I feel like Ben could have seen 3 potential things in the Contomelia Vision. 1. Max 2. Gwen 3. The Omnitrix, because it was literally the best thing that ever happened to him.
The Ultimatrix is the Equivalent of the Mark 1 War machine armour in iron man 2, the base of it is good quality tech but It’s ruined by being “upgraded” by an inferior scientist with the attempt to make the device more “badass”
The "first" time Ben's parents found out about his secrets, it wasn't a part of the main time line. It had the comic book theme with it like the Gwen 10 episode. So Alien Force was right to have them surprised that he had such a secret.

Michael Iv Lol who is Jen 10? And a story following up on Max getting the Omnitrix from the beginning, as it was intended by Xylene, would be interesting. And maybe have Ben turn into a plumber, learning to fight aliens like Max did.

They should have kept Steve Blum as Heatblast and Vilgax because he felt like a true threat and I was intimidated with him both as a kid and as a current 17-year old.

Ultimate Alien Vilgax is just a blunt instrument with some smarts but beyond being one of the strongest villains in the series he's just a blunt instrument with no charm or menace to make up for it. Omniverse Vilgax is a schemer villain who always has some larger plan in mind, but the downside of that is that we almost never get to see him fight, heck he was almost killed by Eon after he was tackled and nearly stabbed in the face, and it doesn't help that he wets himself when he sees Ma Vreedle, a villain who doesn't even come close to living up to her own hype.
Looking at this comment and the replies, I agree. I do think Steve burns should have stayed. He made vilgax sound more intimidating in the original show. The original show never did explain what ever happened to vilgax after his ship went down, did it? Well, I know he survived by seeing him in later episodes and seasons, but, 'how' did he survive?

Because she understands the grave responsibility and dangers that come with such power. If she had taken the charms, she would becomes a constant target of enemies who would also try to attack her family and close ones just to get to her and the charms.
One thing I hated was how COMPLETELY incompetent Kevin and Gwen were in fights alongside Ben. A typical fight with them is Kevin absorbing metal and rushing in and getting one shotted, Gwen then retaliates and gets knocked unconscious, Ben turns into an alien and stops them, and Gwen potentially shields them all from an explosion.

Thats literally the biggest failure of his eyes,, the fact that his most powerful transformation couldnt save everyone from being dead, grandpa max, rook, kevin, gwen, all dead. And thats why ben sees a smoothy. Omniverse had some really good connections as well. Ben literally regrets not being able to save the universe every day, and thats what eats him every time. It makes perfect sense as to why that takes up the most value in his life, because its THE ONLY TIME ben has ever lost and thats why he did not see a family or friend.

Ben’s parents finding out about the omnitrix wasn’t retconned. It was confirmed by Dwayne and even the episode itself said that the entire episode, “Goodbye and Good Ridance”, was like Gwen 10- a what if? Scenario. It was an alternate timeline so in the main timeline Ben’s parents never found out about the Omnitrix until Alien Force “Grounded”
I wish they would have made some of the aliens Ben used more unstable to use. During the Alien Force “Save The Last Dance”, Ben was slowly losing control of Big Chill due to its need to have offspring. I wish the writers would have made some of Ben’s aliens have unstable personalities or instincts. Like how Rath always becomes angry, maybe some of his aliens would want to cause more destruction, or have split personalities influencing his mind. The dynamic of Ben being wary of some transformations due to not wanting to lose control would have been interesting to see.
Ultimate Heatblast, the last episode of Omniverse, there are many things i would change. And i'm happy to know that there is someone else who isn't a fan of the fusions with ben 10,000. I have a little question, do you think it would have been a good idea to have a Ben 10,000 series? Many subscribers have asked me about it but i'm not really the biggest fan of the idea.
I'd say no since it would mean more aliens they have to juggle. And give screen time. And on top of that they'd need a new fourth Ben 10,000 since Ben Prime met Ben 10,000, Ultimate Ben, and Ben 10K. So by the rules of the series we'd have to get a totally new Ben 10,000 with different powers then them. I do agree I wish we got more Ultimate Alien forms. Like Ultimats Heatblast, Diamondhead, Four Arms, Blitzwolfer and so on.
I think the series lost its touch after Dwayne McDuffie left the series and, sadly, passed away. From watching your previous videos on Ben 10, it just opened my eyes to McDuffie and his talents. It was sad to see the series end in the way it did because there was so much potential for the show that was just wasted in the end. Anyway, great video and keep it up!
Omniverse had awsome ideas but the execution was poor. And I agree about the Ben vs. Vilgax in UA. To me, It would have been better if Ben didn't use Ascalon at all.

OMG Kuro you just blew my mind. I didn’t think I needed an episode showing young Ben removing the omnitrix in omniverse. Now I’m pissed it never happened. That would’ve been a great way to close off the the Prime series before going into the reboot
I dunno, I always figured Bloxx was a synthetic species, similar to the Galvanic Mechamorphs. It'd make a lot more sense, the wacky design, the overall utility, which isnt believable to appear in nature, but makes perfect sense if it was designed. Also Skurd was amazing.
One little nitpick about Alien Force and onward is the little red beeping before the watch timed out. Why did they remove it? I actually kinda liked it being there.
@@chromaticgreys8320 ben never had master control for more than a few battles, the Omnitrix in AF and onwards was power based so there wasn't a timeout period.
The rooters arc was actually my favorite part of omniverse so far. The only way I could like it more is if it didn't come at the expense of retconning Kevin's character.
@@jantheking7028 Ben 10,000 was bens canonical future in the original series and in that timeline, Kevin 11,000 was evil and still a villain in in the null void. Unless future Gwen some caused a butterfly effect and erased the timeline. That version of Kevin also had a son who wasn't cousins with Ken.

It’s things like that which overall ruined omniverse for me. The rooters were an overload of retcons that just went insane with how much it changed/negated/pretend didn’t happen.

To be honest I feel the final battle against Vilgax should’ve made Ben go through all of his ultimate forms starting with swamp fire, then humongosaur, then echo echo, then big chill, then wild mutt, then cannonbolt, and maybe a final transformation to heatblast, alien x, or maybe even chromostone since they are very important aliens to Ben as the first is his first alien, the second is his strongest alien, and the third is the alien that he had to sacrifice in order to stop vilgax last time or even make the final blow Ben himself to show ben’s true power or will. Though that’s just my idea though I feel one thing that would’ve been more powerful is in Ultimate Alien, Andreas should’ve died, I felt out of every alien that agregor killed and absorbed Andreas made the biggest sacrifice so just reviving him at the end is kinda bullshit imo, though if his death was permanent it could’ve not only made the end of that arc less slap in the face, but maybe they could’ve had a scene where argit had some guilt or sadness for basically killing an alien and maybe questioning where’s Andreas in a panic or something, then maybe it could’ve changed argit from an asshole who doesn’t really care about the consequences to an asshole who atleast wants to not hurt anyone, hell maybe no one blames argit for it but he blames himself. Just an idea
TLord I loved Andreas as a character. I do agree that there would have been more of an impact if the Andromeda aliens died, but I think what the writers should have done is don’t kill Andreas in the episode he appeared in and keep them all alive until the end of the Agregor Arc and then all of them sacrifice themselves in some way to defeat Agregor, each with their own parting words, such as Andreas saying goodbye to Argit(like you said, having an impact on him) and having Galapagos being the last to go, thanking Ben for all he’s done for them. And personally, I don’t mind Bloxx. It’s the aliens with no purpose except for jokes, The Worst and Walkatrout, that I think shouldn’t have been in the series.
I'm glad someone else thinks Ultimate Alien is the best Ben 10 series. It always seems like everyone says that after the original it just became trash. But as you said Ultimate Alien especially season one was the most concise and relatable story.

