I love all the work they went to for her makeup and acting in this one. Not only did she have facial prosthetics, but she had like a muscle suit under the clothes, she had to have prosthetics on her legs for the tennis outfit since shorts, and she got a movement coach to help her move in a more masculine way. Also I know this was like 4 years ago but if you haven't watched the bts videos for this one, do it, it's really funny hearing her voice come out of this random dude. XD
My exact reaction when I found out the man was Taylor. That’s why I love behind the scenes stuff. But you are speaking exactly what I feel as a women sometimes. It’s amazing how women have to work for what they deserve and yet some men are just handed things because they are men. Take for example the movies Joker and birds of prey, joker gets praised for being amazing while birds of prey gets criticized for being a film about feminism and misogyny when joker is basically the same premise, only in joker it’s society that is treating him badly... like what makes those two movies different from each other other then the fact that one movie is about a girl and the other is about a man? Like I really don’t get society ( also I like both those films, not trying to but down either one)

And yet people always questioned whether she really did all that. People said if there was a co-writer in the room then obviously they must have written that song, even though she's been playing and writing songs since she was 12 or so. She's mentioned before that she had to keep quiet for a long time about how much of her business she's the mastermind of because no one wants to hear that from a woman, much less a teenage girl. Even co-writers have said that when she comes in with a song, it's half done already, maybe more. But the media especially liked crucifying her - for dating, for a lot of things. She was basically shamed for normal dating (and writing songs about it) when men do it, no problem. The guy in the video gets a hall of fame and high fives for sleeping with a girl. And while she writes her own songs, plays instruments, co-produces her albums, comes up with concepts for her videos and writes the treatments, and now directs.... people still say she's overrated when, however you may feel about her, you should at least admit she's smart and talented (and if she were a man, that wouldn't happen at all.) How many times have we heard someone say about a guy that "I don't like him but he's talented, I like his acting or his music." Whereas with successful women, we'll find reasons to hate on them and what they're doing in a way that is directly proportionate to how outspoken they are. I think overall this was a brilliant and funny way of handling a serious issue that women face.

I am a father who takes care of my kid every day, i have a father who took care of me, my friends are fathers who take care of their kids and i have never seen something close to that. If you have, maybe you should get new friends, because real men take care of their kids and we don't need praise for it.
