@@TheHopefulAngler Yeah. Sick of being winded off.... Been too windy for a kayak but not windy enough to stop a SiB too many times lately, so swapped to a SiB.
Looking forward to the coming year with you, so you dont fancy the waterproof seat that True Kit are now selling? I suppose it would be pricey to import.
Hello My name is Doron, I really enjoyed it, you provided a lot of information, a week ago I purchased a 4.5 meter inflatable boat from the KOLIBRI 450-D company and I was very enthusiastic about your design of the boat with you, I would be happy if you could send, share the dimensions of the boxes that your wife's father built or if you bought one, the component material, This whole arrangement looks really practical and convenient or links to the components you purchased for the boat Thank you very much Doron
Hi Doron, I’m pleased you found it useful. Next time I’m in the garage I’ll measure up and let you know the dimensions. The material is wood, they have a framework that is clad with plywood and I painted them to match the boat colour , I have since painted them black.👍🏻
Hi Doron, I’ve made a short video of the box dimensions please let me know if the link works 👍🏻 ruclips.net/video/sGgLmy0Vy8U/видео.htmlsi=WMgg2jpb7EQV_412
Great modifications. Im soon moving to the North East near Morpeth have you any recommendations for spots for sib fishing i was thinking about amble Harbour
Thanks, I usually fish a bit further south but have fished Newbiggin before which is good also, Beadnell I’m intending on trying up around there more often 👍🏻
Morpeth??? You're in the middle of some good fishing grounds, from Newbiggin to as far north you're willing to go... As for Amble? It's a bit thick with seals and I don't know of any launch points apart from in the marina.
@@TheHopefulAngler I have raised it and it goes better lifted up 2cm on transom with my Tohatsu 9.8 2S. Otherwise it splashes a lot from transom. Also I raised tilt angle to the 3rd pin from bottom and fitted Solas propellor. Thinking of splashing out on a Tohatsu 15 4s, for more oomph, but I do like the lightness of the 2S. Great boat but quite sensitive to set up and weight distribution. Enjoy. Nice vids btw. Thanks for making them
@@gaycha6589 thanks hopefully more to come weather and time permitting. I tried raising the motor before I had the hydrofoil on and got a lot of ventilation, I’m going to try again with the hydrofoil, I think it will need a different prop, what type of Solas prop did you get?
Just noticed you put this video up. Great improvements and thanks for sharing. Your father-in-law certainly likes you!
Thanks, I’m hoping it all works out. Yeah he’s a top bloke, it never ceases to amaze me the things he can make😎
nice one buddy , great set up
Thanks 👍🏻
Tidy set up mate
Thanks 👍🏻
Feel like I'm still tinkering too, getting my SiB set up the way I want it...
Are you moving away from kayaks mate

Brill mate, I get that I swapped due to injury but defo haven’t looked back,
Let me know how you get on, it would be good to get out together 👍🏻

Did you wish you had the 400?
No I think that would be to big for me 👍🏻
Nice. Slap still tinkering with my Disco setup. Does extra weight blunt performance for yours?
Thanks, I haven’t tried the boat without any load in yet to compare. Have you raised the engine height on the transom?