I think with the first point u made about the omnitrix being taken off, is more about being taken off my force by some one who doesn't have access. The omnitrix can be taken off easily of Azmuth or Ben choose it. Take the time when Ben took off the omnitrix at the end of alien force; he deactivated the coupling mechanism that joined the omnitrix to him. However if Vilgax tried to take it off by force, then it won't come on so easily, like he did in the episode of the original series, when Vilgax first came to Earth
Yeah I can agree with all but Ultimate Ben... Ben 10 has a few issues. Also the Omniverse Omnitrix being to be easily taken off was because they were updated versions that could be used by ben's biometric and dna profiling to be only used by a Ben Tennyson.
Yeah, Ultimate Ben was probably the worst in my opinion. As cool as the concept might be, I liked the original Ben 10,000 because he was pretty much better. And, hearing that Ben 10: Alien Force's future was Ultimate Ben, it put the nail on the coffin for me. I quit the show cold turkey. The new shows dragged on, and I can understand the original show wasn't perfect, but it did well in keeping me interested. Nothing was off limits, and a majority of the time it never explained how or why things happened. Like, where does magic come from? Who knows, who cares, it's cool and gives Gwen some character development. Introducing Ben's watch's ability to get more alien DNA through contact in a werewolf-esc episode was amazing. Ghost Freak gaining sentience was jaw dropping and cool. There were just so many original ideas. And, the best part is stories were never in a chronological order. You could have an episode about the Templars, and then a few episodes for Vilgax, Keven, or some other random thing, and then pick back up with the Templars again and it would feel completely natural. This... didn't happen with Ben 10 Alien Force, and Ultimate Alien was no better. Almost all of their episodes focused on one thing, and then when it was done there was almost nothing of context to focus on after that. The magic that was in the original is all now just aliens. If there is anything ever weird occurring, it's aliens. Keven couldn't be a mutant kid, he's part alien. Dr Animo couldn't just be a messed up scientist, he uses nothing but alien technology. It kinda got one note. I love the more recent Ben 10 though (not Omniverse). The newer kid friendly one seems kinda neat, and comical.

Xristo Damqnov “Mature” does NOT automatically equal “better”. Alien Force tried to take everything from the original and make it more for teenagers, with the alien invasions, the templar conspiracies, the constant use of dark night settings. As “cool” as it might sound, from a show that explored multiple areas, from aliens to mutants to robots to magic, they stripped away all of it for a single story, which doesn’t have much going on since we don’t really have a reason to care about other than “yet another alien threat against the world”. Veeery tiresome after a few episodes. Ben wasn’t anymore the average kid you could see learning with you about Omnitrix and etc, he simply became an adult who can pretty much do everything on his own with no struggles. He became a basic hero. The same thing with Gwen, and their back-and-forth sibling dynamic was pretty much gone. The only character that comes off as interesting is Kevin, who was a pretty big villain in previous seasons and still faces conflicts with his own ethics but manages to grow out of his shell throughout the series. Yes, the dialogue is good and the writing is decent, but so were both in the classic and I dare say even better, because meanwhile Alien Force kept trying to look adult, classic didn’t waste time with it and pulled the adult part over the course of the show, with Ben and others constantly growing as child characters and showing bigger signs of maturity, and all of that without going too stale or too ridiculous.
I think Goodbye and Good Riddance isn't cannon so Carl never knew about the omnintrix until Alien Force.Still a good video by the way. You don't see that many people recognizing Ben 10 for the amazing series it is.
Special fun fact: "Goodbye and Good Ridance" takes place in another timeline because The Omniverse flashbacks when Ben was 11 years old, takes place a year after the events of the Original series + The Secret of the Omnitrix movie. So “The Secret of the Omnitrix” movie takes place after “VS. The Negative 10″.

I honestly have a feeling that there's a reason for the constant retcons, like in 1 episode Ben mysteriously goes into the past for no reason, somehow retaining his memory and somehow instead of Gwen staying behind she instead goes for the Omnitrix herself but in the next episode everything's fine and dandy. Or how you yourself showed that Ben's parents knew about the Omnitrix was before, but that was retconned into them having never known until Alien Force. I think that the writers had an idea for Celestialsapiens the whole time, and had always had the idea in their mind that 1 simple action of theirs could change a specific part of history but keep things the same, and with the fact that each Celestialsapien has 3 different minds they're bound to make mistakes when creating changes, like how when in a certain Timeline everything is reversed and changed to where Gwen got the Omnitrix and later Maxwell, but they made a small mistake where Ben still had the memories of the previous timeline
These episodes weren't meant to be canon. They were meant to be What if episodes, like what if gwen got the omnitrix or what if ben went back to school and his parents found out
1) In fairness the Ultimatrix mechanics was kinda flawed, as mentioned by Azmuth. 2) I had a similar idea about "Ascalon Aliens", also love your design 6:20. 3) I like to think that Ben turned into those forms when the scene changes to Maultruent. 4) There's still a chance we could see Ben remove the watch as a kid when the new theatrical movie comes out... maybe.

Alien Xs species have a nearly infinite(maybe not that long but we can agree that a few billion years isn't that old from their perspective) lifespan considering they can control reality as they know it. What the ultramatrix does is artificially simulate how the species would develop if they were constantly at war for billions for years. The problem with this process and why it won't work on alien X is in order for evolution to take place many generations of that species would have to pass in order to ensure only the best traits are passed on. In other words ultimate Alien X can't exist because evolution cannot take place in within a single lifetime.
How would you react on Ben 10 getting the Samurai Jack treatment because of 5 Years Later? (Having Ben on the path of 10,000 on Adult Swim with darker tones , and using Vilgax’s DNA against him with the “leaving him in pieces” quote in the Classic series)
Kinda fifty fifty since the whole reboot happened. Would be awesome to see. But they would have to make this new Ben different from Ben 10K since they established that meeting his future self changes Prime Ben's future. So the Biomnitrix wouldn't be see. Not that I really want that back since aside from Atomic X wasn't a fan of any of the forms.

