth. It hurts his credibility and he does it often wanting to be seen as so knowledgeable.
The one with the highest ethics and credibility who you can trust every word is Carl. If he speculates,he qualifies it as such, and doesn't try to pass it off as legal truth.
Tim should be made aware of how that practice lowers his reputation status and is how lawyers are regarded as untruthworthy when they say anything for $.

JL was the initial fall guy ... if that backfired then KM (or hitmen) were all fall guys.
JL and KM were not "real" boyfriend/ girlfriend from the start ... both were dated fall of 2013 to summer of 2014 (and 'break ups' were right before/after homicide). CA brings up WA's ex by Halloween of 2013; about 2 weeks after 'dating' and breaks up 2 weeks after murder. WA starts dating JL during "bad" court decisions and denial to move granted and then begins breaking up with him less than 2 weeks before the homicide. (But, mentions an alleged; real or not, 2013 murder plot to the person she will "publicly break up with in a parking lot" and have a talk with a friend at TPD; who will suggest to LE ... JL should be a suspect.)
As Muntz put it ... if CA isn't involved (alone with KM, or with sister WA, or with Adelson family) ... he's the most unluckiest guy on earth ... ✔️
But, WA speaks about a 2013 plan; at least all options explored. (4-9 days later forgets to mention to TPD) But, WA also insinuates a 2014 "murder for hire" possibility (involving "her" family) to TPD during her police interview. The homicide was just before 11:00am. Her family lives 9 hours away! Why would WA even think or bring up ... family? They're at work 9 hours away! (So, WA ... thinks what?) She knows it's a hired hit. So she brings up her brother has a "new" gf. But, smoothly and swiftly ... like clock work ... settles on JL. As a "jeolous" person. 😅
