I haven't enjoyed a Death Metal album this much since "Monarchy" or, Job For A Cowboy's "Sun Eater". WOKMN is truly a masterpiece, it flows effortlessly from song to song. Also the use of clean vocals adds a whole new dimension to Rivers Of Nihil's sound, the bass, guitar, and drum work and overall writing and lyrics is truly incredible. I highly recommend this album to anyone, support Rivers Of Nihil by buying some merch!
I wonder if these guys realize how good this album really is. It’s totally next level brilliant stuff. This is going to be an album people go back to years from now.
I ordered this album on vinyl as soon as I heard The Silent Life before it came out. Honestly, Ive been through a lot of shit recently and this record has helped me so much. I really hope I can elaborate in person some day. Thanks
Vocalist shook my hand and then kissed it after the show in Joliet, IL this year. I was like a giddy little school girl. Thanks for the lifelong memory.
I really enjoyed this album it was solid from beginning to end. Iv been hooked since seeing you guys live. That being said I think that atmospheric vibe and build up of the final few songs from Monarchy top this one. Maybe I need to digest this one a little more but just my opinion. Thanks guys for the incredible mucic keep it up!🤘🤘
Man this record is so awesome. It's simple and groove, yet very interesting and brutal. It got so much to discover, even if you have listen to it several times. This will be my death metal record of the year for sure! For the 'making of'-Video I had wished a bit more of actual studio footage. Showing the band tracking the song and stuff. It's way more enjoyable than these long interviews. Even though there interesting.
One of the best albums of all time. Hands down album of the year material. This album fucking delivers. I’ve listened to it countless times and I still get the chills when I hear it. It’s perfect
Just listened to you guys the other night for the first time because of a friends recommendation. Mind is fucking blown...and your entire catalog is just amazing! Would love to see you guys live.
Very, very well done documentary. You can tell from both listening to the album and hearing from the guys, that this album was really from the heart, where emotions that are less aggressive were allowed to come to the front for the first time. Although I am in the minority of not being a huge fan of the album overall (the sax, trumpet and clean vocals are hard to listen to and seem out of place most of the time), I can totally appreciate a bunch of guys wanting to try to do something new, to go into uncharted waters without a life jacket and see what happens. Huge respect for having the courage to just go for it.
This album is soooo fucking good!!! Havent given this band too much of a shot... then listened to this album and was blown away... going back to listen to their last 2, i think? Such a good album from front to back! Love it! Around 8:00-9:00 minutes in, this album was so epic, even biggs didnt realize it until it was damn near through... seems that way for more then 1 band member here... hmm... lol
I swear I've never watched this video before and I know nothing about this band but in my head I thought "purple" right before he said it. I don't even know how....
waiting for a remix where the drums aren't so obviously sampled... Really ruins the record for me, while it's pretty cool musically. Love the fact that you made a documentary about this record though, I feel like this is gonna be huge for the band. I've seen so much positive feedback about the record
Definitely album of the year, and probably one of the best death metal albums of the decade
I would go as far as saying it is the best metal album of the decade.
Gil Millán seeing as how this album is pretty similar to ihsahns 2010 release I can’t say it’s the best of the decade
This album is nothing short of brilliant. Best thing I have heard in a while

An album that truly transcends the musical realm.
"All of the pain that you've felt now isn't real, it never was".
This album is beyond AOTY.
Thanks for the fresh breeze in the death metal scene.
I love making of documentaries. Doesn’t matter the band.
I'm with you on this. Totally a sucker for music
That jaw pop Brody did at 29:25 was kinda brutal.
And thus a masterpiece was born!
Wow what a treat! Thanks for one of the best albums of the year! 🤘🏻
I wonder if these guys realize how good this album really is. It’s totally next level brilliant stuff. This is going to be an album people go back to years from now.
That's how this MASTERPIECE was made!!!
I ordered this album on vinyl as soon as I heard The Silent Life before it came out. Honestly, Ive been through a lot of shit recently and this record has helped me so much. I really hope I can elaborate in person some day. Thanks
one of the best metal albums made in the last decade, hands down. Great band, great energy, awesome creativity and POWER!
I wonder if they knew they were making a masterpiece during this process.
Just got to hear WOKMN live last week and I'm still in awe. This band is going places and I can't wait to see where.
"Jake, what's your favorite color?"
Jake: *Smiles from ear to ear* "Purple"

Hardly a making of, more like a 40 minute interview. Still enjoyable just putting it out there.
Album of the year? Fuck that this album made it into my top five of all time list!
Sickest album released on my Birthday and it's green which is so happened to be my favorite color. Perfect
\m/
One of the best albums of all time. Hands down album of the year material. This album fucking delivers. I’ve listened to it countless times and I still get the chills when I hear it. It’s perfect

Really hoping "The work" is as deep as this album was. 9/10

...I just noticed from the future, December 2021, how many times each member said "The Work". Strange given the title of their latest...

Do u always puke when good bands release great albums?
Great album! Just great!
Fucking magnificant album
Soooo, we could hope for some Dev vocals on the Winter record.
Love the fact that I have a signed copy of Owls
I swear I've never watched this video before and I know nothing about this band but in my head I thought "purple" right before he said it. I don't even know how....
They’re definitely the pink Floyd of death metal.

Love these guys but I dare you to count how many times they all said like

Hey Rivers Of Nihil, are you into Riverside? Cause some parts of WOKMN (beggining of Subtle Change for example) may suggest that you, in fact, are.
I thought “A Home” was about drug use.