Yeah themes of Alien Force and Ultimate Alien were balanced enough to compete the Anime and it should have been continued more though. Anime Ben 10 could have been similar to AF/UA.
Daniel Frieka I love most his points. I do think that fight in ultimate alien represented the character though. He was going to defeat Vilgax but at what cost. It dealt with morality and what it to be a hero. I love that fight. You know with other powerful characters they would have them go back and forth to absurd power. That kinda dumb
I'd have liked it if Kevin got a redemption arc in Season 1 of Alien Force. Especially since the writers missed a great opportunity to compare Kevin's energy absorption to Cash's power glove.
I think another problem with the franchise is how underused some of the aliens that were introduced later in the original series were. In season 3 and 4 of the original series some of my favorite aliens were introduced and didn't appear until Omniverse, which showed those aliens about 5-7 years after they appeared, which sucks. Aliens like Eye guy and ditto only appeared twice in the Oroginal and aliens like BlitzWolfer, Frankenstrike, and Snare-Oh had litterly only 1 appearance in the original. They had 2 full series they could had reintroduced them in but they chose not to, and that's something that really annoys to this day, this problem also continued with some aliens introduced in ultimate alien
Step 1: Get rid of Kai and bring Julie back Btw, the last OS episode isn't Canon (it's a What If, like the Ep. Gwen 10), so his Parents learning about the Omnitrix technically isn't a Retcon. I always thought that Ben sees a giant Smoothies is more deeper than "Haha giant smoothies". I mean when Ben recreates his universe he claimed that smoothies flavor are different now. So when he sees a giant smoothies, I think writers tried to imply that smoothies is a reminder to Ben that he lost all his friends and family and everyone is a copy now

Straight up Kurro. Future Gwen who possesses those ten charms was one my favorite characters ever just because of how awesome she is. I like the 2nd alternate ben 10k, especially like the idea you suggested, but gwen had so much potential and she was ultimately wasted. I was also a big fan of kevin since he had the most interesting arc out of the main three characters and they practically tossed him aside (along with gwen) in omniverse. I would have given him an ability similar to the one you gave alternate ben 10k. Morphing parts of his body at will.

Yeah, my personal headcanon is that the way we see things unfolding in the final episode of Omniverse is just the way that Ben tells people the story, and because of his tendency to make dumb jokes in order to not need to convey his emotions, he simply claimed that what he saw was Mr. Smoothie even though it wasn't.
I agree with everything in this Video! So Kuro, I actually have my own 3 Ideas to fix Ben 10. 1. Make the Damn Series good enough for Old Viewers Or A.K.A., Make a Ben 10 Series that allows Mature Things. Old Viewers should be able to enjoy the same Franchise they once did if the Franchise had a Version of the Ben 10 Series that could apply to the More Mature Audience. Thus making the Show More Popular once again, bringing the Older Viewers who have experienced more mature scenarios in life enough to know what exactly is going on. 2. Let us see the lives of Ben's Aliens, when he isn't using them. Kinda something like Svtfoe did with Star's Wand. I dunno, It seemed pretty interesting. I'll edit this part if I ever think of another point. 3. Give Ben a New Love Interest that doesn't love him for his Powers, That won't break up with him because of stupid Shit, Don't give Ben another Harem like Omniverse Pretty much did that one time, and Introduce some Old characters back into the show like Jonesy! We never did get to know how Jonesy found out about Ben's Powers In the first place.
Shadow Springtrap You do know that "Ben's Aliens" doesn't have a live, right? They aren't alive, nor real entities. The Omnitrix only has the DNA sequence saved in its Data Base, and create the body at the moment its needed.
Shadow Springtrap they are DNA samples, not the actual alien living inside the watch. With Star, that is Magic so it makes sense as to why her spells are alive
Hwan Niggles one could argue in Ultimate Alien, the Ultimatrix suffered from a glitch with the evolutionary function which caused his Ultimates/blank slates to have their own personalities which made them pretty much alive. But there's a counter to my claim that it was just a glitch, not meant to happen. But it is possible that could just be another retcon because in "Destroy All Aliens." Those blank slates are alive in a simulated environment in the Omnitrix.
Ideally, Omniverse would have tied up every loose end, had Ben actually act like a hero who's had years of growth, had a fight were Ben showed mastery of the omnitrix, have no writer biases carried into the show and much much more. There's a lot of potential that the Ben 10 franchise never took advantage of but there's also a lot that it did
I like the fusions but okay. I think it amplifies his super hero personna. The way I see it, imagine an alien with the omnitrix turning into a human. Yes that would be the peak example of a human, but it wouldn't seem that super. The hybrids allow bens forms to seem unique, and seem more super heroey.
I never payed much attention past the 10 year old version. But looking back this was a really good show that didn't deserve all the bad things that happened to it

I'd agree with the one about showing us Ben's last adventure before taking off the Omnitrix, but I think we've already seen it. It's highly likely he decided to take it off after Malware removed Feedback from the Omnitrix.
I don't get why they didn't see the true forms of the Contemalia. Ben and other various characters see the true forms of other higher dimensional beings like the Nalgians, Celestialsapians, and Dagon so many times, but this one time in the finale, they just can't for no real reason? It just really upsets me because the probable real reason was that they didn't feel like making a new character design and went with the mediocre joke instead.
What if Ben was transformed into Alien X when he saw the contomelia would he see them normally because Alien X is now omnipotent since Belicus and Serena gave control of Alien X to Ben ? What are your thoughts on this statement ?
Personally, I would have loved it if Ben's Contemilia vision was Gwen as a nice full circle moment. When the show started, Ben could hardly stand Gwen. But over time, Ben came to trust Gwen above all other. A prime example of which being when seventeen year old Ben switched bodies with eleven year old Ben and seventeen year old Ben told Gwen to find him in the future instead of Max who would already be there. Another example would be when Verdona assumed that Ben and Gwen were siblings. Knowing that Anodites have telepathy and Verdona is not shy about using her powers casually on others, we can assume that she red Ben and Gwen's minds and got confused because that's how the two view each other.
I agree with all point you made but a couple more points: Air the episodes of Omniverse in a proper order that makes sense in the continuity. Explain where the second Omnitrix came from in the episode from the OG series titled 'Ken 10'. If that version of Ben 10K doesn't take the Omnitrix and he gives Ken an Omnitrix for his birthday, where did it come from? I doubt Azmuth would have a made another watch just as birthday present. TOAA 5501 the part where you mentioned the omnitrix on Ben 10,000 looking more like a gauntlet was probably due to him wearing the same omnitrix all his life it was merging more with his DNA.
Concerning Ken's Omnitrix I mean Ben 10K made the Biomnitrix so it's not impossible to think origonal Ben 10,000 was able to make a copy of the watch he has had on for years to study. He even limited Ken to forms that weren't to combat heavy to keep his son safe at the start. Kinda dumb to me but made some sense. He knows how rough battles can be and the writers didn't want to just make Ken a copy of his dad with the same original ten transformations.

Original Series finale was Ben vs Vilgax Alien Force finale was Ben vs Vilgax Ultimate Alien finale was Ben vs Vilgax Therefore, Omniverse finale *SHOULD'VE BEEN* Ben vs Vilgax. It's thematic and it's consistent. But no. Instead, it's Ben vs Random Clock dude.
0:46 ironically Bloxx is one of the few things i genuinely liked of Omniverse 2:54 The worst part is that that primus episode gave an easy way to say why it would just be easily removable: Azmuth, being the creator, just programmed it so it will be taken of by command if he desires. And the ultimatrix being even more easier to remove could have been among the arguments azmuth could say why the ltimatrix is inferior.
I didn’t like the black suit plumbers. They had a cool idea to a degree but pulling Kevin into their group? Making the Osmosians fake? No bueno. I’d also like more good ultimate aliens. How many did we get? I think I count 6. There’s more bad ultimate aliens! EDIT: Oh, and the five aliens Agregor was hunting? Ben got their DNA so he should’ve used ultimate versions of those aliens in his fight against Kevin 11 v.2 (or v.3 since Omniverse had a Kevin 11 made of the alien monsters.) or maybe ultimate versions of the available original 10. Maybe as a “we’ve fought like this before, except one of us grew from our experiences” or something.

