  • Rivers of Nihil is a band that never followed trends or copied another band’s sound. They have been authentic ever since their inception. They proved this with the ground-breaking album, Where Owls Know My Name, and Rivers of Nihil continue surprising fans with every new release.
Recently, Rivers of Nihil released the single, “Sub-Orbital Blues.” This song introduced the band’s writing efforts as a four-piece, introducing bassist Adam Biggs now on singing duties, and guitarist Andy Thomas handling guitars and clean vocals. “Sub-Orbital Blues” is a catchier song, and the band has more singles plus a full-length on the way.
During the tour, Biggs left to welcome the birth of his child. Replacing him is Fallujah vocalist Kyle Schaefer.
In the interview, the band discusses “Sub-Orbital Blues,” the upcoming full-length, and writing music as a four-piece.
Also, sorry my camera kept going in and out of focus. After the interview, I noticed my camera was on a completely different setting than what it usually is.
