One of the very few American blends I got hold of. I enjoy it quite a bit, and like you say it's wonderful in the colder months. It's no my go-to aromatic, but I'm glad it's there when I want it.
I purchased this in a 2oz tin several months back, unlike your experience with bulk I found it to be quite moist in the tin. But let it dry out for a few before smoking and it wasn’t too bad. Overall, I wasn’t crazy about the blend like I thought I would be, I enjoyed it and will enjoy in the fall season but won’t be a regular in my rotation. I agree with your 6 out of 10 rating. Thanks for the video and review, take care!
A beautiful pipe, the crafters over at Savinelli sure are masters of their trade. Speaking of creators, yesterday was a sad day for another Italian brand of pipes: Brebbia. It's creator, Enea Buzzi, passed away at the age of 96. Allthough this brand isn't as well known as Savinelli, in my opinion Brebbia pipes are on par with them. Excellent review, although I'm not sure if this tobacco is available in Europe... Due to all the mishmashed laws on tobacco and importations. I'll see if I can spot it at a big tobacco store in Florence some time soon.
Good info and and I didnt know that about the Brebbia's creator. Hopefully you can find AE where you are. I forget that the laws in most European countries are quite restrictive. I imagine the U.S. will follow soon.
I think Autumn Eve tastes like maple syrup pancakes. Its not something I want all the time but an occasional smoke its just fine. Enjoy your day "off". ;)
Very good review! This tobacco is always a must for me in the fall! Pumpkin spice is another choice for the fall!

I know this is an old comment but how long will it stay good in a mason jar after it’s opened?
Great review...beautiful pipe! Thanks!
Thank you for the review. I just ordered 1 ounce to try today.

Wish we had C&D blends in the UK - not bought from America before, but will try to get some Autumn Evening for sure

Same here and I appreciate it!
Not a big fan of aromatics but I like this one a lot.
I’m with you on the 6. It’s good and different but not my top. I need to try the pumpkin spice! Thanks for the review.
Taste amazing with some bourbon. Definite, heavy maple syrup, buttery, little bit of oak and rum. burns hot. Gotta take this slow.