Ben seeing Grandpa Max as his Contomelia Vision would have made the last episode of the original story line fantastic. One thing i always wanted in the show was Ben wearing Omnitrix on one hand and Ultimatrix on the other hand ..doubling his power as the Ultimatrix was not made by Azmuth and wasnt that good..but wearing Ultimatrix on one hand and omnitrix on the other would have so good ..but what do i get after Omniverse?. . . . . . Making them look like Ben's classic aliens would add so much depth. It's already heavily implied that Ben got bullied and the omnitrix made him feel like he was something more than a loser. Even NW Ben's universe implies this.
Ooooh, I like the idea of the Contimelia looking like Ben's aliens. I feel that Ben has a very close connection to his alien forms, to the point where he considers them extensions of himself, just lookat the way Ben reacted to Feedback being destroyed. Which aliens would Ben like the most though? Since there's three Contimelia, I'm thinking Feedback, Heatblast and Diamondhead.
I didn't really like Ultimate Alien as much because Ben went from being a serious, calm, and responsible individual into a cocky, erratic, and uncaring one. Don't believe me? Watch the Finale of Alien Force, and the first episode of Ultimate Alien. It was so frustrating and disappointing to see a character with as much charm surrounding him, who has had so many adventures, personal growth, and other-worldly experiences, be converted into the dick head that he was in UA. It was so awesome seeing my childhood hero become *that* hero that I always aspired to be like, but then he just reverted back to his original series roots. Sure, he had moments where I saw glimpses of AF Ben, but most of the time he just acted immature and impatient. Sure he is only 16, but come on. Other than that, I really liked the video and agreed with everything you said, it's nice to see someone else praise the show like I have been watching for a majority of my life.
I didn't like Ultimate Alien because it always seemed to me like less of its own show and more a spin- off of Alien Force, which I loved. Plus the main premise was never utilized well, and the second season pissed me off with random filler episodes that went all over the place tone- wise, and a main storyline that wasn't all that intriguing.
Nope Mang exactly I loved him on alien force because it felt like a natural progression for Ben, he wasn't going to stay immature and braindead his whole life, as we see in his future, so that Ben made sense, then because of network demand or whatever they rebooted his personality to become kid been again but even worse, only taking his bad personality traits and multiplying them by 20.
@ NinjaTyler At the time of Alien Force Season 3, it was both network demand AND fan demand that caused the writers to undo Ben's character development. Only now, thanks to guys like Kuro, are the fans starting to see sense when it comes to storytelling.
Wasn't that season 3 of alien force, the season before ultimate (where Kevin was all mishmashed)? Alien force didn't have as good of ratings as the original so they made Ben more like the original only even less mature. Come ultimate alien they decided to mature him a bit, but still not as mature as the beginning of alien force. They brought Ben too close too his full development in alien force that he would have been static had been started alien force less mature, but grown to the season 1/2 alien force Ben it would have been great.
I agree with everything in this video. Here's some other things I would have done. Some of it seems a bit dark, but there has been death and rage in the series, so I would go with it. 1. Near the end of the series, have Kevin go evil and have him fight with Ben. In the fight, he injures Gwen or Rook and Ben loses his shit and beats him to a pulp, until he is stopped at the last second. Kevin realizes what he's done and later he saves Ben from Vilgax and they both fight him, in which Vilgax kills Kevin, ending his story arc. 2. Have Vilgax be the final villain, instead of Maltruant. Same story with the Contamelia, but have Gwen and Max also be there with Ben and Rook. Also, have Ben fight Vilgax one on one with his original ten aliens, out of nostalgia.
6:46 i am adding to the anticlimatic vilgax fight, have ben actually do better when dealign with ultimate aggregaor. he only used vines to trap aggregor and let his younger self do the heavy work. ULTIMATE SWAMPFIRE DIDN'T EVEN TRIY TO SHOOT FLAMES (in fact i am sure the only time he does is in his deabut....)
Number 5 is the worst one for me because there is a very simple way to fix it that I wish the writers would have used since it's actually CANON. In Secrets of The Omnitrix we see Azmuth disable the self destruct by removing the core of the omnitrix or whatever you call the dial. On Primus the core could have just popped out and left the actual band on Ben's wrist and then when it gets to Azmuth we see that Azmuth placed it into a duplicate band that he would just say he had lying around on Primus or in his lab somewhere in case a situation like that ever happened. When Ben gives the omnitrix maybe instead he could have removed the core and given it to Vilgax who planned to reverse engineer the actual band part or maybe he stole the band from Azmuth back on Primus and then Ben blows it up. You could also just have Ben get the ultimatrix by removing the core from it and placing it into the omnitrix. That way you can get the ultimate forms without changing the look of the watch which I think is better because I feel like a gauntlet like the ultimatric would just get annoying fast whenever you place your hand on a table and it bumps or something like that.
i dont know if you ever noticed, because it certainly took me a while to, but snare-oh and frankenstrike are actually absent from the omniverse scene too!
If I had the chance, I would remake Omniverse entirely. As you sad, there were some great ideas in the show, but their implementation wasn't good enough. Plus, sometimes Omniverse don't feel like a show from the original Ben 10 saga ... it's so different that (for me) it feels like a reboot or something ...
Honestly I'd love to see a "true" Ben prime, around mid 20s with the full powers of the Omnitrix at his disposal. (I should note this is sort of ignoring anything after ultimate alien) From the very first episode onwards we see Ben getting drastically more powerful (before he got the watch he couldn't escape two kids his age, after just a few weeks with the watch he could dodge lasers while in human form) which makes me believe that every time the Omnitrix changes back it's actually changing his alien form into his human form exactly as he was before changing (like reloading a backup) but the Omnitrix's nature is to turn into the best possible version, so every time he transforms the watch subtly improves his DNA so that physically he is at peak performance. So if at 10 he can dodge lasers, and at 16 fight through an army of aliens, how strong would human version be at 25? Likewise his aliens would also be in their most powerful age, like 4 arms being stronger than an adult female version at the equivalent age of 16 would be way stronger at 25. He wouldn't have any fancy transformation abilities like Ultimate Ben or Ben 10k, but maybe he's started to pick up a few magic spells like ultimate Ben. Meaning he would wipe the floor against the vilgax from his first summer, he would've taken over Max's spot as the best plumber and goes around the galaxy fighting aliens too powerful for the regular plumbers. The actual plot / arch would then be max dying which is the last straw ontop of being bored of always being the best (going off his competitive nature from the original show) and goes off for self study, leaving the original watch he had Azmuth rebuilt to Gwen. The first episode would first setup this lore and then show Gwen struggling to keep up, as although she is naturally better with the aliens, she lacks the experience and mind of Ben. She would be stuck with the original 20 ish aliens on the original watch except for Alien X (original Ben 10 + alien force, same model just a retexturing) but first the designs would be tailored to her and she would keep her magic, such as a wildvine who can control plants and make floating platforms to grapple onto or a four arms who could summon weapons to fight with. Meanwhile they would also be searching for Ben, who had gone back in time and was just watching his 10 year old self. Episode 2 would then be Ben returning to his actual time period but still generally avoiding everyone and living in the null void, where everything is giving him an extremely wide berth. Kevin learns of this through connections and he and gwen track him down. Ben is like "I'm not going back" and it leads to Gwen challenging Ben to a fight, which Ben easily wins. He then goes "where does it all end? I'm tired of fighting now and yet I can't just leave because I can't sit back when I could be helping" and eventually decides to give up the watch to Gwen, but not before she's fully ready. Each episode after that would be Ben teaching Gwen everything he knows about the groups of aliens (such as heatblast, wildvine and swampfire) and basically going "Ben knows alot about every single one of his transformations, and once again Gwen realises she underestimated his abilities". There would be 10 transformation based episode which would basically end with Gwen having to face the various villains from the shows and using her own style to beat them, showing that she is learning from Ben but also not just copying him. The final episode would be Ben and Gwen fighting and it being way more even, but being interrupted by something new. This monster would be the same species as dagon and would be looking for revenge, the two have to work together and basically be beaten to a pulp, with Ben using the omnitrix to scan it. But because it is energy he would just gets its powers, like vilgax, which would carry over to his aliens just like Gwen, who couldn't scan it due to her omnitrix not being powerful enough. He would then be strong enough to actually damage the monster, big fight happens which spans the entire galaxy and visiting other planets like Galvin prime with it ending with Ben turning into ultimate alien X, which would be enhanced by the dagon like powers (the omnitrix would realise the powers would kill alien X and automatically turn into ultimate version). But due to the power of enhanced alien X the other celestial sapiens get involved, who would violently strip away his powers leaving him as a weird hybrid of alien X, dagon and human, with barely any energy. As he was already transformed the omnitrix still thinks he was in alien form and tries to time out but can't because he's already sort of human and would short circuit, meaning he is permanently stuck. It would then end with Ben unable to use the omnitrix ever again and the true Omnitrix stuck on Ben, leaving Gwen with the original and the responsibility to be the next ben
No epic fight should end with “You stabbed me!”

