      Finally some love for sound producers ^^ people really don't realize that they are 50% of what's behind a good recording

      Agreed. How about the video director, always looking at the right musician when it is their time to shine!

      The orchestral performances of the Gimnazija Kranj Symphony Orchestra on the zevnikov channel, especially the Scheherazade, ruclips.net/video/1i6TsIVKByM/видео.html , is exceptional in audio and video recording quality of a live performance. 108K views of this re-mastered version and 2.85M of the original, ruclips.net/video/17lEx0ytE_0/видео.html
      Copeland's "Appalachian Spring" and Dvořák's Number 9 "From the New World" are proof that "exceptional" is the norm for this production company.

    _Why someone did not figure out social distasting for performers before is beyond me. The sound is absolutely incredible IMHO. GOD bless this performance!_ 😍

    This is a new style performance of Beethoven's 5th. The performance is so bright and positive that I can find "5th" is another "Ode to Joy". Beethoven seems to have got the peaceful feeling after tragic and serious struggles in many cases.

    Quite interesting seeing the orchestra using viennese horns and modern trumpets when they usually play with historical brass (at least in the last years).

    • @arsnova3119

      But the kontrabass have gut strings and old bows???

    • @adanmontes6987
      @adanmontes6987 4 года назад +6

      @@arsnova3119 Yes i noticed that. This orchestra plays with a peculiar mix of instruments when it comes to baroque and classical period music. Maybe the change of brass was because of the contingency measures, especially with the baroque trumpets, they're quite large and uncomfortable when it comes to taking out the spit. But I'm sure there's a better explanation.

      Greater perhaps but is it more perfect, more original in conception? I love all of the symphonies and I believe Beethoven himself considered the Eroica his finest symphony. I have a great liking for no 8, a very unusual and original piece. Thank you!

    After a long period of listening to the whole cycle of Mahler's symphonies and Mozart's serenades, this No.5 seems so short, even much shorter, even shorter than Mozart's serenades. And, in terms of sensitivity and musical phrases, it seems to me that Mahler is much closer to Mozart than Beethoven, even when sharing the Romantics' taste for supreme loudness.