The "first" time Ben's parents found out about his secrets, it wasn't a part of the main time line. It had the comic book theme with it like the Gwen 10 episode. So Alien Force was right to have them surprised that he had such a secret.

Ultimate Alien Vilgax is just a blunt instrument with some smarts but beyond being one of the strongest villains in the series he's just a blunt instrument with no charm or menace to make up for it.
Omniverse Vilgax is a schemer villain who always has some larger plan in mind, but the downside of that is that we almost never get to see him fight, heck he was almost killed by Eon after he was tackled and nearly stabbed in the face, and it doesn't help that he wets himself when he sees Ma Vreedle, a villain who doesn't even come close to living up to her own hype.

One thing I hated was how COMPLETELY incompetent Kevin and Gwen were in fights alongside Ben. A typical fight with them is Kevin absorbing metal and rushing in and getting one shotted, Gwen then retaliates and gets knocked unconscious, Ben turns into an alien and stops them, and Gwen potentially shields them all from an explosion.
I mean to be honest, kevin was always below even rath/four-arm so yeah... couldn't do much. Giving him better materials might have been good though

And thats why ben sees a smoothy. Omniverse had some really good connections as well. Ben literally regrets not being able to save the universe every day, and thats what eats him every time. It makes perfect sense as to why that takes up the most value in his life, because its THE ONLY TIME ben has ever lost and thats why he did not see a family or friend.

Ben’s parents finding out about the omnitrix wasn’t retconned. It was confirmed by Dwayne and even the episode itself said that the entire episode, “Goodbye and Good Ridance”, was like Gwen 10- a what if? Scenario. It was an alternate timeline so in the main timeline Ben’s parents never found out about the Omnitrix until Alien Force “Grounded”

I wish they would have made some of the aliens Ben used more unstable to use. During the Alien Force “Save The Last Dance”, Ben was slowly losing control of Big Chill due to its need to have offspring. I wish the writers would have made some of Ben’s aliens have unstable personalities or instincts. Like how Rath always becomes angry, maybe some of his aliens would want to cause more destruction, or have split personalities influencing his mind. The dynamic of Ben being wary of some transformations due to not wanting to lose control would have been interesting to see.
Save the Best dance has a high chance of being my favorite AF episode.

Ultimate Heatblast, the last episode of Omniverse, there are many things i would change. And i'm happy to know that there is someone else who isn't a fan of the fusions with ben 10,000. I have a little question, do you think it would have been a good idea to have a Ben 10,000 series? Many subscribers have asked me about it but i'm not really the biggest fan of the idea.

I'd say no since it would mean more aliens they have to juggle. And give screen time. And on top of that they'd need a new fourth Ben 10,000 since Ben Prime met Ben 10,000, Ultimate Ben, and Ben 10K. So by the rules of the series we'd have to get a totally new Ben 10,000 with different powers then them. I do agree I wish we got more Ultimate Alien forms. Like Ultimats Heatblast, Diamondhead, Four Arms, Blitzwolfer and so on.
I think the series lost its touch after Dwayne McDuffie left the series and, sadly, passed away. From watching your previous videos on Ben 10, it just opened my eyes to McDuffie and his talents. It was sad to see the series end in the way it did because there was so much potential for the show that was just wasted in the end. Anyway, great video and keep it up!

I dunno, I always figured Bloxx was a synthetic species, similar to the Galvanic Mechamorphs. It'd make a lot more sense, the wacky design, the overall utility, which isnt believable to appear in nature, but makes perfect sense if it was designed.

The retcon I hated the most was the Rooters storyline, like I just hated that storyline all together, Ragnarok was a good villain.
The rooters arc was actually my favorite part of omniverse so far. The only way I could like it more is if it didn't come at the expense of retconning Kevin's character.

Unless future Gwen some caused a butterfly effect and erased the timeline. That version of Kevin also had a son who wasn't cousins with Ken.

It’s things like that which overall ruined omniverse for me. The rooters were an overload of retcons that just went insane with how much it changed/negated/pretend didn’t happen.

To be honest I feel the final battle against Vilgax should’ve made Ben go through all of his ultimate forms starting with swamp fire, then humongosaur, then echo echo, then big chill, then wild mutt, then cannonbolt, and maybe a final transformation to heatblast, alien x, or maybe even chromostone since they are very important aliens to Ben as the first is his first alien, the second is his strongest alien, and the third is the alien that he had to sacrifice in order to stop vilgax last time or even make the final blow Ben himself to show ben’s true power or will. Though that’s just my idea though I feel one thing that would’ve been more powerful is in Ultimate Alien, Andreas should’ve died, I felt out of every alien that agregor killed and absorbed Andreas made the biggest sacrifice so just reviving him at the end is kinda bullshit imo, though if his death was permanent it could’ve not only made the end of that arc less slap in the face, but maybe they could’ve had a scene where argit had some guilt or sadness for basically killing an alien and maybe questioning where’s Andreas in a panic or something, then maybe it could’ve changed argit from an asshole who doesn’t really care about the consequences to an asshole who atleast wants to not hurt anyone, hell maybe no one blames argit for it but he blames himself. Just an idea

I do agree that there would have been more of an impact if the Andromeda aliens died, but I think what the writers should have done is don’t kill Andreas in the episode he appeared in and keep them all alive until the end of the Agregor Arc and then all of them sacrifice themselves in some way to defeat Agregor, each with their own parting words, such as Andreas saying goodbye to Argit(like you said, having an impact on him) and having Galapagos being the last to go, thanking Ben for all he’s done for them. And personally, I don’t mind Bloxx. It’s the aliens with no purpose except for jokes, The Worst and Walkatrout, that I think shouldn’t have been in the series.

I'm glad someone else thinks Ultimate Alien is the best Ben 10 series. It always seems like everyone says that after the original it just became trash. But as you said Ultimate Alien especially season one was the most concise and relatable story.

I think with the first point u made about the omnitrix being taken off, is more about being taken off my force by some one who doesn't have access. The omnitrix can be taken off easily of Azmuth or Ben choose it. Take the time when Ben took off the omnitrix at the end of alien force; he deactivated the coupling mechanism that joined the omnitrix to him. However if Vilgax tried to take it off by force, then it won't come on so easily, like he did in the episode of the original series, when Vilgax first came to Earth
Yeah I can agree with all but Ultimate Ben... Ben 10 has a few issues. Also the Omniverse Omnitrix being to be easily taken off was because they were updated versions that could be used by ben's biometric and dna profiling to be only used by a Ben Tennyson.
Yeah, Ultimate Ben was probably the worst in my opinion. As cool as the concept might be, I liked the original Ben 10,000 because he was pretty much better. And, hearing that Ben 10: Alien Force's future was Ultimate Ben, it put the nail on the coffin for me. I quit the show cold turkey.
The new shows dragged on, and I can understand the original show wasn't perfect, but it did well in keeping me interested. Nothing was off limits, and a majority of the time it never explained how or why things happened. Like, where does magic come from? Who knows, who cares, it's cool and gives Gwen some character development. Introducing Ben's watch's ability to get more alien DNA through contact in a werewolf-esc episode was amazing. Ghost Freak gaining sentience was jaw dropping and cool. There were just so many original ideas. And, the best part is stories were never in a chronological order. You could have an episode about the Templars, and then a few episodes for Vilgax, Keven, or some other random thing, and then pick back up with the Templars again and it would feel completely natural.
This... didn't happen with Ben 10 Alien Force, and Ultimate Alien was no better. Almost all of their episodes focused on one thing, and then when it was done there was almost nothing of context to focus on after that. The magic that was in the original is all now just aliens. If there is anything ever weird occurring, it's aliens. Keven couldn't be a mutant kid, he's part alien. Dr Animo couldn't just be a messed up scientist, he uses nothing but alien technology. It kinda got one note. I love the more recent Ben 10 though (not Omniverse). The newer kid friendly one seems kinda neat, and comical.

“Mature” does NOT automatically equal “better”.
Alien Force tried to take everything from the original and make it more for teenagers, with the alien invasions, the templar conspiracies, the constant use of dark night settings. As “cool” as it might sound, from a show that explored multiple areas, from aliens to mutants to robots to magic, they stripped away all of it for a single story, which doesn’t have much going on since we don’t really have a reason to care about other than “yet another alien threat against the world”. Veeery tiresome after a few episodes.
Ben wasn’t anymore the average kid you could see learning with you about Omnitrix and etc, he simply became an adult who can pretty much do everything on his own with no struggles. He became a basic hero. The same thing with Gwen, and their back-and-forth sibling dynamic was pretty much gone. The only character that comes off as interesting is Kevin, who was a pretty big villain in previous seasons and still faces conflicts with his own ethics but manages to grow out of his shell throughout the series.
Yes, the dialogue is good and the writing is decent, but so were both in the classic and I dare say even better, because meanwhile Alien Force kept trying to look adult, classic didn’t waste time with it and pulled the adult part over the course of the show, with Ben and others constantly growing as child characters and showing bigger signs of maturity, and all of that without going too stale or too ridiculous.
I think Goodbye and Good Riddance isn't cannon so Carl never knew about the omnintrix until Alien Force.Still a good video by the way. You don't see that many people recognizing Ben 10 for the amazing series it is.

Special fun fact: "Goodbye and Good Ridance" takes place in another timeline because The Omniverse flashbacks when Ben was 11 years old, takes place a year after the events of the Original series + The Secret of the Omnitrix movie. So “The Secret of the Omnitrix” movie takes place after “VS. The Negative 10″.

I honestly have a feeling that there's a reason for the constant retcons, like in 1 episode Ben mysteriously goes into the past for no reason, somehow retaining his memory and somehow instead of Gwen staying behind she instead goes for the Omnitrix herself but in the next episode everything's fine and dandy. Or how you yourself showed that Ben's parents knew about the Omnitrix was before, but that was retconned into them having never known until Alien Force. I think that the writers had an idea for Celestialsapiens the whole time, and had always had the idea in their mind that 1 simple action of theirs could change a specific part of history but keep things the same, and with the fact that each Celestialsapien has 3 different minds they're bound to make mistakes when creating changes, like how when in a certain Timeline everything is reversed and changed to where Gwen got the Omnitrix and later Maxwell, but they made a small mistake where Ben still had the memories of the previous timeline
These episodes weren't meant to be canon. They were meant to be What if episodes, like what if gwen got the omnitrix or what if ben went back to school and his parents found out

@@isaacdenley1922 can't really happen. Alien Xs species have a nearly infinite(maybe not that long but we can agree that a few billion years isn't that old from their perspective) lifespan considering they can control reality as they know it.
What the ultramatrix does is artificially simulate how the species would develop if they were constantly at war for billions for years. The problem with this process and why it won't work on alien X is in order for evolution to take place many generations of that species would have to pass in order to ensure only the best traits are passed on.
In other words ultimate Alien X can't exist because evolution cannot take place in within a single lifetime.

Kinda fifty fifty since the whole reboot happened. Would be awesome to see. But they would have to make this new Ben different from Ben 10K since they established that meeting his future self changes Prime Ben's future. So the Biomnitrix wouldn't be see. Not that I really want that back since aside from Atomic X wasn't a fan of any of the forms.

I think another problem with the franchise is how underused some of the aliens that were introduced later in the original series were. In season 3 and 4 of the original series some of my favorite aliens were introduced and didn't appear until Omniverse, which showed those aliens about 5-7 years after they appeared, which sucks. Aliens like Eye guy and ditto only appeared twice in the Oroginal and aliens like BlitzWolfer, Frankenstrike, and Snare-Oh had litterly only 1 appearance in the original. They had 2 full series they could had reintroduced them in but they chose not to, and that's something that really annoys to this day, this problem also continued with some aliens introduced in ultimate alien

Straight up Kurro. Future Gwen who possesses those ten charms was one my favorite characters ever just because of how awesome she is. I like the 2nd alternate ben 10k, especially like the idea you suggested, but gwen had so much potential and she was ultimately wasted.
I was also a big fan of kevin since he had the most interesting arc out of the main three characters and they practically tossed him aside (along with gwen) in omniverse. I would have given him an ability similar to the one you gave alternate ben 10k. Morphing parts of his body at will.

Yeah, my personal headcanon is that the way we see things unfolding in the final episode of Omniverse is just the way that Ben tells people the story, and because of his tendency to make dumb jokes in order to not need to convey his emotions, he simply claimed that what he saw was Mr. Smoothie even though it wasn't.

1. Make the Damn Series good enough for Old Viewers Or A.K.A., Make a Ben 10 Series that allows Mature Things. Old Viewers should be able to enjoy the same Franchise they once did if the Franchise had a Version of the Ben 10 Series that could apply to the More Mature Audience. Thus making the Show More Popular once again, bringing the Older Viewers who have experienced more mature scenarios in life enough to know what exactly is going on.
2. Let us see the lives of Ben's Aliens, when he isn't using them. Kinda something like Svtfoe did with Star's Wand. I dunno, It seemed pretty interesting. I'll edit this part if I ever think of another point.
3. Give Ben a New Love Interest that doesn't love him for his Powers, That won't break up with him because of stupid Shit, Don't give Ben another Harem like Omniverse Pretty much did that one time, and Introduce some Old characters back into the show like Jonesy! We never did get to know how Jonesy found out about Ben's Powers In the first place.

No, it wasn't a show for kids, it was stated to be a show for mostly kids, and partially for teenagers. The new one is just 100% kids.
Hwan Niggles one could argue in Ultimate Alien, the Ultimatrix suffered from a glitch with the evolutionary function which caused his Ultimates/blank slates to have their own personalities which made them pretty much alive. But there's a counter to my claim that it was just a glitch, not meant to happen. But it is possible that could just be another retcon because in "Destroy All Aliens." Those blank slates are alive in a simulated environment in the Omnitrix.
Ideally, Omniverse would have tied up every loose end, had Ben actually act like a hero who's had years of growth, had a fight were Ben showed mastery of the omnitrix, have no writer biases carried into the show and much much more. There's a lot of potential that the Ben 10 franchise never took advantage of but there's also a lot that it did

I'd agree with the one about showing us Ben's last adventure before taking off the Omnitrix, but I think we've already seen it. It's highly likely he decided to take it off after Malware removed Feedback from the Omnitrix.
I don't get why they didn't see the true forms of the Contemalia. Ben and other various characters see the true forms of other higher dimensional beings like the Nalgians, Celestialsapians, and Dagon so many times, but this one time in the finale, they just can't for no real reason? It just really upsets me because the probable real reason was that they didn't feel like making a new character design and went with the mediocre joke instead.
What if Ben was transformed into Alien X when he saw the contomelia would he see them normally because Alien X is now omnipotent since Belicus and Serena gave control of Alien X to Ben ? What are your thoughts on this statement ?
Personally, I would have loved it if Ben's Contemilia vision was Gwen as a nice full circle moment. When the show started, Ben could hardly stand Gwen. But over time, Ben came to trust Gwen above all other. A prime example of which being when seventeen year old Ben switched bodies with eleven year old Ben and seventeen year old Ben told Gwen to find him in the future instead of Max who would already be there. Another example would be when Verdona assumed that Ben and Gwen were siblings. Knowing that Anodites have telepathy and Verdona is not shy about using her powers casually on others, we can assume that she red Ben and Gwen's minds and got confused because that's how the two view each other.

Explain where the second Omnitrix came from in the episode from the OG series titled 'Ken 10'. If that version of Ben 10K doesn't take the Omnitrix and he gives Ken an Omnitrix for his birthday, where did it come from? I doubt Azmuth would have a made another watch just as birthday present. And, how did the watch's appearance change to that more of a Guantlet in 'Ben 10,000' and 'Ken 10'?

Concerning Ken's Omnitrix I mean Ben 10K made the Biomnitrix so it's not impossible to think origonal Ben 10,000 was able to make a copy of the watch he has had on for years to study. He even limited Ken to forms that weren't to combat heavy to keep his son safe at the start. Kinda dumb to me but made some sense. He knows how rough battles can be and the writers didn't want to just make Ken a copy of his dad with the same original ten transformations.

EDIT: Oh, and the five aliens Agregor was hunting? Ben got their DNA so he should’ve used ultimate versions of those aliens in his fight against Kevin 11 v.2 (or v.3 since Omniverse had a Kevin 11 made of the alien monsters.) or maybe ultimate versions of the available original 10. Maybe as a “we’ve fought like this before, except one of us grew from our experiences” or something.

If osmosians were fake then how tf did the techadon maker know what an osmosian is? he is supossed to be this secret person that shouldn't be known by many but knows alot. How about make it harder to remove the omnitrix, something like if someone manages to cut off his arm the omnitrix would disappear from his arm and then reappear somewhere else on his body.
the watch has like an AoE defense mechanism, if someone tries to cut his arm off it sends a feedback.

Ben seeing Grandpa Max as his Contomelia Vision would have made the last episode of the original story line fantastic.
One thing i always wanted in the show was Ben wearing Omnitrix on one hand and Ultimatrix on the other hand ..doubling his power as the Ultimatrix was not made by Azmuth and wasnt that good..but wearing Ultimatrix on one hand and omnitrix on the other would have so good ..but what do i get after Omniverse?.

Another idea for the Contimelia coulda had them look like different aliens Ben had. Or even look like the people closest to him.
Making them look like Ben's classic aliens would add so much depth. It's already heavily implied that Ben got bullied and the omnitrix made him feel like he was something more than a loser. Even NW Ben's universe implies this.
Ooooh, I like the idea of the Contimelia looking like Ben's aliens. I feel that Ben has a very close connection to his alien forms, to the point where he considers them extensions of himself, just lookat the way Ben reacted to Feedback being destroyed. Which aliens would Ben like the most though? Since there's three Contimelia, I'm thinking Feedback, Heatblast and Diamondhead.

I didn't really like Ultimate Alien as much because Ben went from being a serious, calm, and responsible individual into a cocky, erratic, and uncaring one. Don't believe me? Watch the Finale of Alien Force, and the first episode of Ultimate Alien.
It was so frustrating and disappointing to see a character with as much charm surrounding him, who has had so many adventures, personal growth, and other-worldly experiences, be converted into the dick head that he was in UA. It was so awesome seeing my childhood hero become *that* hero that I always aspired to be like, but then he just reverted back to his original series roots. Sure, he had moments where I saw glimpses of AF Ben, but most of the time he just acted immature and impatient. Sure he is only 16, but come on.
Other than that, I really liked the video and agreed with everything you said, it's nice to see someone else praise the show like I have been watching for a majority of my life.
I didn't like Ultimate Alien because it always seemed to me like less of its own show and more a spin- off of Alien Force, which I loved. Plus the main premise was never utilized well, and the second season pissed me off with random filler episodes that went all over the place tone- wise, and a main storyline that wasn't all that intriguing.
Nope Mang exactly I loved him on alien force because it felt like a natural progression for Ben, he wasn't going to stay immature and braindead his whole life, as we see in his future, so that Ben made sense, then because of network demand or whatever they rebooted his personality to become kid been again but even worse, only taking his bad personality traits and multiplying them by 20.
Nope Mang Alien Force Season 3 started his immaturity and I guess the writers were forced to work with that on Ultimate Alien.

At the time of Alien Force Season 3, it was both network demand AND fan demand that caused the writers to undo Ben's character development.
Only now, thanks to guys like Kuro, are the fans starting to see sense when it comes to storytelling.
Wasn't that season 3 of alien force, the season before ultimate (where Kevin was all mishmashed)? Alien force didn't have as good of ratings as the original so they made Ben more like the original only even less mature. Come ultimate alien they decided to mature him a bit, but still not as mature as the beginning of alien force. They brought Ben too close too his full development in alien force that he would have been static had been started alien force less mature, but grown to the season 1/2 alien force Ben it would have been great.
I agree with everything in this video. Here's some other things I would have done. Some of it seems a bit dark, but there has been death and rage in the series, so I would go with it.
1. Near the end of the series, have Kevin go evil and have him fight with Ben. In the fight, he injures Gwen or Rook and Ben loses his shit and beats him to a pulp, until he is stopped at the last second. Kevin realizes what he's done and later he saves Ben from Vilgax and they both fight him, in which Vilgax kills Kevin, ending his story arc.
2. Have Vilgax be the final villain, instead of Maltruant. Same story with the Contamelia, but have Gwen and Max also be there with Ben and Rook. Also, have Ben fight Vilgax one on one with his original ten aliens, out of nostalgia.
6:46 i am adding to the anticlimatic vilgax fight, have ben actually do better when dealign with ultimate aggregaor. he only used vines to trap aggregor and let his younger self do the heavy work. ULTIMATE SWAMPFIRE DIDN'T EVEN TRIY TO SHOOT FLAMES (in fact i am sure the only time he does is in his deabut....)
Number 5 is the worst one for me because there is a very simple way to fix it that I wish the writers would have used since it's actually CANON. In Secrets of The Omnitrix we see Azmuth disable the self destruct by removing the core of the omnitrix or whatever you call the dial. On Primus the core could have just popped out and left the actual band on Ben's wrist and then when it gets to Azmuth we see that Azmuth placed it into a duplicate band that he would just say he had lying around on Primus or in his lab somewhere in case a situation like that ever happened. When Ben gives the omnitrix maybe instead he could have removed the core and given it to Vilgax who planned to reverse engineer the actual band part or maybe he stole the band from Azmuth back on Primus and then Ben blows it up. You could also just have Ben get the ultimatrix by removing the core from it and placing it into the omnitrix. That way you can get the ultimate forms without changing the look of the watch which I think is better because I feel like a gauntlet like the ultimatric would just get annoying fast whenever you place your hand on a table and it bumps or something like that.

i dont know if you ever noticed, because it certainly took me a while to, but snare-oh and frankenstrike are actually absent from the omniverse scene too!
If I had the chance, I would remake Omniverse entirely. As you sad, there were some great ideas in the show, but their implementation wasn't good enough. Plus, sometimes Omniverse don't feel like a show from the original Ben 10 saga ... it's so different that (for me) it feels like a reboot or something ...

Honestly I'd love to see a "true" Ben prime, around mid 20s with the full powers of the Omnitrix at his disposal. (I should note this is sort of ignoring anything after ultimate alien)
From the very first episode onwards we see Ben getting drastically more powerful (before he got the watch he couldn't escape two kids his age, after just a few weeks with the watch he could dodge lasers while in human form) which makes me believe that every time the Omnitrix changes back it's actually changing his alien form into his human form exactly as he was before changing (like reloading a backup) but the Omnitrix's nature is to turn into the best possible version, so every time he transforms the watch subtly improves his DNA so that physically he is at peak performance.
So if at 10 he can dodge lasers, and at 16 fight through an army of aliens, how strong would human version be at 25? Likewise his aliens would also be in their most powerful age, like 4 arms being stronger than an adult female version at the equivalent age of 16 would be way stronger at 25.
He wouldn't have any fancy transformation abilities like Ultimate Ben or Ben 10k, but maybe he's started to pick up a few magic spells like ultimate Ben. Meaning he would wipe the floor against the vilgax from his first summer, he would've taken over Max's spot as the best plumber and goes around the galaxy fighting aliens too powerful for the regular plumbers. The actual plot / arch would then be max dying which is the last straw ontop of being bored of always being the best (going off his competitive nature from the original show) and goes off for self study, leaving the original watch he had Azmuth rebuilt to Gwen.
The first episode would first setup this lore and then show Gwen struggling to keep up, as although she is naturally better with the aliens, she lacks the experience and mind of Ben. She would be stuck with the original 20 ish aliens on the original watch except for Alien X (original Ben 10 + alien force, same model just a retexturing) but first the designs would be tailored to her and she would keep her magic, such as a wildvine who can control plants and make floating platforms to grapple onto or a four arms who could summon weapons to fight with. Meanwhile they would also be searching for Ben, who had gone back in time and was just watching his 10 year old self.
Episode 2 would then be Ben returning to his actual time period but still generally avoiding everyone and living in the null void, where everything is giving him an extremely wide berth. Kevin learns of this through connections and he and gwen track him down. Ben is like "I'm not going back" and it leads to Gwen challenging Ben to a fight, which Ben easily wins.
He then goes "where does it all end? I'm tired of fighting now and yet I can't just leave because I can't sit back when I could be helping" and eventually decides to give up the watch to Gwen, but not before she's fully ready. Each episode after that would be Ben teaching Gwen everything he knows about the groups of aliens (such as heatblast, wildvine and swampfire) and basically going "Ben knows alot about every single one of his transformations, and once again Gwen realises she underestimated his abilities".
There would be 10 transformation based episode which would basically end with Gwen having to face the various villains from the shows and using her own style to beat them, showing that she is learning from Ben but also not just copying him.
The final episode would be Ben and Gwen fighting and it being way more even, but being interrupted by something new. This monster would be the same species as dagon and would be looking for revenge, the two have to work together and basically be beaten to a pulp, with Ben using the omnitrix to scan it. But because it is energy he would just gets its powers, like vilgax, which would carry over to his aliens just like Gwen, who couldn't scan it due to her omnitrix not being powerful enough.
He would then be strong enough to actually damage the monster, big fight happens which spans the entire galaxy and visiting other planets like Galvin prime with it ending with Ben turning into ultimate alien X, which would be enhanced by the dagon like powers (the omnitrix would realise the powers would kill alien X and automatically turn into ultimate version).
But due to the power of enhanced alien X the other celestial sapiens get involved, who would violently strip away his powers leaving him as a weird hybrid of alien X, dagon and human, with barely any energy. As he was already transformed the omnitrix still thinks he was in alien form and tries to time out but can't because he's already sort of human and would short circuit, meaning he is permanently stuck. It would then end with Ben unable to use the omnitrix ever again and the true Omnitrix stuck on Ben, leaving Gwen with the original and the responsibility to be the next ben
That could work...
not a big fan of that.
